Abstract

The gastrocnemius, soleus, and plantaris are the three primary muscles that comprise the Achilles tendon. A common ailment that produces pain at the back of the leg, particularly close to the heel, is Achilles tendinitis. Achilles tendon soreness, edema, and impaired function are common clinical signs that might arise during regular activities as well as during exercise. The researcher employed a case report methodology in this study, involving a patient at the Bagas Waras Klaten Regional Hospital. The patient, who is 65 years old and a carpenter, reported having pain in his left rear leg. Results at T1 = 6 to T4 = 3 showed a reduction in pressure pain following four rounds of therapy. Additionally, there was a reduction in motion pain from T1 = 5 to T4 = 3. Results at T1 = 3 to T4 = 4 show an increase in the strength of the ankle moving muscles during dorsiflexion. Moreover, plantarflexion produced outcomes at T1 = 3 to T4 = 4. According to the findings of the study, patients with Achilles tendinitis benefit from eccentric training in terms of decreased discomfort and increased muscle strength

Abstract

Piala Dunia FIFA 2022 merupakan turnamen sepakbola internasional yang diadakan di Qatar pada 20 November hingga 18 Desember 2022. Qatar menjadi satu satunya peserta baru di turnamen ini sekaligus menjadi tuan rumah Piala Dunia pertama yang berasal dari negara Timur Tengah. Jauh sebelum terpilihnya Qatar sebagai tuan rumah, Qatar menjadi salah satu kandidat tuan rumah yang sudah menimbulkan banyak kontroversi, mulai dari isu lingkungan yang dinilai tidak dapat mengadakan piala dunia di negaranya dan isu suap yang menimpa.  Qatar menunjukkan komitmen yang signifikan serta berpartisipasi aktif untuk memperkuat posisinya dalam komunitas olahraga global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya Qatar dalam menjadi tuan rumah Piala Dunia 2022 dan menganalisis diplomasi Qatar dalam menjadi tuan rumah Piala Dunia 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan mempelajari berbagai buku referensi serta hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang sejenis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Qatar melakukan berbagai upaya diplomasi untuk dapat terpilih menjadi tuan rumah Piala Dunia 2022. Berbagai strategi dilakukan oleh Qatar untuk menunjukkan keseriusannya dalam menjadi tuan rumah Piala Dunia 2022 yaitu (1) Diplomasi Olahraga untuk Image Building atau menjadi tuan rumah berbagai event internasional. (2) Diplomasi Building A Platform for a Dialogue. (3) Diplomasi Olahraga untuk Nation Branding. Keaktifan Qatar di berbagai organisasi internasional sebagai forum melakukan dialog dan juga memberikan kontribusi kedalam olahraga internasional. Kata Kunci: Diplomasi, Olahraga, Qatar, Piala Dunia

