Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the understanding, implementation, and constraints faced by the teacher of Vocational High School State 1 Lhokseumawe in the implementation of the educational unit level curriculum. To achieve these objectives, this study uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The procedure of data analysis is data reduction, data display, and verification. While the subject of research is the principal, vice principal areas of curriculum and instruction, and teacher. The results showed that:(1) Teacher’s understanding of the educational unit level curriculum has been positive and keep up with the needs of learners with attention to the weaknesses of the development of science, technology, and art as a whole and sustainable; (2) Implementation of educational unit level curriculum is done by adjusting the curriculum with lesson plans grains so that the delivery of teaching materials has alignment with the time and abilities of students; and (3) Constraints teachers in the implementation of educational unit level curriculum, among others: (a) lack of educational facilities and infrastructure that support the application for the establishment of educational unit level curriculum perfectly, (b) lack of awareness of the teacher in preparing learning materials before the learning takes place, (c) the lack of allocation of time in learning process, and (d) the lack of teacher supervision in controlling the achievement of student learning outcomes in the classroom and in the school environment development.Keywords: Professionalism, Teacher, and Educational Unit Level Curriculum.Abstrak: Peneli­tian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman, implementasi, dan kendala yang dihadapi guru SMK Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe dalam implementasi KTSP. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum dan pengajaran, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pemahaman guru terhadap KTSP sudah positif dan mengikuti perkembangan serta kebutuhan peserta didik dengan memperhatikan sisi kelemahan terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni secara menyeluruh dan berkesinambungan; (2) Implementasi KTSP dilakukan dengan menyesuaikan butir kurikulum dengan rencana pengajaran sehingga penyampaian materi ajar memiliki keselarasan dengan waktu dan kemampuan siswa; dan (3) Kendala guru dalam implementasi KTSP antara lain: (a) kurangnya sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang mendukung untuk terwujudnya penerapan KTSP dengan sempurna, (b) kurangnya kesadaran guru dalam mempersiapkan materi pembelajaran sebelum pembelajaran berlangsung, (c) kurangnya pengalokasian waktu dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (d) kurangnya pengawasan guru dalam mengontrol hasil pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa di kelas dan perkembangannya di lingkungan sekolah.Kata kunci : Profesionalisme, Guru, dan KTSP

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengelolaan pembelajaran terkait dengan upaya guru untuk menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penyusunan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan kendala  dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS di SMP Kecamatan Jaya Baru Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.Sumber data penelitian adalahkepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum dan guru IPS. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran diawali dengan pembagian tugas guru dan penyusunan jadwal kegiatan belajar mengajar pada awal tahun ajaran sekolah. Dokumen perencanaan pembelajaran IPS dimiliki oleh guru terdiri dari kelender pendidikan, program tahunan, program semester, program modul, program mingguan dan harian, program pengayaan dan remedial, program bimbingan dan konseling, pengembangan silabus dan RPP. Dalam hal ini guru dibolehkan  mendownload program-program pembelajaran sekolah lain sebagai perbandingan, namun tidak melakukan plagiat, guru wajib memodifikasinya sesuai dengan kebutuhan lokal. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS dilaksanakan dengan alokasi waktu 4 jam tatap muka perminggu perkelas. Metode pembelajaran yang dominan dilakukan oleh guru adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab,diskusi kelompok dan penugasan. Langkah-langkah pelaksanaan pembelajaran mencakup tiga kegiatan, yakni kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan dalam bentuk tes formatif dan sumatif. Materi tes disusun dalam bentuk soal essay dan pilihan berganda tanpa dilakukan  uji validitas dan reliabilitas terlebih dahulu. Pemberian skor dan nilai berdasarkan Penilaian Acuan Patokan. Program remedial dilaksanakan bagi siswa-siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (4) kendala bagi guru dalam mempersiapkan perangkat pembelajaran IPS; (a) kejenuhan dalam mengajar mengurangi motivasi guru terhadap improvisasi mutu pembelajaran, (b) guru IPS kurang mendapat bimbingan dan pelatihan, (c) media pembelajaran IPS sangat terbatas, (d) adanya persepsi bahwa pembelajaran IPS itu mudah dan kurang menarik. Kendala bagi guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS adalah; (a) karakteristik siswa yang beragam menyebabkan pengendalian kelas kurang efektif, (b) kurang variatifnya metode pembelajaran menyebabkan kurang efektifnya penyampaian materi (c) kurang aktifnya situasi kelas disebabkan siswa kurang tertarik terhadap materi IPS

