Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of adding kiapu mixture and recurrent rice straw to the growth and yield of second period wetland rice. The design used was RAK, the treatment (R1 + = 100% kiapu; R2 + = 75% kiapu + 25% rice straw; R3 + = 50% kiapu + 50% rice straw; R4 + = 25% kiapu + 75% rice straw ; R5 + = 100% rice straw) plus NPK treatment and control. The results showed that the Kiapu mixture compost R1 + had an average variable growth of 96.58 cm, the number of leaves was 236.17 pot -1, the number of tillers was 55.83 pot-1, leaf area was 9646 , 07 cm2, total root length of 606.28 cm and the highest yield of grain weight per hectare of 9.67 tons ha-1 was better than all treatments.Key words: Kiapu, rice straw, lowland rice

Abstract

Pagoda mustard plant (Brassica narinosa L.) is a plant of the brassicaceae family that has a beautiful shape. In increasing the growth and yield of organic pesticide-free mustard greens, one of them is by providing liquid organic fertilizer. Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) of golden snail meat which contains nitrogen and banana weevil which contais phosphate are organic materials that can be used for organic liquid fertilizer needed by vegetable plants. The purpose of giving liquid organic fertilizer in this research was to determine the effect of growth and yield of pagoda mustard plants, to find out the best results between the two types of liquid organic fertilizers and to obtain the optimal dose obtained at the dose of the two liquid organic fertilizer. The design used in this research was a 2 factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor is the type of LOF material (Golden snail meat and banana weevil), the second factor is the dose of LOF given (50ml/polybag, 100ml/polybag, 150ml/polybag and 200ml/polybag). The result of reseacrh on the growth of the pagoda mustard plant showed that the combination of P1D4 (Golden Snail Liquid Fertilizer 200ml) gave the best result at the 28 dap in the number leaves obtained. On harvesting the pagoda mustard plants separately, the LOF at D4 (200ml/polybag) had a significant difference with the others. Between the application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) gold snail and banan weevil did not show a significant difference between the two ingredients.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of a mixture of compost and straw kiapu various compositions giving rest The first planting period on growth and yield of rice paddy second period. The design used is simple RAK, treatment (R1- + = 100% standard; R2- + = 75% + 25% standard rice straw; DIR3 + 50% + 50% standard rice straw; R4- + = 25% kiapu + 75% straw; R5- + = 100% straw) plus NPK treatment and control , The results showed the growth of rice on average in the rest of the grant 50% + 50% standard rice straw (long crop of96.08cm, number of leaves most 270.50strands, number of tillers 67.33 tillers and leaf area 11347.09 cm2) and best treatment DIR3 production (50% Pistia + 50% straw) with a dry weight of panicle 106.67 g.pot-1 and weighed 8:53 ton.ha weight per ha-1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding peanut stover compost and straw in various compositions to the growth and yield of upland rice. The study was conducted in February to June 2018 in the plastic house of Losari Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. The composting process was carried out at the Composite Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Malang. The results showed the growth of average upland rice on 100% peanut stover compost (plant length of 104.10 cm, number of tillers 37.33 tillers and leaf area of 9010.02 cm2) and the best production of K3 treatment (50% stover soil + 50% rice straw) with grain weight of 6.19 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Broccoli is widely cultivated throughout the world, and thrives in areas with cold climates. Broccoli contains several vitamins including vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B6 and E. And contains elements of Ca, Mg, Zn, and Fe and antioxidants. The study was conducted for 4 months, starting from May to September 2019. The research was carried out in the farmers' land of Jalan Tlogo Warna Block C, Tlogomas Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang. Altitude ± 900 meters above sea level, average temperature of 240C. 2000-3000 rainfall / year. This research was conducted using a factorial randomized block design with first factor control: POC concentration in rabbit urine consisted of 3 levels, namely P1 = 50 ml / L POC rabbit urine, P2 = 100 ml / L POC rabbit urine, P3 = 150 ml / L POC rabbit urine. The second factor is the variety of broccoli seed varieties used consisting of 2 levels, namely V1 = Green Broccoli Varieties GREEN MAGIC, V2 = White Broccoli Varieties BIMA 45Of the two factors obtained 6 treatment combinations so that a total of 7 treatments plus control. Each treatment was repeated 3 times using 5 samples for each treatment. Treatment combination K = control, P1V1 = 50 ml / L POC rabbit urine green broccoli varieties GREEN MAGIC, P1V2 = 50 ml / L POC rabbit urine white rabbit varieties BIMA 45, P2V1 = 100ml / L POC urine rabbit varieties green broccoli GREEN MAGIC, P2V2 = 100ml / L POC rabbit urine white broccoli varieties BIMA 45, P3V1 150 ml / L POC rabbit urine green broccoli varieties GREEN MAGIC, P3V2 150 ml / L POC rabbit urine white broccoli varieties BIMA 45The results of research that has been carried out rabbit urine POC application is based on analysis of statistical data showing that the best concentration of rabbit urine POC is in the treatment application of rabbit urine POC 150 ml / l. Because the treatment is different from other treatments so that the POC of rabbit urine 150ml / l has higher nutrient content than the other concentrations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growht and uptake of potassium nutrient due to the provision of two kinds of compost from agricultural waste at different doses. The design used Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with control. The first factor was the kinds of compost (P1= Peanut stack and P2= Sugar cane leaf litter) and the second factor was the application dose (D1= 5 ton.ha-1, D2= 10 ton.ha-1, D3= 15 ton.ha-1 dan D4= 20 ton.ha-1) and control. The results showed that giving two kinds of compost form agricultural waste with different dose did not have a significant effect on growth but showed a significant effect on total potassium uptake and optimum dose at total potassium uptake is P1 12,46 ton.ha-1 and P2 10,73 ton.ha-1.

