Abstract

Unemployment is a common problem faced by developing countries such as Indonesia. As one of the indicators of economic development, unemployment has a complex nature and has an impact on various aspects. This study was conducted to determine the conditions and variables that affect the unemployment rate in Indonesia from 2014-2023. The data analysis used is a dynamic panel data econometric model using Generalized Method Moments (GMM). This model was developed by Arellano Bond that meets the criteria of unbiased, valid, and consistent. The results of the analysis show that the variables of economic growth, human development index, average years of schooling, total population, foreign direct investment, domestic investment, and number of poor people have a significant effect on the unemployment rate. In addition, the unemployment rate in the previous period also had a significant effect on the unemployment rate in the period when the study was conducted. The findings in the study provide information on strategies to stabilize labor demand and supply, increase investment, and implement efficient short-run and long-run policies as an effort to reduce unemployment in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the model of Indonesia's economic growth in 2013-2022 with dynamic panel data through the SYS-GMM and FD-GMM approaches, so that the variables that influence short-term and long-term economic growth can be identified. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The data used comes from the Central Statistics Agency of 34 provinces in Indonesia 2013-2022. This study found that economic growth was significantly positively influenced by the variables of inflation, foreign investment, and household consumption. Economic growth is significantly negatively affected by domestic investment variables, regional minimum wages, and open unemployment rates. Inflation, foreign investment, and household consumption have short-term impacts on economic growth, while domestic investment, regional minimum wages, and the open unemployment rate have long-term impacts on economic growth. Research finds economic growth is influenced by the previous year. The policy implication is that the government focuses on factors that increase economic growth.

Abstract

Training on the utilization of household vegetable waste into liquid organic fertilizer in Bangle, Sukorame District, Lamongan Regency, aims to increase the awareness and skills of the younger generation in processing organic waste into useful products for agriculture. This program involves the collection of vegetable waste, a fermentation process with the help of EM4 (Effective Microorganisms 4), and the production of quality liquid fertilizer. Prior to the training, participants faced challenges in the form of a lack of knowledge about waste management and dependence on chemical fertilizers. After the training, participants demonstrated significant improvements in understanding and practical skills, with successful application of techniques that reduce waste, improve soil fertility and support plant growth. The success of the training is measured by the application of the techniques taught, positive changes in waste management habits, and tangible results in agriculture. Suggestions for improving program effectiveness include improving initial education, providing adequate facilities and equipment, ongoing support, and using technology. This training makes an important contribution to sustainable agricultural practices and environmentally friendly waste management.

Abstract

Accountability and transparency in the governance of Mojodelik Village, Gayam District, Bojonegoro Regency, are important aspects to realize effective and accountable village financial management. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 113 of 2014 concerning Village Financial Management, the concept of accountability is implemented through detailed and accurate financial reporting, including the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget and budget realization reports. Transparency is realized by publishing financial information through bulletin boards and village websites, and involving the community in development decision-making meetings. Although there are obstacles such as limited human resources and technology, and low community participation, the implementation of these principles aims to increase community trust and active participation in monitoring village financial management. Suggestions for increasing accountability and transparency include optimizing the use of information technology, regular training for village officials, and increasing socialization and community participation in the government process. These steps are expected to create a more open, responsive, and responsible governance system in Mojodelik Village.
