Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nurses’ interpersonal conflict and job satisfaction at Hospital X Depok in 2025. Interpersonal conflict in the workplace may negatively affect nurses’ psychological well-being, performance, and quality of healthcare services, thereby reducing job satisfaction. This research employed a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all nurses working at Hospital X Depok, totaling 151 individuals, with a final sample of 121 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using three instruments: a demographic questionnaire, an interpersonal conflict questionnaire based on Wexley’s theory, and the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) short form to measure job satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using univariate statistics and the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that 55.4% of respondents experienced low interpersonal conflict, while 44.6% experienced high interpersonal conflict. Job satisfaction levels were relatively balanced, with 50.4% of nurses reporting high satisfaction and 49.6% reporting low satisfaction. The Chi-Square test indicated a significant relationship between interpersonal conflict and job satisfaction (p = 0.000). Nurses experiencing low interpersonal conflict tended to have higher job satisfaction, whereas those experiencing high interpersonal conflict predominantly reported low satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of effective conflict management strategies, supportive leadership, and strengthened interpersonal communication to enhance nurses’ job satisfaction and improve the quality of healthcare services.

Abstract

Aktivitas perawat dalam menerapkan suatu wewenang, tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam rangka pencapaian fungsi utama profesi dan organisasi merupakan gambaran dari kinerja. Kinerja perawat mempunyai arti seperti prestasi kerja di suatu perusahaan. Pengukuran kinerja perawat dilakukan berdasarkan fakta, terbuka dan dapat dikomunikasikan. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat dampak kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja perawat. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantatif dengan True-Experimental Design melalui rancangan Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian perawat pelaksana rumah sakit, jumlah sampel sebanyak 76 yang terdiri dari 38 kelompok intervensi dan 38 kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik menggunakan General Linear Model Repeated Measures. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa nilai p value 0,001 < 0,05 pada setiap pengukuran,  Nilai perbedaan rata-rata dari pengukuran pertama sampai ketiga 6,55. Maka disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional mempengaruhi kinerja perawat. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala ruangan dapat meningkatkan kinerja perawat pelaksana secara signifikan dengan p value 0,001. Sehingga intervensi yang dilakukan kepada kepala ruangan mempengaruhi nilai kinerja perawat pelaksana.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Luka tekan merupakan masalah kerusakan integritas kulit. Luka tekan merupakan luka karena tekanan yang berlangsung cukup lama pada kulit dan jaringan kulit, yang dapat berakibat pada kondisi yang semakin menurun. Kerusakan integritas kulit akibat luka tekan adalah kerusakan jaringan yang terlokalisir, yang disebabkan karena adanya kompresi jaringan lunak diatas tulang yang menonjol. Untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan minyak zaitun dalam menjaga integritas kulit pada pasien tirah baring di ruang perawatan Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) yang dirawat di RSUP Persahabatan, dengan membandingkan kondisi kulit sebelum dan sesudah pengaplikasian minyak zaitun. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana minyak zaitun dapat membantu mencegah kerusakan integritas kulit dan mengurangi risiko terjadinya luka tekan pada pasien yang terbaring lama. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain Non-equivalent Control-Group(Hanif, 2019). Berdasarkan pernyataan para ahli diatas, maka penulis mengambil sampel responden sebanyak 10 subjek untuk yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Jumlah sampel ini diharapkan mewakili populasi untuk mendapatkan data eksperimental kelompok dalam menilai efektifitas penggunaan minyak zaitun dalam mencegah kerusakan integritas kulit pada pasien tirah baring di ruang pediatric intensive care. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan signifikan efektifitas penggunaan minyak zaitun dalam mencegah kerusakan integritas kulit pada pasien tirah baring diruang PICU. Kesimpulan: Untuk menjaga kelembapan kulit, kita dapat menggunakan apa saja. Dan tetap memperhatikan kadar hemoglobin dan Albumin pasien yang dirawat. Kata Kunci: Minyak Zaitun, Efektiftifitas Minyak Zaitun  ABSTRACT Pressure ulcers are a problem of damage to skin integrity. Pressure ulcers are wounds due to pressure that lasts quite a long time on the skin and skin tissue, which can result in a worsening condition. Damage to skin integrity due to pressure ulcers is localized tissue damage, which is caused by compression of soft tissue above the protruding bone. To determine the effectiveness of using olive oil in maintaining skin integrity in bedridden patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) who are treated at Persahabatan Hospital, by comparing skin conditions before and after applying olive oil. In addition, this study also aims to evaluate the extent to which olive oil can help prevent damage to skin integrity and reduce the risk of pressure ulcers in patients who are bedridden for a long time. The type of research used is a quantitative experimental method with a Non-equivalent Control-Group design (Hanif, 2019). Based on the statements of the experts above, the author took a sample of 10 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria that had been set. This sample size is expected to represent the population to obtain experimental group data in assessing the effectiveness of using olive oil in preventing damage to skin integrity in bedridden patients in the pediatric intensive care room. The results of statistical tests show a significant relationship between the effectiveness of olive oil use in preventing damage to skin integrity in bedridden patients in the PICU. Conclusion: To maintain skin moisture, we can use anything. And still pay attention to the hemoglobin and albumin levels of patients being treated. Keywords: Olive Oil, Effectiveness of Olive Oil

