Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the ability to write the news text of the students of grade VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to describe how high the level of writing skills of news text of students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 and describe the differences in the ability to write explanatory text between groups or between classes. This study has a population of 198 and a sample of 133. The results when tested using the Wilcoxon Test is the ability to write persuasion text equal to the value of comparison. The comparative value applied in this study was 84. The students 'writing ability was the same as the comparison score, which means that the ability to write high school students' news text is high. In other words the hypothesis is accepted. Then tested by using Kruskall Wallis. The result is that there is no difference in the ability of writing explanatory text of class VIII students between classes. Based on the results of research writers can be seen that the ability to write students are high because students have complete facilities and teachers are very creative in teaching and learning process. In addition, teachers who teach at the school are young and have high spirits. Although the school is private, but has accreditation A.Key Words: Ability, Writing, News Text, Student.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study titled Essay Writing Ability Description Class X SMAN 2 Singingi . This study aims to determine what is the ability to write essay description of the class X SMAN 2 Singingi . The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method . Data were students of Class X SMAN 2 Singingi that berjulah sample of 35 students . The results found in this study through three aspects: the accuracy of the title with the theme of high category with an average of 9.2 , the aspect of conformity content with the title essay category with the average being 8.4 and accuracy aspects of language use ( diction , sentence , paragraphs and punctuation ) being categorized with an average of 7.1 . Based on the calculation of average ability to write the essay description of the class X SMAN 2 Singingi category were namely 77.5.Keywords: accuracy aspect of the title with the theme of the article, suitability aspects content with the title essay , exactness aspects of language use ( diction , sentences , paragraphs and punctuation )

Abstract

Abstract: This research entitled the ability to read the exposition of the text of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. This study aims to describe the ability to read the exposition of the text of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru, to describe whether there is a significant difference in the ability to read the expositional text of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru between the sample groups and between the sexes. The type of this research is descriptive-quantitative. The population of this study amounted to 125 and 95 samples. The data of this study is the test results of students in the test of reading ability exposition of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. The test used is an objective test consisting of four alternative answers. The data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive method through t test to know the level of reading ability of expositional text of VIII students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru, one way anova test to know difference of reading ability of expositional text of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru between sample group and two way anova test to know the difference in the ability to read the exposition text of the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru between the sexes. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the ability to read a story about a matter of mathematics student of elementary school class V 105 Pekanbaru. This research is using quantitative methods. The populations in this research is all students is the fifth grade off primary school 105 Pekanbarutotaling 160 students. The sample in this research are 40 students drawn using simple random sampling technique. The technique collecting data is a test reading a story about a matter of math with 4 option/alternative. Data analysis technique is using statistics. The research concluded that the ability to read a story about a matter of mathematics students public elementary school class V 105 Pekanbaru category is very low with an average value of 42,25.Keywords: the ability to read, a story about a matter of mathematics.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is the traditon of manjopuik limau across the coast of Kuantan district of Kuantan Mudik district of Singingi. The purpose of this study is to describe how the tradition of manjopuik limau across te coast Kuantan district mudik Kuantan Singingi district, and how the aesthetics of language un the manjopuik tradition of limes across the coast of Kuantan sub-district queue mudik district Singingi. this type of research is descriptive qualitative research and ethnography approach that try to tell the existing problem solving based on existing facts. The results of this study is a narrative descriptive that is comprehensive along with interpretations that interpret all aspects of culture. This research tries to get as comlete information as possible anout the manjopuik tradition of limes across the coast of Kuantan Mudik district Singingi. the data in this research are verbal, nonverbal and aesthetic data of language contained in the manjopuik tradition of limes. Validity of data obtained by triangulation technique. Then the data are analyzed and classified according to the stage of the manjopuik tradition of limes. The result of research, found verbal elements, nonverbal elements, and language aesthetics in the tradition of manjopuik limau amounted to eighty nine data. The division of data is (1) verbal elements amounted to twenty data,(2) nonverbal elements of eight data, and (3) aesthetic language totaled sixty on data.Keywords: Traditions of manjopuik limau, Seberang Pantai, Kuantan Mudik, Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to investigate the politeness of language Strategy from Stand Up Comedy show season 4 by Kompas Tv. The purpose of this study was to describes positive politeness strategy and negative politeness strategy from Stand Up Comedy show season 4 by Kompas Tv. The kind of this study was used qualitative of descriptive method. This study aims to exploring, describing and explanation a variation, symptoms, or the systematically circumstances, factual and accurately about the data, the characteristics and phenomena. The sources of data was a video of Stand Up Comedy has theme “social critics” by comedian of Indonesia contained by Kompas Tv seasons 4 taken from youtube. Technique of collecting data of this was listening technique. Data analysis techniques were listening and watching the videos of stand up comedy, reading, determining data, grouping data, and performing data analysis. Based on the was found six of Stand Up Comedy videos season 4 by 27 speeches of comedians used 12 positive politeness strategies and 39 speeches of comedians comedian used 9 negative politeness strategy.Keywords: Politeness Of Language Strategy, Stand Up Comedy