Abstract

The ability of spinach extract (is needed to help the effectiveness of the phytoremediation process undertaken. The use of EDTA as a chelating agent that can increase the mobility of metals in the soil leading to plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of EDTA doses and the timing of administration of the ability of spinach to pull (Amaranthus tricolor L.) in translating Pb metal. Field experiments using a Randomized Block Design (RCBD) arranged factorial with a control with three replications. The first factor EDTA dose, EDTA dose P1 = 3 gr and P2 = 6 gr. The second factor when giving EDTA, W1 = 7 dbt, W2 = 7 dat and W3 = 14 dat. The results showed that there was a real interaction between EDTA dose and time of EDTA administration. the treatment of P1W2 (EDTA dose 3 gr + 7 dat ) results in good growth changes in the parameters of observation of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, total root length, total chlorophyll, and total concentration of lead metal absorbed as much 619.48 ppm

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the effect of applying VP3 organic fertilizer with compost and vermiwash on the production of green bean plants and to determine the effect of applying VP3 organic fertilizer with compost and vermiwash compared to the combined organic fertilizer. with compost and NPK fertilizer in the production of green bean plants. planted in the field. This investigation was carried out on dry land located in the residential area of Bumi Asri, Dau district, Malang. In addition to the Basic Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Malang Islamic University, from June to August 2019. The research design used was a simple randomized complete design (RBD) consisting of 8 treatments and was repeated 3 times. The study results showed that the treatment of the biological fertilizer VP3 combined with 75% NPK tended to provide the highest average yield in the production of mung bean crops, but not significantly different from the treatment of the biological fertilizer VP3 combined with 75% and 100% vermiwash.

Abstract

Melon cultivation can be planted either conventionally or hydroponically (without soil). Along with the narrowing of productive agricultural land and decreasing soil quality,it encourages farmers to cultivate melons with a hydroponic system. There are various kinds of hydroponic media using inorganic fertilizers for melon cultivation, but it is still rarely found using organic fertilizers for hydroponic melon cultivation. This study developed a soilless cultivation system using vermicompost organic fertilizer. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of vermicompost application method and dosage on the growth and yield of melon plants which are planted hydraulically. This experiment used a factorial randomized block design with controls. Factor 1 of the vermicompost application method consists of two levels, namely M1 = 100% solid vermicompost immersed, M2 = 50% solid vermicompost immersed and 50% vermicompost thawed. Factor 2 doses of vermicompost consist of four levels, namely V1 = 200 grams, V2 = 400 grams, V3 = 600 grams, and V4 = 800 grams per polybag, plus control treatment using inorganic fertilizers. The results showed that the interaction between the application method and vermicompost dose significantly affected the growth and yield of melons. The best treatment combination is the application of 100% solid vermicompost at a dose of 800 g / polybag with plant height growth of 173.94 cm, number of leaves 25.33, and leaf area 2445.51 cm2. The results were achieved for fruit weights 601.11 g / plant and fruit diameter 10.19 cm / plant. The results of this study suggest that the application of 100% solid vermicompost can be used as a nutrient source in the cultivation of hydro-organic melon plants.

Abstract

The third most important food crop in the world after rice and wheat is potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) (CIP, 2010). tuber plants that are rich in carbohydrates and their needs continue to increase. The addition of ZPT such as auxin and gibberellin is one of the superior techniques for procuring potato seeds because it accelerates cell division and elongation, regulates the growth of roots, stems, and fruit. This study aims to determine the effect of ZPT (growth regulator) auxin and gibberellin on plant growth and yield. This research was conducted in the screen house of Sumber Brantas village. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) with the treatment given, among other things, P0: without giving ZPT, PI. giving ZPT gibberellin 10ml / l liter of water, P2: giving ZPT auxin 10ml / l liter of water, P3: giving ZPT 5ml auxin * 5ml gibberellin / l liter of water. The parameters observed were: stem height, stem diameter, number of stems, number of leaves, number of tubers, fresh weight of plant tubers, tuber diameter of the plant. The results of this study indicate that the P3 treatment (giving ZPT auxin 5inl and gibberellin 5ml / liter of water) gave the best results on plant growth and crop yield with tuber diameter yields of 21.56 mm. There is a tuber 3.67 grams, fresh weight 29.46 grams.
