Conditions from the pandemic also have an impact on various sectors, for example Integrated Services Post. Purpose: To analyze relationship between anxiety mothers and participation Integrated Services Post during pandemic COVID-19. Methods: This study was a literature review approach (literature review) by a narrative literature review which discusses the relationship between maternal anxiety and participation in the Integrated Services Post under five during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data source used secondary data in the form of journal-based articles obtained through the Google Scholar database. The inclusion criteria of this research were the year of publication in the range of 2020 to 2022, publication in Indonesian and English, and original research and full text. Results: All of the entire literature can prove that there was an association between maternal anxiety and participation in the Integrated Services Post under five during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maternal anxiety was caused by factors of community attitudes and the surrounding environment. Conclusion: The concern that occurs in mothers is caused by fear if the child or himself is exposed to Covid-19 during a visit to the Integrated Services Post, because even though they have implemented health protocols, the attitude of other visitors who do not comply with health protocols makes them feel unsafe.

Abstract

Background: Diphtheria is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Corynebacterium diphtheriae that can be prevented by immunization. Purpose: The purpose of this research is analyze health problems in the PD3I surveillance program at the Madiun City PP & KB Health Service in 2023. Methods: This research is a descriptive observational research. Prioritize problems using methods of Capability, Accessibility, Readiness, Leverage (CARL). The priority of the problems found is to identify the causes of the problem using fishbone analysis. The root cause of the problem that is found will create alternative solutions to the problem. Results: Management of close contact chemoprophylaxis and re-immunization diphtheria with a CARL score of 400 is a top priority health problem in Madiun City. Four cases of diphtheria have been identified during the year 2023 for a period of six months (January-June 2023), so the next action is to administer chemoprophylaxis to close contacts. The provision of chemoprophylaxis in Madiun City still has problems, namely the activities of drug-taking supervisors who are not health workers and the behavior of dropping out of drug-taking in close contacts due to the side effects of the drug erythromycin. Recommendations: Health workers need to monitor medication supervisors who are not health workers online through WhatsApp groups. Promotion of taking erythromycin medication with meals or after meals to minimize side effects of erythromycin. Promotion of medication adherence in close contacts.

Abstract

Background: Based on UNAIDS data from 2019, Southeast Asia has 3.8 million of the world's HIV-positive people. In Asia, Indonesia has the fifth-highest risk of HIV/AIDS infection. According to the Madiun City Population Control and Family Planning Health Service, there will be 148 more HIV/AIDS cases in 2022, indicating a continued increase in cases. Analyzing the health issues with the HIV/AIDS Program at the Madiun City Population Control and Family Planning Health Service is the goal of this study. Method: This research is a descriptive study conducted during July–August 2023. Determining problem priorities using the Hanlon method and identifying the root causes of the problem. Primary data collection was carried out using the interview method, or in-depth interviews. Results: The results of determining problem priorities show that PLWHA who are new to ARV have not met the target of 95% and are based on the number of cases of PLWHA who are new to ARV from 2021, namely 29 cases and in 2022 there has been an increase of 43 cases. Identification of the root cause of the problem was carried out through interviews or in-depth interviews, that there were several factors that caused the occurrence of new PLWHA on ARVs, namely the low awareness of PLWHA to start treatment, the attitude of PLWHA who did not accept their HIV status so they did not want to start treatment and the lack of support from family/peer friends/ This is due to the lack of knowledge and information related to HIV/AIDS. Conclusion: This requires strengthening the mentoring program for PLWHA by providing assistance not only to PLWHA who have started treatment but all those who have been found to be immediately accompanied by NGOs, as well as involving local community leaders to promote anti-stigma.

Abstract

Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus. Indonesia has been an endemic country for dengue hemorrhagic fever since 1968. There are several factors related to the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever, one of which is the human factor and that is population density. Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between dengue hemorrhagic fever cases and population density in East Java Province in 2019-2020. Method: This study uses a cross-sectional design. The data used in this study are secondary data collected in 2019-2020from the province of East Java Health Profile. Data analysis used the Shapiro-Wilk test to determine the normality of the data and then the Spearman correlation test to determine the relationship between variables. Result: The result of Spearman correlation test between cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and the population density showed a correlation with P = 0.033 in 2019 and p = 0.007 in 2020 where p <0.05. The strength of the relationship shows a moderate relationship with a negative relationship direction, the correlation coefficient value = -0.348 in 2019 and the correlation coefficient = -0.429. If the population density increases, the case of dengue hemorrhagic fever will decrease. Conclusion: As a result of the research, there is a relationship between cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever and population density in East Java province in 2019-2020.

Abstract

Background: Diphtheria is a "re-emerging disease" because diphtheria cases had fallen in 1985 and increased again in 2005 when an outbreak occurred in East Java. Immunization coverage in the city of Surabaya has reached the target of > 95%, the incidence of measles still exists and has doubled in 2018. Objectives: Analyzing the distribution map of diphtheria incidence according to DPT-HB-Hib immunization coverage and population density in the city of Surabaya. Methods: This study uses a descriptive analytic type with a correlation study design. The population is 31 districts in the city of Surabaya. Data was taken from the Health Profile of the City of Surabaya in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Data processing used the Health Mapper application version 4.3.2 to analyze data descriptively. Results: The distribution of diphtheria incidence with immunization coverage and population density in the city of Surabaya in 2017, 2018 and 2019 shows that the incidence of diphtheria is fluctuating in 2019 with immunization coverage and population density increasing each year. Conclusions: The incidence of diphtheria in the city of Surabaya shows that every time there is a decrease in immunization coverage it tends to cause new cases and an increase in diphtheria cases in the area. Population density is one of the factors for the rapid transmission of diphtheria bacteria.