Abstract

Abstract: The empowerment of school committee is one of important factorsto succeed education programs including short-term programs, mid-term programs, and long-term program. This research aimedto find out a description of how the empowerment of school committee implemented, school committee empowerment strategies, and obstacles faced by principal in empowering school committee. The approach used was qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation study. The research subjects were principal, vice-principal, teachers and school committee. The result showed that:(1) The development program of school committee includedregular meetings, School Budget Planning, semester report, routine activity, feast, market day, birthday school celebration, educational visit, competition, and delivering progress and setback the schools achieved. However, the result was not effective enough. (2) The empowerment strategy of school committee was implemented through regular meetings, parent’s meeting, routine activities, feast, market day, school birthday celebration, educational visit, school information, and culture transparency in school management. (3) The obstacles faced in empowering school committeewere the committee itself did not create the program. The low of economic factor, unconcerned education, and lack of time were also the obstacles faced in empowering the school committee so that the implementation of school committee empowerment was less effective.Keywords: Empowerment, school committeeAbstrak: Pemberdayaan Komite Sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor penting terwujudnya keberhasilan program pendidikan yang meliputi proram jangka pendek, menengah dan jangka panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang bagaimana program pemberdayaan komite sekolah, strategi pemberdayaan komite sekolah dan hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam pemberdayaan komite sekolah. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi,wawancara dan studi dokumentas. Sabjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan komite sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Program pemberdayaan komite sekolah meliputi rapat rutin yang dilaksanakan sekolah, ikut mensahkan RKAS, pengambilan rapor setiap semester oleh orang tua, kegiatan rutin, seperti tasyakkur, market day, perayaan milad SDIT Nurul Fikri Aceh, kunjungan edukatif dan acara lomba menjelang penerimaan murid baru, menyampaikan kemajuan dan kemunduran yang dicapai sekolah namun dalam pelaksanaannya belum menunjukan hasil yang maksimal.(2) Strategi pemberdayaan komite sekolah melalui rapat rutin yang dilaksanakan sekolah, mewajibkan pengambilan rapor setiap semester oleh orang tua, kegiatan rutin seperti tasyakkur, market day, perayaan milad SDIT Nurul Fikri Aceh, kunjungan edukatif dan acara lomba menjelang penerimaan murid baru, menyampaikan prestasi yang dan kemunduran yang dicapai sekolah, menyediakan infotmasi tentang sekolah kepada masyarakat, menumbuhkan budaya trasparansi dalam pengelolaan sekolah. (3) Hambatan dalam pemberdayaan komite sekolah, tidak adanya program yang dibuat oleh komite sendiri, faktor ekonomi masyarakat sekitar sekolah rata-rata ekonominya menengah kebawah, faktor anggota komite yang kurang peduli dengan pendidikan, kurangnya waktu yang dimiliki komite sekolah, sehingga program pemberdayaan komite sekolah kurang efektif.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Komite Sekolah

Abstract

The principal is the person responsible for improving the professional competence of teachers in the school. The purpose of this research is looking at program arrangement, program implementation, and obstacles encountered. The research methodology used in this study was qualitative technique, and for data collection was done by way of documentation, observation and interview. The sources of data in this study were gathered from the principal and teachers. The result of this study showed that the programs used by the principal in improving the professional competence of teachers were to require the teachers to make RPP, syllabus, annual program, and prepare the teaching materials before the learning and teaching process implemented. There are two strategies used in improving the professional competence of teachers: Formal and Non Formal. Formal strategy were including teacher training, professional training, seminars, while the Non-Formal strategy were emphasizing discipline and motivating teachers. The obstacles faced by the head of SD Negeri 13 Banda Aceh were the lack of teachers and even some existing teachers did not master the IT, and the limited time obtained by teachers at the time following the training and so forth.

