Abstract

Abstack: this study aims to determine the effect of Motivation and Work Environment on the Work Concept. The population in this research is 24 hour indomaret employee in Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru consisting of 10 units of indomaret amounting to 100 people, the sample in this research is 50 employees. Sampling technique using cluster sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires or questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis, t test and F test with significant level of 0.05%. Based on the research, it is found that work motivation and work experience simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work concept. This is based on the result of analysis, where the calculation result shows Fcount> Ftable (10,050> 3,18). Furthermore, by t test to determine whether each independent variable has an effect on the dependent variable. The results of partial research for the variable work motivation is obtained t arithmetic = -388 with significant value 0.700 <0.05 This shows that partially states that there is influence of motivation on employee work concept. And partial test for work environment variable is calculated = 4.472 with significant value equal to 0.000. this shows that partially states that there is influence of work environment to employee work concept. The prediction ability of both variable to work concept in research equal to 28.2%. (adjusted R Square 0.282) while the remaining 71.8% influenced by other factors not included in this study.Keywords: Motivation, Environment, and Concept.

Abstract

Abstract: This study purpose to determine the influence of reward and punishment on learning motivation IPS class VIII students in SMPN 29 Pekanbaru. The population in this study is all students of class VIII, amounting to 254 students with a sample of 72 students. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The result of research based on multiple linear regression has shown reward and punishment influence to motivation study of IPS student of class VIII at SMPN 29 Pekanbaru. Reward positive effect on learning motivation and punishment have negative effect on learning motivation, this can be seen from constant value (a) equal to 32,329, regression coefficient value (b) equal to 0,782, and regression coefficient (c) equal to -0,537 with regression equation 32,329+ 0.782R - 0.537P. Judging from the calculation of R2 (R Square Change) obtained value of 0.703. This means that the percentage contribution of reward and punishment variable to the variable of learning motivation is 70,3%. Based on these results, it is suggested that teachers improve reward and punishment to increase learning motivation. However, giving punishment to students who have low learning motivation should be wise and in accordance with the mistakes made by these students.Keywords: Reward, Punishment, Learning Motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the interests and factors that influence him to continue his studies to the PPG program on students of PIPS FKIP Economic Education Riau University. This research includes quantitative research. The number of samples used in this study was 103 students. The types of data used in this study are primary data. The method of data collection uses questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between learning achievement, motivation to become a teacher, parental education and parental income to the interest of continuing to study to PPG program on students of economic education PIPS FKIP Riau University.Key Words: Interests of PPG, Learning Achievements, and Motivation to Become a Teacher

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of teaching competence of teachers and learning facilities to the results for students at SMAN 7 Bintan Bintan village numbing Coastal District of Bintan regency. This research was conducted at SMAN 7 Bintan from May 2015 through June 2015. The method used is descriptive quantitative method. A population of 53 students and 47 students sampled. Data collection instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale for the independent variables: teaching competencies of teachers (X1) and learning facilities (X2). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The result showed that the teaching competence of teachers and learning facilities simultaneously affect the students' learning outcomes. This is based on the results of analyzes, calculations show F count> F table (10.313> 3.195). While partially teaching competence of teachers and learning facilities affect the learning outcomes of students of class X and XI IPS SMAN 7 Bintan. This is evidenced by the t test, teachers' teaching competence variables obtained t 2,790 with a value ttabel1.679 and learning facilities obtained t 2,059 with a value ttabel1.679. So it can be concluded that the teaching competence of teachers and learning facilities effect on student learning outcomes with a contribution of 31.9% and the remaining 68.1% is influenced by other factors not examined as school environmental factors, community factors, physical factors, and psychological factors.Keywords: influence, competence level of teaching teachers, facilities, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aim is to determine the effect of education costs on interest in continuing study at economic eduation study program of FKIP UNRI in student class XII IPS of State High School in Tualang District, 2018. This research used Purposive Sampling technique, which aims to determine the sample intentionally, in this research using the criteria of student which have an interest to continue study in Economic Education Study Program in FKIP UNRI of students class XII IPS at State High School with A accreditation in Tualang District Sample in this research is 73 respondent. Data analysis technique used is the classic assumption test used is the normality test. The hypothesis test used is simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 19.0 and calculation using the formula manually. The result of reseacrh show that there is a positive and significant of education costs perception on interest in continuing study at economic education study program of FKIP UNRI in student class XII IPS State High School in Tualang District, 2018. This is evidenced by a simple linear regression analysis which obtained an Adjusted R Square value of 0.076, which can be interpreted the effect of Education Cost on the Interest in Continuing study in Economic Education Study Program is 7.6%. This means that when education costs are included in the affordable category according to students and parents, it will increase the interest of students to continue their study at Economic Education Study Program FKIP UNRI.Key Words: Interest in Continuing Study, Education Costs

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine corporate governance that represented by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, the size of the independent commissioner, and size of the board of directors had an influence on company performance at manufacturing companies which is listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2013 period until 2017. This study used quantitative descriptive with correlational design with the help of multiple regression. The data that used in this study was secondary data which was company’s annual report. The population of this study is all of the manufacturing companies amounting 146 companies with aim sample technique which have some criterias. The amount of sample in this study is 26 manufacturing companies. Simultaneously corporate governance had an influence on company performance at manufacturing companies which is listing in BEI for 2013 period until 2017 with contribution amounted 10,9%. Partially, institutional ownership had no influence on company performance, managerial ownership had no influence on company performance, the size of the independent commissioner had no influence on company performance, and size of the board of directors had an influence on company performance.Key Words: Corporate Governance, Company Performance

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to examine the effect of the CAMEL(Capital, Asset, Manajemen, Earning, Liquidity) Ratio and Economic Value Added (EVA) to stock return. Population of this research are National Private Banks (BUSN) that listed on the Stock Exchange of Indonesia from 2009–2013 that is numbered 19 banks. The type of data used is quantitative data. Data analysis technique using multiple linear analysis, simultan test and parsial test with significance level of 0.05%. The result showed that the CAMEL Ratio and Economic Value Added (EVA) simultaneously affect to stock return. Predictive ability of both variables on stock return in this study only 31,3 %, while the remaining 68,7 % is affected by other factors not included in the model reseach. Furthermore, the partial results of the study show the CAR, ROE, LDR, EVA have signifikan effect to stock return . NPL and BOPO have effect but not signifikan to stock return. And ROA have negatif effect and not signifikan to stock return.Keywords:CAMEL Ratio, Economic Value Added (EVA), Return Saham

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in improving students' interest in learning Economics in class X.4 at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This approach emphasizes the appreciation of students' cultural diversity in the learning process. This research uses a descriptive approach with a qualitative method involving both teachers and students as research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of CRT creates more relevant and engaging learning for students, thereby enhancing their interest in learning. However, there are challenges related to students' independence in learning and the limitations of technological facilities that need to be addressed. Teachers' efforts in providing support and adapting the learning process have proven effective in overcoming these challenges. This research makes an important contribution to more inclusive teaching practices based on students' needs and cultural contexts.
