Learning graph theory is an important topic in the world of mathematics and computer science. However, students often face difficulties in understanding the concepts and practical application of graph theory. Therefore, this study aims to apply practicum-based learning methods in teaching graph theory to students. The method used in this study involves the application of practical work through the use of maple. Students are given the opportunity to interactively run experiments, analyze results, and relate them to graph theory concepts. Apart from that, they are also given assignments that focus on the practical application of graph theory in real-world contexts. This research was conducted on students of the Mathematics Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak, totaling 1 class using an experimental approach. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively to evaluate the effectiveness of practicum-based learning methods in increasing students' understanding of graph theory. The results of the study show that the application of practicum-based learning in graph theory has a positive impact on student understanding. Students show a significant increase in their understanding of graph theory concepts and their ability to apply the theory to real-world situations. In addition, students also provide positive feedback regarding interactive and fun learning experiences.

This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model to mathematical communication skills in terms of independent learning on set material in class VII SMP Negeri 01 Tayan Hulu. The research form used is quasi-experimental designs, with a 2×3 factorial design. The population in this study were students of class VII A and students of class VII B. The sample in this study was one class selected by cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used are direct communication techniques and measurement techniques with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and test questions in the form of essays. The data analysis technique used was the analysis of two dissimilar cell paths with the normality test using the Lilifors test, homogeneity using the Bartlett test and continued with the multiple comparison test using the Scheffe method. The results of this study are (1) the mathematical communication of students who follow the problem-based learning model is better than students who follow the conventional learning model, (2) the ability of mathematical communication between students who have high learning independence is better than moderate after the implementation of the model learning problem based learning. (3) students' mathematical communication skills in the moderate learning independence category were better than students in the low learning independence category after applying the problem-based learning model. (4) at the level of independent learning, problem-based learning models provide better mathematical communication skills than conventional learning models.

This study aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking ability of grade VIII students in solving quadrilateral and triangle problems in one of the swasta junior high schools in Pontianak. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data were collected through essay tests and interviews to provide an overview of students' mathematical creative thinking ability. The results showed that 21.28% of students were in the low ability category, with scores below the difference between the mean and standard deviation of students' scores. In the medium category, 61.7% of students scored above or equal to the low group score criteria but below the high group score criteria. Meanwhile, 17.02% of students were in the high category, with scores above or equal to the sum of the mean and standard deviation of student scores. Analysis of the indicators of creative thinking ability shows that students have very good abilities in the indicators of fluency, flexibility, and elaboration. However, in the originality indicator, students are still in the good category. These findings indicate the need for improvement in the originality aspect of students' creative thinking to achieve more optimal results in mathematical problem solving.

