Abstract

This study examines t,he implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by PTPN I Regional 7, specifically the Micro and Small Business Funding Program (PUMK), in the Southern Sumatra region. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research explores the program's impact on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and local economic development. Data collection involved interviews, document analysis, and stakeholder observations, including beneficiaries and company representatives. The findings reveal that the PUMK program has successfully increased access to capital, provided training, and created job opportunities, particularly in Lampung, South Sumatra, and Bengkulu. However, implementation in South Sumatra lags behind other regions due to challenges such as limited information dissemination and low managerial capacity among MSME actors. Strategic collaboration with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) has significantly improved program reach and impact. Despite these successes, further evaluation and efforts are necessary to address existing challenges and optimize the program’s effectiveness. Enhancing digital access, increasing loan ceilings, and integrating environmental sustainability are recommended to ensure broader and more sustainable impacts.

The Family Assistance Team (TPK) cadres are established groups formed to support the national target of reducing stunting prevalence to 14% by 2024 across various regions in Indonesia, including Teluk Pandan District, Pesawaran Regency. Assessing the performance of TPK cadres is essential to evaluate their effectiveness in promoting behavioral changes within communities regarding child nutrition and health. The research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to the entire population of 54 TPK cadres, who also served as the study sample. The sampling technique applied was non-probability sampling through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics. The findings reveal that work experience, motivation, education, and skills collectively have a positive and significant effect on the performance of TPK cadres in supporting families vulnerable to stunting. These results highlight the need for regular monthly meetings and the provision of monitoring books as tools for ongoing evaluation of TPK cadre performance. Abstract

Abstract

The dynamic transformation of the business environment has encouraged organizations to adopt leadership models that are flexible and human-centered. This study examines the implementation of servant leadership from the perspective of employees in a local automotive company operating in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. Rooted in Greenleaf’s (1970) framework, servant leadership emphasizes leaders’ commitment to serving employees through ten core characteristics, including listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, commitment to employee growth, and community building. This research employs a qualitative phenomenological approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2020). The findings reveal that servant leadership is only partially implemented within the organization, with four characteristics conceptualization, foresight, healing, and community building being consistently practiced. Key barriers to full implementation include the predominance of indirect communication patterns, a stronger emphasis on short-term business targets over human resource development, and the absence of systematic leadership training programs. The study concludes that the application of servant leadership in non-corporate local firms requires contextual adaptation, particularly in organizations characterized by family-oriented management structures and the socio-cultural dynamics of Indonesian business practices. These findings contribute to the servant leadership literature by highlighting the contextual limitations and practical challenges of implementing human-centered leadership models in small and medium-sized enterprises in emerging economies.
