Abstract

AbstrakKajian ini ditujukan untuk mengeksplorasi capaian pelaksanaan rehabilitasi terumbu karang melalui kolaborasi terumbu buatan dan transplantasi karang di Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung Kota Padang. Program ini diinisisasi oleh CSR PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) MOR I – Teluk Kabung berlandaskan fakta bahwa kondisi terumbu karang di daerah ini mulai mengalami degradasi lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh perubahan alam dan ulah tangan manusia yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Metode yang digunakan pada program ini dilihat dari 2 aspek, yaitu pembuatan media substrat dan pengambilan biofisik sebagai pendukung ekologi manfaat terumbu buatan. Hasil rehabilitasi terumbu karang melalui kolaborasi terumbu buatan dan transplantasi karang menunjukkan beberapa hal, antara lain: (1) terumbu buatan banyak ditumbuhi biota lainnya seperti, biofulling dan teritip dan lili laut; (2) di sekitar terumbu buatan, dijumpai rekuitment karang-karang yang mulai berkembang dengan ukuran yang masih kecil dan meningkat percent covernya dari 1,33% menjadi 2,19%; (3) keberadaan ikan pada terumbu buatan semakin meningkat; dan (4) terumbu buatan dihuni oleh ikan-ikan berekonomis tinggi seperti kerapu,bibir tebal, dan sering dijumpai gerombolan ikan ekor kuning sehingga tujuan utama terumbu buatan terpenuhi yaitu sebagai fishing ground masyarakat di sekitarnya. Berdasarkan data itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa program rehabilitasi terumbu karang melalui kolaborasi terumbu buatan dan transplantasi karang di Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung Kota Padang berhasil dilakukan dengan baik sebagai upaya menjaga kelangsungan ekosistem laut di sekitar terumbu karang.Kata kunci: Rehabilitasi, Terumbu Karang, Terumbu Buatan, Transplantasi Karang, Teluk KabungAbstractThe aims of the study is to explore outcomes resulted from the implementation of the coral reefs rehabilitation combining attempts in transplanting artificial reefs and coral in Sub-District of Bungus Teluk Kabung at Padang City. The initiative was taken in place supported by the CSR of PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) MOR I – Teluk Kabung based on the fact that the condition of coral reefs in this area began to experience environmental degradation caused by natural changes and irresponsible human hands. The method used in this program is seen from two aspects, namely the manufacture of substrate media and biophysical retrieval as an ecological support for the benefits of artificial reefs. The results of the rehabilitation of coral reefs through collaboration of artificial reefs and coral transplants show several things, including: (1) artificial reefs are overgrown with other biota such as biofulling and barnacles and sea lilies; (2) in the vicinity of artificial reefs, a number of coral reefs began to develop with a small size and the percentage cover increased from 1.33% to 2.19%; (3) the presence of fish on artificial reefs is increasing; and (4) artificial reefs inhabited by high-economic fish such as groupers, thick lips, and often found yellow-tailed fish hordes so that the main purpose of artificial reefs is fulfilled, namely as fishing ground for the surrounding community. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the coral reef rehabilitation program through collaboration of artificial reefs and coral transplants in Bungus Teluk Kabung District, Padang City was successfully carried out as an effort to maintain the sustainability of marine ecosystems around coral reefs.Keywords: Rehabilitation, Coral Reefs, Artificial Reefs, Coral Transplants, Teluk Kabung

