Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan: (1) mengedukasi masyarakat terutama anak dan remaja tentang literasi digital; (2) menjadikan pendidikan literasi digital sebagai program pengembangan kemampuan menyaring informasi secara akurat bagi masyarakat; dan (3) meningkatkan kompetensi pemanfaatan digital, sehingga mampu memahami dan memaknai konten digital serta mengkomunikasikannya dengan penggunaan alat yang tepat. Upaya ini dilakukan sesuai dengan permasalahan mitra, di antaranya: (1) minimnya pemahaman anak dan remaja dalam menggunakan teknologi secara tepat, dan (2) minimnya pemahaman masyarakat pada penggunaan teknologi berdasarkan UU ITE. Solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra antara lain: (1) melaksanakan penyuluhan terkait pendidikan literasi digital pada masyarakat; (2) melaksanakan penyuluhan tentang UU ITE; dan (3) pendampingan pada anak dan remaja dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara tepat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui empat tahapan, antara lain: (1) persiapan; (2) pelaksanaan; (3) monitor dan evaluasi; dan (4) tindak lanjut. Hasil program pendampingan sebagai berikut: (1) masyarakat dapat terlibat langsung dalam mengurangi resiko penggunaan teknologi secara tidak tepat pada anak dan remaja melalui peran aktif orang tua dan keluarga, (2) masyarakat terutama anak dan remaja memiliki kesiapan dalam aktivitasnya bersama teknologi, dan menjadikan teknologi sebagai media dalam menggali potensi, menambah pengetahuan, serta membuka cakrawala berpikir, dan berkreasi sebagai sarana pengembangan diri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penarapan model IMPRECI dalam menghasilkan calon guru dan pembimbing reflektif dalam PPL PPG Prajabatan di Universitas Negeri Medan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk pencapaian visi PPG Prajabatan yang salah satunya adalah menghasilkan kemampuan reflektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berkelanjutan dengan pendekatan Collaborative Nested Action Research (C-NAR). Dalam implementasinya, di samping mahasiswa melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam proses pembelajaran, dosen dan guru pamong melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam proses pembimbingan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan pendokumentasian. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, dan daftar centang dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data uji lapangan dianalisis dengan skor dan dijelaskan secara kualitatif/pengkategorian. Data uji lapangan/uji dianalisis dengan analisis data kualitatif model alir mulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data, hingga pada penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian dengan uji coba 3 siklus pembelajaran menunjukkan skor ketuntasan 91,30% (mahasiswa 1) dengan kategori Sangat Baik, 86,67% (mahasiswa 2) dengan kategori Sangat Baik, dan 95,23% (mahasiswa 3) dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Berdasarkan data ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa PTK berkelanjutan dengan pendekatan C-NAR berupa pembimbingan reflektif menggunakan model IMPRECI berhasil dilakukan pada PPL PPG Prajabatan di Universitas Negeri Medan.Keywords: C-NAR, IMPRECI, guru reflektif, PPG Prajabatan

Abstract

AbstractThis mentoring program aims to improve teacher competency in utilizing educational teaching aids (APE) at the PAUD Seroja Desa Ara Payung. The stages of activities carried out through the mentoring program include: (1) mentoring the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in PAUD, (2) mentoring on how to make educational teaching aids in PAUD, (3) mentoring how to use teaching aids in PAUD learning, (4) simulation in the form of lesson study on the use of educational teaching aids in PAUD, (5) open class/real teaching using educational teaching aids in PAUD learning, (6) monitoring and evaluation, and (7) follow-up. Based on the stages of the activities carried out, teacher competency can be improved in terms of formulation of the lesson plan, the making of educational teaching aids, and their effective use in learning in PAUD. Specific targets and outcomes generated through the mentoring program include: (1) the module for making educational teaching aids in PAUD learning, (2) educational teaching aids based on themes in PAUD learning, (3) teachers using educational teaching aids that will documented in the form of learning videos, (4) scientific publications in online ISSN journals and mass media. The method of implementing assistance is carried out through several stages, including (1) preparation, (2) implementation, (3) monitoring and evaluation, and (4) follow-up. With the method used, it is able to improve teacher competencies related to the use of educational teaching aids in the learning process effectively in PAUD.Keywords: Educative Teaching Aids, Teacher Competence, PAUD.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide children with an understanding of utilizing plastic bottles for planting media containers at the Kotta Cinna Site Museum and to implement an attitude of caring for the environment towards elementary school children living around the Kotta Cinna Site Museum. Solutions to overcome partner problems include: (1) Providing skills that can be personally useful and have new, more creative creations for elementary school children. (2) Empowering elementary school children to be more skilled, able to work and produce a product from recycled plastic bottles. The method of implementing the activity is carried out through 4 stages, including: (1) Preparation: environmental observation (initial mapping), discussion of problems, and determination of problem solutions; (2) Implementation: implementing a mentoring program; (3) Monitoring and Evaluation: evaluation of the process and results of the mentoring program; and (4) Follow-up: developing a mentoring program in other aspects and on a wider scale. The results of the community service program that have been implemented are as follows: (1) The average success of student understanding as a whole from the 10 questions asked is 95.02% with the Very Good category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the level of success of the PKM program implemented when measured based on the level of understanding of elementary school children is in the very good category, meaning that it can be understood very well by all elementary school children who participate in the activity as a whole, so through this PKM activity, the Utilization of Plastic Bottles as Planting Media Containers to Reduce the Impact of Environmental Pollution is believed to be able to eliminate waste and air pollution at the Situ Kotta Cinna Museum. (2) This PKM activity in the Utilization of Plastic Bottles as Planting Media Containers to Reduce the Impact of Environmental Pollution can change elementary school children to care about the environment so that they become wise in utilizing plastic bottle waste in the environment. Thus, elementary school students have widely actualized actions that are beneficial to themselves and the surrounding environment in their daily lives at the Situ Kotta Cinna Museum.