Abstract

The traditional elite in the 2017 Buru Regency Head Election has a strategic position for the survival of democracy for five years. The influence and power they have are the keys to the democratic process of the 2017 Pilkada won by the couple Ramli Umasagi and Amustofa Besan (RAMA). This study seeks to understand the existence of local elites on Buru Island and their roles in the 2019 Regent Election. Using the elite theoretical framework proposed by Mosca (1939), Pareto (2011) and Keller (201), synthesized with the theory of political participation formulated by Miriam Budiardjo (Budiardjo,1984), Samuel P. Huntington and Joan Nelson (Huntington and Nelson in Budiardjo,1984), this study finds: First, In the Buru Island community, the local elite has been stratified in the structure; Mat Gugul, Hinolog, and Soa. The figures in this elite not only played a role in social, cultural, and economic functions but also had an increasingly significant political role during the reform period. Second, In the 2017 Pilkada, these elites have carried out intense participation, among others, in conducting political socialization, being the Pilkada committee, mobilizing lower-level constituencies so that the community participates in politics and not abstaining, resolving conflicts if they occur and providing political supports to RAMA candidates who triumphed in this election. This research strengthens theories about the role of local elites or non-governing elites in the political process. Therefore, theoretically, the democratic process should pay attention to the role of local elites who have been proven to have an influence as evidenced in this study.AbstrakElite adat dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) Kabupaten Buru Tahun 2017 memiliki posisi yang cukup strategis bagi kelangsungan demokrasi lima tahunan. Pengaruh dan kekuasaan yang mereka miliki menjadi kunci dalam proses demokrasi Pilkada 2017 yang dimenangkan oleh pasangan Ramli Umasagi dan Amustofa Besan. Penelitian ini ingin memahami eksistensi elit lokal di Pulau Buru dan perannya dalam Pemilihan Bupati 2019. Dengan menggunakan kerangka teori elit yang dikemukakan oleh Mosca (1939), Pareto (2011) dan Keller (2011) yang disintesakan dengan teori partisipasi politik yang dirumuskan oleh Samuel P. Huntington dan Joan Nelson (Huntington dan Nelson dalam Budiarjo,1984), penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan berikut ini: Pertama, dalam komunitas Pulau Buru, elit lokal telah terstratifikasi dalam struktur; Mat Gugul, Hinolog dan Soa. Tokoh-tokoh dalam elit ini tidak hanya berperan dalam fungsi –fungsi social, budaya dan ekonomi, namun juga mempunyai peran politik yang semakin signifikan dalam masa reformasi. Kedua, khusus dalam Pilkada 2017, para elit ini telah melakukan partisipasi yang inten antara lain dalam melakukan sosialisasi politik, menjadi panitia Pilkada, melakukan mobilisasi tingkat bawah agar masyarakat berpartisipasi dalam politik dan tidak Golput, menyelesaikan konflik jika terjadi dan memberikan dukungan politik kepada kandidat RAMA yang akhirnya mememangkan Pilkada ini. Penelitian ini secara teoritik memperkuat teori-teori tentang peran elit lokal atau elit yang tidak memerintah dalam proses politik. Oleh karena itu secara teoritik proses demokrasi seharusnya memberikan perhatian kepada peran elit lokal yang sudah terbukti memberikan pengaruh sebagaimana dibuktikan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Pengembangan Ekonomi Sirkuler telah menjadi prioritas pembangunan masyarakat dunia dan Indonesia. Artikel ini menganalisis kebijakan, upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah provinsi Jawa Tengah, serta upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat dan dunia usaha serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah telah mengambil kebijakan tentang pengembangan Ekonomi Sirkuler dan Energi Baru Terbarukan. Implementasi kebijakan dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah, masyarakat dan dunia usaha dikelompokkan dalam 3 tema; pengelolaan sampah, sektor pangan dan sektor non pangan. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kuripan Village, Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency, have significant potential in the local food sector, but face serious marketing challenges, particularly limited digital literacy. This condition makes their products less competitive in the modern market. This community service activity aims to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs by optimizing marketing based on social media and digital platforms. The implementation method is online training via Zoom with an interactive, participatory, and applied approach, covering three main topics: social media ethics, basic product photography techniques, and creating online business accounts. The activity participated in 10 local MSMEs. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills, marked by an average pretest/posttest score that increased from 2.4 to 4.5 in the ethics aspect, from 2.1 to 4.2 in videography skills, and from 1.8 to 4.6 in mastery of digital business accounts. Participant testimonials also indicate a change in mindset and courage to utilize digital media as a promotional tool. Thus, this activity effectively bridges the digital divide of local MSMEs and contributes to strengthening technology-based marketing capacity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari atas peningkatan partisipasi politik perempuan dalam pemilihan umum, baik legislatif maupun eksekutif. Hal tersebut memberikan nuansa yang khas dalam dinamika perpolitikan tanah air. Ketentuan perundang undangan Republik Indonesia Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 mengatur keterwakilan perempuan minimal 30% baik di tingkat pusat maupun daerah. Objek penelitian Adalah Febri Jein Anjar, seorang petahana dari Partai Golongan Karya (Golkar), yang berhasil terpilih kembali di Pemilu 2024. Ia adalah sosok perempuan Muslim asal Gorontalo yang mampu bertahan selama tiga periode sebagai anggota DPRD Provinsi Papua Barat dan Papua Barat Daya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori dari Peter Schroder dan Pierre Bourdieu. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Febri Jein Anjar menerapkan strategi ofensif dan defensif untuk memenangkan Pemilu selama tiga periode. Ia berhasil membangun jaringan politik dan menjalin hubungan baik dengan masyarakat, termasuk dengan tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, dan tokoh adat. Karakter Febri yang ramah, mudah beradaptasi, serta dermawan menjadi faktor penting yang mendorong kesuksesannya dalam meraih kemenangan selama tiga periode tanpa jeda. Keberhasilan tersebut tidak terlepas dari dukungan modal politik yang solid, modal sosial yang kuat, serta modal ekonomi yang mendukung tanpa memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat dalam strategi kampanyenya Kata kunci: Strategi Politik, Modalitas, Pemilu, Calon Legislatif, Papua Barat, Papua Barat Daya

