Abstract

Abstract

The high rate of youth unemployment in Cimahi City indicates a structural problem in the transition from education to the workforce. Vocational education, which is expected to be a solution to provide a ready-to-use workforce, has not fully met the needs of the industrial and business world (IDUKA). This study aims to analyze the effect of vocational education and the implementation of link and match on the work readiness of youth in Cimahi City. The research method used a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, combining a quantitative survey of the young workforce and qualitative interviews with education and industry stakeholders. The results show that vocational education has a positive effect on work readiness, but this effect is still in the moderate category due to the weak relevance of the curriculum and limited industry involvement. The implementation of link and match has proven to be a determining factor in improving work readiness, especially through internship experiences, industry-based training, and competency certification. This study concludes that strengthening systemic collaboration between the local government, vocational education, and IDUKA is key to improving youth work readiness and reducing the competency gap in Cimahi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze participants’ satisfaction with the organization of Honda Bikers Day 2025, focusing on three main factors: facilities, activities, and togetherness. The event is part of a community engagement strategy organized by PT Astra Honda Motor to strengthen loyalty and solidarity among Honda bikers in Indonesia. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach supported by simple quantitative data collected through questionnaires distributed to 93 participants. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using frequency distribution and thematic analysis of open-ended responses. The findings indicate that overall participant satisfaction falls within the fairly satisfied to satisfied category. The activity and togetherness factors were the most influential in shaping satisfaction, particularly through touring activities, music performances, and inter-community interactions that enhanced solidarity. However, the facilities aspect still requires improvement, especially regarding toilet cleanliness, rest areas, and venue management. It can be concluded that the success of Honda Bikers Day 2025 is more strongly influenced by the value of togetherness and social experience than by technical facility aspects alone. Abstract

A community service program (PKM) delivered participatory socialization and dialogue to support land acquisition planning for the rehabilitation of Cipancuh Dam, Indramayu, Indonesia. An intervention-based case study with a participatory, mixed-methods approach was applied to improve residents’ understanding of rehabilitation objectives, land acquisition planning stages, parcel listing–measurement–verification activities, and stakeholders’ rights and obligations. Forum findings highlighted recurring concerns regarding compensation, corporate social responsibility, and irrigation service distribution. Therefore, procedural clarification and accessible feedback/grievance channels are pivotal to strengthening social acceptance and preventing early-stage conflicts during land acquisition planning.
