Abstract

Understanding the historical context of the revelation of the verses of the Qur'an, or what is known as asbābun nuzūl, plays an important role in revealing the theological messages contained therein. Surah Ali 'Imran is one of the surahs that contains profound values of monotheism, spread across several verses that have different backgrounds of revelation. The purpose of this study is to examine the values of monotheism contained in QS Ali 'Imran verses 31, 59, and 128 using the asbābun nuzūl approach, and to explore the dimensions of monotheism in these verses more contextually. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Analysis was carried out on classical and contemporary sources of interpretation to identify the form of monotheism contained in each verse. The results of the study show that verse 31 contains the teaching of monotheism ulūhiyyah, namely that true love for Allah must be realized through obedience to the Prophet Muhammad. Verse 59 reflects the monotheism of rubūbiyyah, with the assertion that only Allah has full authority as the creator and regulator of the universe. Meanwhile, verse 128 shows the asmāʾ wa ṣifāt dimension of monotheism, with an emphasis on the nature of Allah as the Most Forgiving (al-Ghafūr) and that all decrees belong to Him. Thus, these three verses show that the values of monotheism in Surah Ali 'Imran can be understood more fully and deeply through the asbābun nuzūl approach, which reveals the historical and theological dimensions of revelation.

Abstract

This study focuses on reinterpreting the meaning of hadiths on female leadership and the implications of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's hermeneutics on contextual hadiths. This study is a qualitative study using library research and Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's hermeneutics approach. The final results obtained from this study are, first, the interpretation of the Qur'an and hadith as texts cannot only be understood through linguistic analysis, but also the historical context at the time the Qur'an and hadith were revealed because the texts have historical dimensions. Second, Abu Zayd explains that in interpreting texts, a mufassir must be able to explain three main concepts, namely meaning (dalalah), significance (magza), and maksut 'anhu (unspoken dimensions). Third, based on the application of hermeneutics, it is concluded that the meaning of the hadith is that the prohibition is specific to the conditions of society at the time of the Prophet. Its significance affirms that leadership requires capacity, not gender, and that Islam must be understood in the spirit of justice and the benefit of the people. Meanwhile, the implicit purpose of the hadith (maqsūd 'anhu) points to the need for stability and social justice that can be achieved by anyone, male or female, as long as they meet the criteria for leadership.

Abstract

The program that has been planned will run well in accordance with the objectives if during program implementation there is monitoring and evaluation. So far, many programs have not run well because the person in charge involved is less than optimal in implementing them, this is triggered by a lack of supervision and evaluation from the manager which leads to misappropriation/manipulation. Mayantara School is one of the non-formal institutions engaged in the language which in general has been fairly advanced because the applied programs have been implemented well, one of the programs at Mayantara School is the Foreign Language course. The purpose of the research is to identify supervision and evaluation at the Mayantara School. The method used is qualitative with the type of field research, to identify the Supervision and Evaluation of language programs at the Mayantara School. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. And the data were analysed using Miles and Huberman’s theory with data reducing steps, data display, and conclusion. From the research, it concluded that the supervision and evaluation of the language program at the Mayantara School course institution have been fully implemented, the language program was designed and written in the activity structure, a supervisory team within the institution was formed to directly monitor the course of activities, after that an evaluation consisting of three stages was carried out. Program yang telah direncanakan akan berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan apabila pada saat pelaksanaan program terdapat monitoring dan evaluasi. Selama ini banyak program yang tidak berjalan dengan baik karena penanggung jawab yang terlibat kurang optimal dalam melaksanakannya, hal ini dipicu oleh kurangnya pengawasan dan evaluasi dari pengelola sehingga berujung pada penyelewengan/manipulasi. Sekolah Mayantara merupakan salah satu lembaga nonformal yang bergerak di bidang bahasa yang secara umum sudah terbilang maju karena program-program yang diterapkan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, salah satu program yang ada di Sekolah Mayantara adalah kursus Bahasa Asing. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui supervisi dan evaluasi di Sekolah Mayantara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan, untuk mengidentifikasi Supervisi dan Evaluasi program bahasa di Sekolah Mayantara. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dan data dianalisis menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa supervisi dan evaluasi program bahasa pada lembaga kursus Sekolah Mayantara telah dilaksanakan secara penuh, program bahasa dirancang dan dituangkan dalam struktur kegiatan, dibentuk tim pengawas di dalam lembaga yang memantau langsung jalannya program. jalannya kegiatan, setelah itu dilakukan evaluasi yang terdiri dari tiga tahap. Keywords: Monitoring, Evaluation, Language program

Abstract

The people who committed unregistered marriage as criminal and penalized by imprisonment has created some problems. Marriage in Islam is considered as worship so it is not supposed to be criminalized. On the other hand, most leaders and figures in Surabaya opprove to criminalize who committed sirri marriage and polygamy as criminal and punished by imprisonment has created as worship so it is not supposed to be criminalized. On the other hand, most leaders and figures in Surabaya approve to criminalize sirri marriage. Furthermore, a husband who refuses to take responsibility, someone who acts as a trustee but entitled to do it and divorce which was not conducted by the judicial court can also be considered as criminal acts.

Abstract

This article discusses Muhammad Syahrur's hermeneutical approach in understanding hadith and its implications for the position of the Prophet Muhammad in the Islamic legal system. Syahrur, as a contemporary Syrian thinker, offers a rational and contextual approach to religious texts, including hadith, which have been positioned as the main source of law after the Qur'an. In his hermeneutical framework, Syahrur distinguishes between “nusus” (text) and “fahm” (understanding), and emphasizes the importance of contextual reading of hadith by considering the times and social realities. He views that the authority of the Prophet as the bearer of revelation is limited in a particular historical context, so that not all actions of the Prophet are automatically binding as the basis of universal law. This view raises a critical discourse on the authority of hadith in the construction of Islamic law and opens a wider space for ijtihad for Muslims today. The article also examines the responses to Shahrur's ideas, both from supporters of Islamic thought reform and from those who maintain the traditional approach. In doing so, it seeks to contribute to the contemporary discourse on the methodology of understanding hadith and the role of the Prophet in the modern Islamic legal system.