Abstract

Abstract: Teacher certification program is a government program as an effort to obtain professional teachers. The government expects that the certification improve teacher performance and the national education quality especially student learning outcomes. The general objective of this study was to find out to what extent the certification and teacher performance influence student learning outcomes in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School. The specific objectives of this study was to describe (1) the influence of the certification on the improvement of student learning outcomes in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School and (2) the influence of the teacher performance on the improvement of student learning outcomes in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School in planning and implementing learning process. This study used descriptive design with qualitative approach that focused on correlation of the variables, that is teacher certification (X1), teacher performance (X2), and learning outcomes (Y). Population of this study was all teacher in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School while samples were teachers who have had the certification. Data were collected through questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data from questionnaire that have been scored for teacher certification and performance then were processed by using statistic method. The results showed that there was significant correlation of teacher certification and performance with the student learning outcomes, that is (1) there was positive influence of the teacher certification on student learning outcomes and (2) there was positive influence of the teacher performance on student learning outcomes.Keywords: The Influence of Teacher Certification and Performance.Abstrak: : Program sertifikasi guru merupakan program dari pemerintah sebagai upaya untuk mendapatkan guru yang profesional. Dengan adanya sertifikasi guru, pemerintah berharap kinerja guru akan meningkat dan pada gilirannya mutu pendidikan nasional akan meningkat pula terutama hasil belajarsiswa. Adapun tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh sertifikasi dan kinerja guru terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) Pengaruh positif sertifikasi guru terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. (2) Pengaruh kinerja Guru Sertifikasi Terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang berfokus pada pengungkapan hubungan antar variabel, yaitu Sertifikasi Guru (X1) Kinerja Guru (X2) dan Hasil Belajar (Y).Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Guru di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Sedangkan sampel guru-guru yang telah memiliki sertifikat pendidik. dan Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan metode pengolahan dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil kuisioner yang telah diberi bobot untuk sertifikasi dan kinerja guru yang mempengaruhi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, yang selanjutnya diolah dengan metode statistik. Hasil penelitian meninjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antar asertifikasi dankinerja guru terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar yaitu (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antar asertifikasi guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kinerja guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : Pengaruh Sertifikasi Dan Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

Abstract: Supervise instruction represent one of activity able to improve teacher performance. This research aim to for the mendeskripsikan of process compilation program, program execution and factors influencing execution supervise instruction by headmaster at SMPN 12 Banda Acheh. This Research use approach qualitative. Data collecting observation, documentation and interview. Source of data headmaster, curriculum area headmaster proxy, student and teacher. Result of research indicate that (1) Compilation program supervise instruction every early school year, in the form of activity class observation, individual meeting, staff meeting, senior tuition, workshop, permit and training learn. (2) Execution supervision; activity Observation class by headmaster visit class to see directly ability teacher teach. Individual meeting at the time of there teacher discipline collision, good intern conflict teacher with sejawat or teacher with student. Activity Workshop scheduled and packed into Cost Estimate Plan School. Activity Training usually learn only as participant, where headmaster send delegation learn to follow various activity training, hereinafter the teacher obliged to socializing in the form of activity staff meeting. Headmaster also always give recommendation to continue education to teacher according to regulation going into effect, (3) Factors influencing execution supervise instruction by headmaster in improving performance learn SMP Country 12 Banda Acheh, that is: fund supporting activity supervise not yet is adequate, (b) support On duty Education to activity supervise not yet is optimal, (c) essence supervise not yet been comprehended by all teacher so that activity supervise kadangkala interpreted as effort look for weakness teacher, (d) teachers owning old year of service or almost pension not too care to make-up of its profession development and performance.Keywords :Abstrak: Supervisi pengajaran merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penyusunan program, pelaksanaan program dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah pada SMPN 12 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penyusunan program supervisi pengajaran dilakukan setiap awal tahun ajaran, dalam bentuk kegiatan observasi kelas, pertemuan individu, rapat staf, bimbingan senior, workshop, pelatihan dan izin belajar. (2) Pelaksanaan supervisi; Kegiatan observasi kelas dilakukan dengan cara kepala sekolah mendatangi kelas untuk melihat secara langsung kemampuan guru mengajar. Pertemuan individu dilakukan pada saat ada guru yang melakukan pelanggaran disiplin, konflik intern baik antara guru dengan sejawat atau antara guru dengan siswa. Kegiatan workshop dijadwalkan dan dimasukkan dalam Rencana Anggaran Belanja Sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan biasanya guru hanya sebagai partisipan, dimana kepala sekolah mengirim perwakilan guru untuk mengikuti berbagai kegiatan pelatihan, selanjutnya guru tersebut diwajibkan untuk mensosialisasikannya dalam bentuk kegiatan rapat staf. Kepala sekolah juga selalu memberikan rekomendasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan bagi guru sesuai peraturan yang berlaku, (3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 12 Banda Aceh, yaitu; (a) penyediaan dana yang mendukung kegiatan supervisi belum memadai, (b) dukungan Dinas Pendidikan terhadap kegiatan supervisi belum optimal, (c) hakekat supervisi belum dipahami oleh semua guru sehingga kegiatan supervisi kadangkala diartikan sebagai upaya mencari kelemahan guru, (d) guru-guru yang memiliki masa kerja lama atau hampir pensiun tidak terlalu peduli terhadap peningkatan kinerja dan pengembangan profesinya.