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran tematik sebagai upaya optimalisasi implementasi kurikulum 2013 di SD Kec. Deli Tua Kab. Deli Serdang. Telah diketahui bersama bahwa pembelajaran tematik merupakan salah satu amanat dari implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada jenjang SD. Oleh sebab itu, kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran tematik mutlak diperlukan. Menyikapi hal itu, telah dilakukan pendampingan dalam rangka penguatan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran tematik pada jenjang SD di Kec. Deli Tua Kab. Deli Serdang. Metode pendampingan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap kegiatan, antara lain: persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi, serta tindak lanjut. Luaran yang telah dihasilkan berdasarkan program pendampingan antara lain: buku panduan pembelajaran tematik berdasarkan kurikukulum 2013 di SD dan guru model pembelajaran tematik di SD. Dengan demikian, program pendampingan yang telah dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran tematik sebagai upaya optimalisasi kurikulum 2013 di SD.Kata kunci: kompetensi guru, pembelajaran tematik, kurikulum 2013, SDAbstractThis activity aims to improve the competence of teachers in thematic learning as an effort to optimize the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SD Kec. Outcomes that have been generated based on mentoring programs include: thematic instruction manuals based on the curriculum of 2013 in elementary and teachers of thematic learning models in elementary schools. Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan “Corong Kabataku” sebagai media efektif pada pembelajaran berhitung di Sekolah Dasar (SD), khususnya di Kec. Medan Selayang Kota Medan. Hal ini dilakukan berdasarkan analisis permasalahan yang dialami mitra pada pembelajaran berhitung di SD, antara lain: (1) media yang digunakan guru hanya media gambar saja dan siswa hanya difasilitasi untuk mengamati, (2) guru belum mampu membuat alat peraga sendiri, di mana pada umumnya guru hanya menggunakan media-media yang sudah ada di sekolah dan diperoleh dengan cara dibeli, (3) guru umumnya menggunakan RPP yang langsung diadopsi dari internet tanpa menyesuaikan dengan kondisi di sekolahnya, dan (4) penilaian berhitung umumnya dilakukan berdasarkan hasil saja tanpa disertai dengan penilaian proses penemuannya. Solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra di atas antara lain: (1) pendampingan penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), (2) Pendampingan manajemen kelas, (3) pendampingan penilaian otentik, (4) pendampingan cara membuat media “Corong Kabataku”, (5) pendampingan cara menggunakan media “Corong Kabataku”, (6) simulasi dalam bentuk lesson study, (7) open class/real teaching penggunaan media “Corong Kabataku” pada pembelajaran berhitung, (8) monitoring dan evaluasi, dan (9) tindak lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, rata-rata tingkat keberhasilan program pengabdian adalah 88,5% dengan kualifikasi Sangat Baik (SB).Kata kunci: Corong Kabataku; Berhitung; Sekolah Dasar.AbstractThis service program aims to improve teacher competency in using the "Corong Kabataku" as an effective media in learning to count in elementary schools, especially in Kec. Medan Selayang, Medan. This is done based on an analysis of the problems experienced by partners in numeracy learning in elementary schools, including: (1) the media used by teachers are only drawing media and students are only facilitated to observe, (2) teachers have not been able to make their own teaching aids, where at teachers generally only use media that are already in school and are obtained by purchase, (3) teachers generally use lesson plans that are directly adopted from the internet without adjusting to the conditions in their schools, and (4) numeracy assessments are generally based on results alone without being accompanied with an assessment of the process of discovery. Solutions to the problems faced by the partners above include: (1) assistance in preparing Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), (2) Classroom management assistance, (3) authentic assessment assistance, (4) assistance in how to create a "Corong Kabataku" media, ( 5) mentoring how to use the "Corong Kabataku" media, (6) simulations in the form of lesson studies, (7) open class / real teaching use of the "Kabataku Funnel" media in numeracy learning, (8) monitoring and evaluation, and (9) actions continued. Based on the results of the analysis, the average success rate of service programs is 88.5% with Very Good qualifications.Keywords: Corong Kabataku; Counting; Elementary School.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran inovatif dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Kecamatan Medan Selayang Kota Medan. Kemampuan mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran inovatif dalam pembelajaranmemerlukan keterampilan khusus dalam penerapannya. Menyikapi hal itu, dilakukan pendampingan kepada para guru agar mampu mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran inovatif secara efektif sesuai tuntutan pembelajaran di SD. Metode pendampingan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap kegiatan, antara lain: persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi, serta tindak lanjut. Luaran yang dihasilkan melalui program pendampingan antara lain: buku panduan model pembelajaran inovatif di SD, guru model pengintegrasian model pembelajaran inovatif, dan artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal ber-ISSN online. Hasil program pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran inovatif dalam pembelajaran di SD Kecamatan Medan Selayang Kota Medan. Dengan demikian,  pendampingan yang dilakukan telah berjalan secara efektif dan sesuaidengan hasil yang diharapkan.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran inovatif, guru model, SD AbstractThis mentoring program aims to improve the ability of teachers in integrating innovative learning models in learning in elementary school (SD) Kecamatan Medan Selayang Medan. The ability to integrate innovative learning models in learning requires specific skills in their application. Responding to that, done by the teachers to be able to integrate innovative learning model effectively according to the demand of learning in elementary school. Methods of assistance are conducted through several stages of activity, including: preparation, implementation, evaluation and reflection, and follow-up. Outcomes generated through the mentoring program include: an innovative learning model guidebook in elementary school, teacher model of integrating innovative learning model, and scientific article published in ISSN online journal. The results of the devotion program indicate that the increasing ability of teachers in integrating innovative learning models in learning in SD Medan Selayang Sub-district Medan. Thus, the assistance performed has been run effectively and in accordance with the expected results.Keywords: innovative learning model, model teacher, elementary school