Abstract

This service program aims: (1) To provide teachers with an understanding of strengthening reading and writing literacy through picture story-based wall magazines. (2) To implement strengthening reading and writing literacy through picture story-based wall magazines in elementary schools. Solutions to overcome partners' problems include: (1) Carrying out outreach to teachers about reading and writing literacy through the development of picture story-based media (2) Teachers are asked to observe and listen to reading and writing literacy activities through the development of picture story-based media (3) Holding discussion sessions and brainstorming with teachers about what they observe regarding reading and writing literacy activities through developing picture story-based media, and (4) Providing motivation to teachers about the importance of reading and writing literacy activities through developing picture story-based media for elementary school students. The method for implementing activities is carried out through 4 stages, including: (1) Preparation, (2) Implementation, (3) Monitoring and Evaluation, (4) Follow-up. The results of the service program that has been implemented are as follows: (1) The overall success category for teacher understanding is classified as good, meaning that the content of the material as a whole can be understood well by the teacher, so through this PkM activity, literacy is strengthened through the development of illustrated story-based media in elementary schools. It is believed that teachers can teach it well to students in elementary schools. (2) The mechanism of the activity, namely strengthening literacy through the development of picture-based media in elementary schools, can be concluded that the teachers of SDN Number 066650 can teach all subjects wisely using the development of picture-story-based media. In this way, teachers at SDN Number 066650 have broadly been able to actualize strengthening reading and writing literacy through picture story-based wall magazines at SDN Number 066650.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of the 5F-based Self-Reflection model (Fact, Feeling, Finding, Future, Framework) in improving the reflective ability of pre-service teachers in elementary schools. This model is designed to assist pre-service teachers in evaluating and improving their teaching practices through structured reflection. This study uses the Collaborative Nested Action Research (C-NAR) approach by involving 20 pre-service teacher students during teaching practice at partner schools. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation to assess the impact of these models on the development of their reflective abilities. The results show that the 5F-based Self-reflection model significantly helps pre-service teachers in improving the quality of teaching and classroom dynamics. Through reflection, teachers can identify learning challenges, design more innovative teaching strategies, and plan improvements for the future. This model has proven to be effective in improving student engagement, better time management, and a deeper understanding of the material. This research contributes to the development of a structured reflection model for teacher education. These findings show that the application of this model can significantly improve the competence of pre-service teachers. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impact of this model and its application to other educational contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Collaborative Nested Action Research (C-NAR) sebagai upaya menghasilkan guru adaptif di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitin ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas berkelanjutan dengan pendekatan C-NAR. Dalam pelaksanaannya, selain guru melakukan perbaikan perkelanjutan dalam pembelajaran, dosen dan guru pamong melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam pembimbingan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Data penelitian dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan model alir mulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data, hingga pada penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan C-NAR mampu menghasilkan guru yang adaptif di sekolah dasar sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0. Dengan demikian, pendekatan C-NAR layak dipertimbangkan sebagai pendekatan mutakhir dalam menghasilkan guru adaptif di SD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran daring di Universitas Haji Sumatera Utara Semester Ganjil T.A 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ada 132 orang mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk google form dan diisi secara daring oleh mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dideskripsikan sebagai berikut: (1) aspek proses pembelajaran diperoleh persentase respon mahasiswa sebesar 87.36% dengan kategori Sangat Baik; (2) aspek kapabilitas (kompetensi dosen) diperoleh persentase respon mahasiswa sebesar 89.80% dengan kategori Sangat Baik; (3) aspek sarana dan prasarana diperoleh persentase respon mahasiswa sebesar 82.12% dengan kategori Baik; (4) aspek tantangan dan kendala, diperoleh temuan bahwa tantangan dominan mengharuskan peningkatan keterampilan IT (38.6%); mengharuskan keefektifan dalam manajemen waktu (30.3%); menambah wawasan/pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran daring (18.9%); dan meningkatkan kesadaran bahwa belajar daring bermanfaat untuk diri sendiri (10.6%). Sementara, kendala dominan yang dialami mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring yaitu: keterbatasan jaringan/akses internet (54.5%), banyaknya pengeluaran biaya untuk paket internet dan bahan kuliah (25.8%), dan kurangnya kerja sama dengan mahasiswa lain (10.6%).