Abstract

Human resources become the main key in realizing quality education. This study aims to (1) Know the Work Motivation relationship with Teacher Performance SMP Negeri Babahrot Aceh Barat Daya; (2) Determine the relationship Supervising Principal Teacher Performance SMP Negeri Babahrot Aceh Barat Daya; (3) Knowing relationship Work Motivation and Supervision Principal with teacher performance SMP Negeri Babahrot Aceh Barat Daya. This research uses quantitative approach. Which became a population of 891 students and 85 teachers, the samples were 208 students and 65 teachers at SMP Negeri Babahrot Aceh Barat Daya. In changing the data used Method of Successive Interval  and analyze data used SPSS application. Results of the study are (1) There is a correlation between motivation and performance of SMP Negeri Babahrot Aceh Barat Daya value test results for 0,579 on the S ig (2-tailed) = 0,000; (2) There is a strong correlation between principal supervision and performance SMP Negeri Babahrot Aceh Barat Daya with test result value of 0.722 on sig (2-tailed) = 0,000; (3) The correlation coefficient test (R) shows the value of 0.753 which means work motivation and supervision gives 75.3% influence on teacher performance improvement. While the rest of 24.7% influenced by other things. So the performance of teachers is strongly influenced by Work Motivation and Headmaster Supervision. Abstract

Education financing and contribution to education financing at the Course and Training Institute (LKP) at LKP Uswatun Hasanah is carried out through the implementation of management functions, namely planning, implementation, supervision and accountability. This study aims to determine the planning, use, supervision, and financial accountability at LKP Uswatun Hasanah in Aceh Besar District. The research approach is descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies as well as data analysis techniques used including data reduction activities, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. Research subjects are LKP leaders, secretaries, instructors and treasurers of financial management management at LKP Uswatun Hasanah, Aceh Besar District. The results of the study show: (1) Program planning is carried out based on technical instructions for meeting 8 national education standards as a reference by involving the LKP Treasurer and secretary, and the lack of instructor involvement in the planned budgeting process, (2) The use of government assistance and student tuition funds is implemented. in accordance with the technical instructions and the planned program, (3) Supervision of the use of government assistance funds and student tuition funds is carried out by the head of the institution, the Education Office and the inspectorate. Supervision is carried out by comparing the planned program with its implementation, and (4) accountability for the use of funds has been carried out with the treasurer and secretary of the institution.

The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include supervisors, principals, and teachers at SMPN 1 Susoh and SMPN 1 Setia. The results showed that: (1) Planning for teacher performance appraisal is carried out at the end of the academic year involving school supervisors, principals, senior teachers, subject teachers, and the school quality development team. Planning includes evaluating teacher discipline, reviewing learning administration, and teacher performance improvement programs. (2) The implementation of teacher performance appraisal is carried out annually by supervisors and principals by evaluating teacher reports, checking attendance, teaching administration, and implementing strategies for discipline development and teacher competency improvement. (3) Supervision of teacher performance appraisal is carried out by principals and supervisors in monitoring problems, discipline, and the availability of teacher instruments to improve professionalism and education quality. (4) Supporting factors for teacher performance appraisal include teacher qualifications, skills, motivation and personality, while inhibiting factors include curriculum changes, limited infrastructure, and time management that is not yet optimal.

Abstract

This study explores the management of IT-based learning at SMP Negeri Unggul Tunas Nusa and SMP Negeri 1 Blangpidie in Southwest Aceh Regency, focusing on the strategies employed in planning, implementation, evaluation, and overcoming challenges associated with integrating technology into educational practices. Through qualitative methods, including observations, interviews, and document analysis, the research unveils how both institutions have successfully navigated the complexities of incorporating IT into their curricula, highlighting the pivotal role of school leadership in fostering an environment conducive to digital learning. The findings reveal that strategic planning forms the cornerstone of effective IT-based learning, with both schools demonstrating comprehensive approaches to integrating technology through collaborative decision-making and program development. Implementation efforts have transformed the educational experience, making learning more engaging and interactive through the use of diverse technological tools and platforms. Continuous evaluation is emphasized to ensure the alignment of IT-based learning initiatives with educational objectives, enabling timely adjustments and optimizations. Despite the progress, challenges persist, including limited resources, varying levels of teacher IT proficiency, and inconsistent internet access, necessitating ongoing support, training, and infrastructural improvements. The study concludes that the deliberate and thoughtful management of IT-based learning at SMP Negeri Unggul Tunas Nusa and SMP Negeri 1 Blangpidie serves as a model for other educational institutions seeking to embrace the benefits of technology in education. The commitment to leveraging IT for enhancing teaching and learning processes underscores the potential of technology to revolutionize education, preparing students for the demands of the digital age.
