Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource (HR) management in supporting the tourism potential and attractions in Gampong Cinta Raja Tourism Village, Langsa City. The research objects include the village's main potentials in the form of migratory bird ecotourism, mangrove areas, and thorny pandan crafts, which are the identity of the community's creative economy. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the IFAS, EFAS, and SWOT matrices. The results show that the village has strengths in the form of community support, the active role of Pokdarwis, and unique natural potential that can attract tourists. However, weaknesses were found such as minimal HR managerial skills, less than optimal digital promotion, and limited tourism facilities. Development opportunities are obtained from government support and the increasing trend of nature tourism, while threats include competition from other tourism villages and environmental factors that affect the sustainability of migratory bird attractions. This study recommends increasing human resource capacity, strengthening digital promotion, improving tourism support facilities, and developing collaborations with the government, academics, and related communities to support the sustainability and competitiveness of Gampong Cinta Raja Tourism Village.

Abstract

Live commerce has become a strategic digital selling channel for skincare brands because it combines product visualization, real-time interaction, and direct transaction. However, prior live commerce studies still rely heavily on survey-based purchase intention, leaving limited evidence on whether platform-level live streaming metrics are associated with actual sales outcomes. This study examines the association between live commerce performance indicators and actual sales volume using secondary FastMoss data from 3,000 TikTok Shop live streaming sessions across ten leading skincare brands in Indonesia. The predictors include live viewers, live duration, product assortment, and creator followers, while brand fixed effects are used to control unobserved cross-brand heterogeneity. The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression with HC3 robust standard errors. The model explains 82.5% of sales volume variation. Live viewers, product assortment, live duration, and creator followers are positively and significantly associated with actual sales volume. The effect-size comparison shows that active viewers and product assortment have much stronger associations than creator followers. The findings suggest that live commerce conversion is more closely related to active audience presence and product relevance than to passive reach, while causal claims remain limited by the observational platform-data design.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Social Proof and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on impulsive buying behavior of skincare products and test the role of Self-Control as a moderating variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 240 social media users who have purchased skincare products. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, while data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on AMOS 25. The results showed that Social Proof had a significant effect on impulsive buying (C.R. = -2.052; p = 0.04), while FOMO had no significant effect on impulsive buying (C.R. = -0.544; p = 0.586). In addition, Self-Control was shown to moderate the relationship between Social Proof and impulsive buying (C.R. = 3.962; p < 0.001) and the relationship between FOMO and impulsive buying (C.R. = 3.867; p < 0.001). These findings suggest that the influence of user reviews, influencer recommendations, and social media trends can increase the tendency for impulsive buying, but good self-control skills can reduce the influence of these social and psychological stimuli. The contribution of this research lies in testing a model of digital consumer behavior in purchasing skincare products on social media by positioning self-control as a control mechanism in the relationship between social and psychological factors on impulsive buying. The results of this study provide implications for skincare industry players to develop more responsible marketing strategies, and for consumers to improve their self-control abilities when faced with intensive exposure to digital marketing content.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok Marketing and Online Customer Review on Generation Z purchase intention toward coffee shops in Medan City, Indonesia, while providing empirical evidence in the context of digital consumer behavior in the coffee shop industry. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, consisting of Generation Z consumers who had visited coffee shops in Medan, seen coffee shop promotions on TikTok, and read online customer reviews; the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The findings indicate that TikTok Marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (β = 0.458; p < 0.001), while Online Customer Review also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (β = 0.387; p < 0.001); both variables simultaneously explain 61% of the variation in purchase intention, suggesting that creative TikTok content functions as an initial stimulus that attracts consumer attention, whereas online reviews strengthen consumer trust before making a purchase decision, and these findings are consistent with the Theory of Planned Behavior and Information Adoption Model. In conclusion, the integration of TikTok Marketing and Online Customer Review is an effective digital marketing strategy for improving coffee shop competitiveness in Medan; therefore, coffee shop managers should optimize creative content and customer experience management to generate positive reviews, while future research is recommended to include additional variables such as brand image, store atmosphere, and influencer marketing with a broader sample coverage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational commitment on the performance of PT Asra Banda Aceh employees. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of causal associative research. The population in this study is all employees of PT Asra Banda Aceh, with a sampling technique using a saturated sampling method so that as many as 75 respondents were obtained. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the help of statistical software. The results of the study show that partially transformational leadership and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these two variables also had a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.68. This suggests that 68% of employee performance variations can be explained by transformational leadership and organizational commitment, while the rest are influenced by other factors outside of the study. This study concludes that transformational leadership and organizational commitment are important factors in improving employee performance. Therefore, organizations need to develop an inspiring leadership strategy and strengthen employee commitment to achieve optimal and sustainable performance..