The aim of this study is to describe the cultural value in novel Pada Senja yang Membawamu Pergi by Boy Candra. The types of this research is qualitative descriptive research that trying to solve the problem based on existing data. Abstract

ABSTRACT :This study discusses civility in text basisombau ulu jambau, ulu tepak dan buka selo. Basisombau is the language used by speakers in conveying the intent and purpose. Basisombau contained in the show home bainduok or looking for tribal events conducted by local communities and indigenous people  who are not in the Muara Mahat Baru Village. Politeness is the attitude conveyed by the speaker speaking to opponents said. The method in this research is descriptive method that is based in the fact that there or phenomena that are empirically speakers in the speaker, in this study found the phenomenon of politeness in speaking basisombau. First, the text contained 14 data ulu jambau, have indicators that politeness maxims of wisdom, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, maxim compliment,. Second, the text contained 9 ulu tepak of data, have indicators that politebess maxims  of wisdom, maxims agreement, sympathy maxims, maxim praise. Third, in buka selo text are 10 data, , have indicators that politeness maxims of wisdom, agreement maxim. The scale of politeness on 33 data is Indirectness scale,all the data are positive politeness is not independent of the form of speech acts, the context and meaning  Keywords :Politeness, Basisombau, Pulang Bainduok( Looking for parts)

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the ability to read the text of explanation of class VIII students MTs Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir. The purpose of this study is To know and describe the ability to read text explanation of students of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir and know whether there is any difference in the ability to read text explanation between class VIII students MTs Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir. This study has population 138 and sample 103. The result of research when tested by using t test is the ability to read text explanation of class VIII students MTs Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir not equal to the value of comparison. The comparison scores applied in this study were 30. Students' reading ability was not the same as the comparator score. In other words the hypothesis is rejected. This means that the ability to read text explanation of class VIII students MTs Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir is very low. Then tested using ANOVA unidirectional. The result is difference of ability to read text of explanation of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir class between class.Keywords: Ability, Reading, Text Eksplanasi, Student

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study discusses the imperative speech teacher in kindergarten FKIP University of Riau. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims to describe the imperative speech teacher. Subject of this research were four teachers who taught in all classes in Preschool Guidance and Counseling, University of Riau is in a kindergarten, kindergarten and kindergarten B1 B2. This research uses verbal data type that originates in the utterances teacher in learning in kindergarten FKIP University of Riau. Data obtained using the technique of recording and record, then classified based on the types of sentences and then formulated into a knot. Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the pragmatic imperative form contained in the speech teacher in learning in kindergarten FKIP Riau University comprises 12 form imperatives, namely: (1) Imperative Command, (2) Prohibition Imperative, (3) Imperative Pressure , (4) Imperative Ngelulu, (5) appeal Imperative, (6) Persilaan Imperative, (7) Imperative Demand, (8) Allow Imperative, (9) Provision Imperative Congratulations, (10) Persuasion Imperative, (11) Imperative Call , and (12) Imperative Ignorance. The imperative utterances spoken kesantunannya teacher based strategy. Strategic imperatives in the utterances teacher uses direct speech to the strategy of positive politeness and negative politeness. Judging is based on structural, imperative sentences directly used by teachers when the communication between teachers and children are considered less polite as narrative conveyed directly and very little use as a marker kesantunannya markers.Key words: the imperative of teachers, learning in kindergarten