Abstract

Latar belakang: Tummy time adalah aktivitas yang dianjurkan untuk dilakukan pada bayi sejak usia dini, yaitu sekitar dua minggu setelah lahir. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan menempatkan bayi pada posisi perut di atas permukaan yang datar dan keras, seperti matras atau karpet. Tummy time penting untuk membantu perkembangan fisik dan motorik bayi. Banyak ibu post partum yang belum mengetahui manfaat tummy time untuk perkembangan motorik dan kesadaran lingkungan bayi baru lahir. Tujuan: Pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai upaya dalam meningkatan pemahaman Ibu terkait penerapan tummy time Metode: Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang penerapan tummy time kepada ibu post partum. Hasil: Hasil pre-test  menunjukkan nilai pengetahuan ibu terkait Tummy Time rata-rata mendapat nilai 5 dan post-test menunjukkan menunjukkan nilai pengetahuan ibu terkait Tummy Time rata-rata mendapat nilai 7,80. hal ini berarti rerata pengetahuan ibu post partum terkait tummy time meningkat setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan edukasi terkait tummy time Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan kesehatan efektif dalam meningkatan pemahaman Ibu terkait penerapan tummy time. Penyuluhan kesehatan perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan agar pengetahuan Ibu dalam perawatan bayi baru lahir dapat meningkat.

Abstract

Childhood obesity remains a significant public health concern worldwide. Unhealthy dietary patterns characterized by excessive consumption of high-calorie, high-fat, and high-sugar foods contribute substantially to the increasing prevalence of obesity among school-aged children. Poor dietary habits developed during childhood may lead to long-term health consequences, including metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and psychosocial problems. This study aimed to identify the characteristics of respondents, describe dietary patterns and obesity levels, and analyze the relationship between dietary patterns and obesity among elementary school children at SDN Lenteng Agung 03 in 2023. This study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study involved 34 obese elementary school children selected using a total sampling technique. Dietary pattern data were collected using a structured questionnaire, while obesity status was assessed through anthropometric measurements and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The findings revealed that most respondents were male (64.7%) with a mean age of 9.97 ± 1.14 years. The majority of respondents had good dietary patterns (67.6%), while 32.4% had poor dietary patterns. Regarding obesity levels, 76.5% were categorized as Obesity Grade I, 14.7% as Obesity Grade II, and 8.8% as Obesity Grade III. The Chi-Square test demonstrated a statistically significant relationship between dietary patterns and obesity levels among elementary school children (p-value = 0.001). There is a significant relationship between dietary patterns and obesity among elementary school children. Children with poor dietary patterns tend to experience more severe obesity levels than those with healthier dietary patterns. Improving healthy eating behaviors is essential in preventing and controlling childhood obesity.

Abstract

Quality nursing services are an essential indicator of hospital performance because they directly influence patient satisfaction. Nurses, as healthcare professionals who interact most frequently with patients, play a strategic role in ensuring high-quality healthcare services. However, challenges remain in implementing nursing quality management, including inconsistent application of service standards, ineffective therapeutic communication, and limited understanding of nursing quality indicators. This community service program aimed to improve nurses’ knowledge and competencies regarding nursing service quality management to enhance patient satisfaction in hospitals. The program was conducted through training sessions, interactive lectures, case discussions, nursing service simulations, and evaluations using pre-tests and post-tests. A total of 35 nurses from inpatient wards and other service units participated in the activity. Evaluation was carried out to assess participants’ knowledge improvement after the training. The results demonstrated an increase in participants’ average knowledge scores from 68.4 during the pre-test to 87.6 during the post-test. Participants showed improved understanding of quality management concepts, nursing quality indicators, SERVQUAL dimensions, patient safety principles, and strategies for improving patient satisfaction. The activity also enhanced participants’ awareness of the importance of a quality culture in nursing services. In conclusion, nursing service quality management training effectively improves nurses’ knowledge and understanding of quality improvement efforts and patient satisfaction enhancement. Continuous training programs are recommended to support the development of a quality culture in hospitals

Abstract

Performance is the result of work in terms of quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. This study aims to identify the Relationship Between Organizational Commitment and Workload with Nurse Performance at Kembangan Hospital in 2024. The research method used is correlation analysis with a cross-sectional design approach. The sample of this study consisted of 88 nurses working at Kembangan Hospital, the technique used was total sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the level of organizational commitment, workload, and nurse performance. The results showed that organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on nurse performance (p <0.05). This means that the higher the organizational commitment of the nurse, the better the performance shown. Conversely, workload has a negative and significant effect on nurse performance (p <0.05). This shows that high workload tends to reduce nurse performance. Conclusion: The results of the study show a Relationship Between Organizational Commitment and Workload with Nurse Performance at Kembangan Hospital in 2024.