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of online learning for the even semester 2020/2021 Language Studies course in the PGSD FIP UNIMED study program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The population used in this study were all second semester students who took the Language Studies course at the PGSD FIP UNIMED Study Program. Samples were taken involving 187 respondents. The instrument used in the study was an online questionnaire with a google form. The data analysis technique was carried out by qualitative analysis with 4 stages of activities, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) the average score of the teaching and learning process is 4.11 (Good), (2) the average score of capability/competence of lecturers is 4.28 (Good), (3) the average score of supporting facilities and infrastructure is 3 ,93 (Good), and (4) the most dominant challenge is the need to improve IT skills and effectiveness in time management.Keywords: online learning, language studies, PGSD.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of PGSD students on the implementation of KKNIbased curriculum at Medan State University (Unimed). The research study focused on the implementation of 6 KKNI tasks, namely: routine task, Critical Book Report (CBR), Critical Journal Review (CJR), idea engineering, project, and mini research. This research is a descriptive quantitative research, by taking sample of research from Unimed student of PGSD as much as 240 people. Data were collected by using observation and questionnaire, then analyzed by using descriptive statistic. Outcomes resulting from the results of this study include: (1) research reports that contribute to the direction of policy courses and faculty in running KKNI in the future, (2) national journals with ISSN online that contribute to the development of science, especially related with the implementation of KKNI in Higher Education, and (3) recommendation of institutional policy toward the implementation of KKNI in the future. The result of the research shows that the perception of PGSD students on the implementation of KKNI is 3.33 (83.25%) with Good category. That is, PGSD students have a good perception on the implementation of KKNI in Universitas Negeri Medan.  Keywords : perception, PGSD, curriculum, KKNI

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the implementation of the continuous mentoring process as an effort to produce students, Field Supervisors (DPL), and Civil Service Teachers (GP) who are reflective in the implementation of PPL PPG Prajabatan at UNIMED. The type of research used is Collaborative Nested Action Research (C-NAR). In its implementation, in addition to guiding and being directly involved in Class Action Research (PTK) conducted by students, DPL and GP also conduct Guidance Action Research (PTB) to find the best sustainable ways or innovations in carrying out mentoring. The results showed that through the C-NAR, students, DPL, and GP PPG Prajabatan have succeeded in carrying out various continuous improvements in mentoring, among others. (1) exemplifying interactive learning patterns by GP virtually even though they are not from partner schools, (2) developing supplementary learning tools in the form of interactive teaching materials, interactive media, interactive worksheets, and interactive quizzes as interactive learning resources for students, and (3 ) facilitate parents with guidebooks for using supplementary teaching materials so that they are helpful in guiding students to study at home.

Abstract

The low participation in children's education and the high drop out rate were social problems for the community in Tanjung Pura City. There fore, Pelita reading park was established as an effort to solve this problem. However, in its operation there were several problems faced including: 1) the lack of ability and knowledge of managers in the management of reading park documentation, 2) the service was still manual, 3) most of the dominant reading park activities were in the form of reading books and story telling, 4) the absence of mobile facilities. to be used as a means of service and mobile socialization, 5). lack of facilities and infrastructure. 6) limited used of information technology. The solutions offered were in the form of: assisting partners in building management of reading park based on information systems, designing tools (gerobak pintar) and preparing reading park development programs. The method of activity carried out is mentoring partners to improve the management of reading park so that they have the ability to manage reading park based on information technology and design tools in the form of smart carts. The results of this activity were 1) There was an increase in commitment and a sense of shared responsibility between the manager and the surrounding community as indicated by the increase in the number of the management team to 11 people, 2) an increase in the expertise and skills of partners in reading park documentation management. 3) the availability of gerobak pintar suitable for storing collections of reading materials, 4) the existence of an application system for managing collections of reading [ark based on information technology and 5) increasing public interest in using the Pelita reading park as a means of learning and reading.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan inovasi pembimbingan dengan menggunakan model IMPRECI (Introduction, Modelling, Practice, Reflection, and Innovation) sebagai upaya menghasilkan calon guru reflektif di SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas berkelanjutan dengan menggunakan pendekatan C-NAR (Collaborative Nested Action Research). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan pendokumentasian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket, lembar observasi, dan daftar centang dokumentasi. Data uji lapangan dianalisis dengan skor dan dijelaskan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemudahan penggunaan model IMPRECI menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 3.67 dengan kategori Sangat Praktis dan tingkat efektivitas pembimbingan menggunakan model IMPRECI dikategori Sangat Efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas e-module berbasis budaya lokal Sumatera Utara pada matakuliah Keterampilan Berbahasa dan Apresiasi Sastra Indonesia SD. Melalui e-module ini, mahasiswa dari luar Sumatera Utara memperoleh pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru terkait budaya lokal yang ada di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan  observasi dan tes uji keberhasilan belajar mahasiswa (uji efektivitas). Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas e-module dari aspek mahasiswa diperoleh rata-rata 81,57% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Sementara, ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa minimal dengan nilai B mencapai 90,27%.