Abstract

The presence of local parties, one of which is the Aceh Party (PA) in Aceh, is a form of democracy for strategic groups that have been at odds with the government, so its emergence can be one of the factors encouraging the people of Aceh to take part or participate in politics. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of the Aceh Party (PA) in encouraging the political participation of the Acehnese people and to find out the obstacles and challenges of the Aceh Party (PA) in encouraging the political participation of the people in Aceh.The theory used in this study is the theory of G. A. Almond. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. It is an approach that explores and understands the meaning that a number of individuals or groups of people consider to be derived from social and humanitarian problems. The data collection techniques used in the study were in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by content analysis, synthesis analysis and critical analysis. The results of the research on the Role of the Aceh Party (PA) in Encouraging Political Participation of the Acehnese Community, based on the results of the research show that the Aceh Party has made several efforts to improve the quality and their role in providing political education in Aceh, this is shown by the existence of activity programs to improve the quality of Aceh Party's internal human resources and the community in order to realize good political education in districts/cities throughout Aceh. Obstacles and Challenges of the Aceh Party (PA) in Encouraging Community Political Participation in Aceh, based on the results of the study, the main inhibiting factor for the Aceh Party in carrying out its duties is related to access to gampongs that are difficult to travel due to long distances and difficult terrain. The Indonesian government must be open in dealing with any problems that arise throughout Indonesia. It is hoped that local political parties must be able to improve the quality of their members and cadres so that they can really carry out their performance well and can really become a means of channeling people's aspirations. So there needs to be good cooperation between local political parties and the community.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of the traditional elites of Tigo Luhah Tanah Sekudung in the 2018 Regional Head Election in Kerinci Regency. The background of the study is the significant role of traditional elites in winning the 2018 Kerinci Regency regional election contest. The research aims to identify and understand how the traditional elites of Tigo Luhah Tanah Sekudung played a role in the 2018 regional election in Kerinci Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a data triangulation approach, including in-depth interviews, document studies, and direct observation of political activities in the field. The results of the study show that the role of the traditional elites of Tigo Luhah Tanah Sekudung significantly influenced the election and victory of the regent and vice-regent candidates in Kerinci in 2018. The elites played three forms of roles: active, participatory, and passive (based on Lewis A. Coser's causal role theory). The findings successfully answered the important role of elites in the regional election.In conclusion, the role and involvement of traditional and religious elites were crucial and able to integrate the residents of Tigo Luhah Tanah Sekudung to vote for and support the regent and vice-regent candidates, leading to their election and victory in the 2018 regional election. This research provides practical contributions to the development of political strategies and recommendations for politicians facing elections, especially in regions that still uphold traditional values, such as Kerinci Regency.

Abstract

Procurement of primary equipment in the defense industry is one thing that is no less important that must be considered by every country to maintain its sovereignty and security. So far, Indonesia's defense system is still less than optimal, so it requires cooperation. The purpose of this study is to examine how Indonesia-South Korea's diplomatic cooperation in the Procurement of Defense Equipment 2019-2023. By using the theory of National Interest, Military Capability, and Defense Cooperation, the results of this study are to improve Indonesia's defense capabilities in collaboration on defense cooperation in the procurement of defense equipment. Indonesia is trying to increase the MEF in the RPJM in the era of President Jokowi. The government has shown its commitment to building and developing an independent defense industry. The Indonesia-South Korea cooperation is a promising cooperation, PT.