Ethnomatematics can be used as an alternative method for teachers in facilitating learning so that students understand mathematics more easily. By ethnomathematics it is hoped that students can further improve their critical thinking, metacognitive, and problem solving abilities. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the conceptual design of Ethnomatematics-based Ethnomatematics Mathematical Worksheets at the Keraton Kesultanan Kadariyah Pontianak, to introduce the mathematical concepts found in Keraton. This research is a type of literature study. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, and validation sheets. Based on the literature review that has been carried out, ethnomatematics-based student worksheet should be used in learning process.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKS siswa berbasis etnomatematika bermuatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada materi segitiga dan untuk mengetahui kualitas LKS yang dikembangkan dilihat dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan serta keefektifan. Metode penelitian Research and Depelopment (R&D) yaitu penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D yang telah dimodifikasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas LKS yang dikembangkan meliputi lembar validasi, angket kepraktisan, dan tes. Efek potensial LKS yang dikembangkan dapat dilihat dari aktivitas dan pemahaman siswa dalam mengerjakan persoalan yang diberikan pada LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) kualitas LKS dilihat dari aspek kevalidan termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan tingakat kevalidan sebesar 88,32%, (2) hasil angket respon guru dan siswa dengan rata-rata 86,15% dengan kriteria praktis dan (3) hasil pengerjaan soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis oleh siswa sebesar 83,33% dengan kriteria efektif. Abstract The purpose of this study was to develop student worksheets based on ethnomatematics with mathematical communication skills on triangular material and to determine the quality of the developed student worksheets from the aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research method is a Research and Depelopment (R&D) type, namely development research that refers to a modified 4-D development model. The instruments used to measure the quality of the developed worksheets include validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and tests. The potential effects of the student worksheets being developed can be seen from the activities and understanding of students in working on the problems given to the worksheets. The results showed that: (1) the quality of the worksheets seen from the validity aspect was included in the valid category with a validity level of 88.32%, (2) the results of the questionnaire responses from teachers and students with an average of 86.15% with practical criteria and (3) the results of the mathematical communication skills test by students amounted to 83.33% with effective criteria.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengembangan aplikasi Morndumath. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi literatur dan studi lapangan. Subjek penelitiannya adalah guru dan siswa kelas VIII. Studi literatur dilaksanakan dengan mengumpulkan penelitian dan sumber relevan. Sedangkan studi lapangan diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket kebutuhan produk menggunakan google form kepada guru dan siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. Berdasarkan studi literatur aplikasi Morndumath bermuatan HOTS dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Sedangkan berdasarkan studi lapangan diketahui 81,5% siswa sulit memahami materi bangun ruang, 92,3% siswa membutuhkan bahan ajar lain selain yang disediakan sekolah dan 100% guru merasa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kurang dalam materi bangun ruang, 100% guru merasa sangat perlu menggunakan media pembelajaran lain dalam kegiatan pembelajaran seperti aplikasi Morndumath bemuatan HOTS. Setelah memahami apa yang dimaksud dengan aplikasi Morndumath bermuatan HOTS 100% guru dan 87,7% siswa menyatakan menginginkan media pembelajaran tersebut dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Abstract The research objective is to analyze the development of the Morndumath application. The method uses in this research is literature study and field study. The research subjects are teachers and students of class VIII. Literature studies are carried out by collecting relevant research and sources. While the field study is obtained by distributing a product needs questionnaire using google form to teachers and students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. Based on a literature study, the Morndumath application with HOTS can help students improve higher-order thinking skills. Meanwhile, based on field studies, it is known that 81.5% of students have difficulty understanding the material of building space, 92.3% of students need other teaching materials besides those provided by the school and 100% of teachers feel that students' high-level thinking skills are lacking in building materials, 100% of teachers feel very need to use other learning media in learning activities such as the Morndumath application made by HOTS. After understanding what is meant by the Morndumath application with HOTS content, 100% of teachers and 87.7% of students stated that they wanted the learning media in learning activities.

Abstrak Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan metode eksprimen, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam komunikasi matematis sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e. Pengambilan subjek pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Budi Baik sebanyak 7 siswa yang akan di jadikan kelas eksperimen dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada soal pretest masih rendah yaitu sebesar 14,28%, ketuntasan klasikal kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada soal posttest sebesar 71,43%. Setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e kemampuan siswa dalam komunikasi matematisnya mengalami peningkatan. Abstract This study implements the expressive method, which aims to know students' abilities in mathematical communication before and after the application of the 5e learning cycle model. Subject sampling in this study uses saturated sample technique. The subject of this research is a student of grade VII of SMP Budi Good as many as 7 students who will be made an experimental class by applying the learning model 5e cycle. The results of the study obtained the classical intelligence of students' mathematical communication skills on the question of pretest is still low, which is of 14.28%, and the classic intelligence mathematics skills of students on the matter of posttest is of 71.43%. After applying the learning model 5e learning cycle, students’ ability in mathematical communication has improved.

This research aims to determine whether there are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities through the contextual learning model assisted by Quizizz in terms of visual spatial intelligence. This research is a quantitative research type of True Experimental Design. The research subjects were class VIII students at SMPN 17 Pontianak with a total of 60 students. The samples in this study were class VIII B as an experimental class using the contextual learning model assisted by Quizzizz and class VIII A as a control class using a conventional learning model. Data was obtained from the mathematical problem-solving ability test given to students. The data analysis technique used a two-way anava test and an advanced test using a double comparison test with the Sheffe method. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data, the results were obtained that the ability to solve mathematical problems using the quizizz-assisted contextual learning model is better than the ability to solve mathematical problems using the conventional learning model. There is an interaction between the quizizz-assisted contextual learning model and students' spatial visual intelligence on mathematical problem solving

This study aims to develop a higher order thinking skill (HOTS) test instrument which is used to measure students' critical thinking skills on circular material. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Putussibau using the research and development method of the Borg and Gall research design with 10 stages, namely, potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision. , trial use, product revision and mass product. But in this study only up to stage 8, namely the use trial. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that the results of the validation of the HOTS test instrument from the three experts were in the valid category. While the effectiveness of the HOTS test instrument based on the results of the analysis is included in the effective category. The final form of the product of this research is the HOTS test instrument as many as 3 essay questions which are used to measure students' critical thinking skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita persamaan linear satu variabel berdasarkan minat belajar tingkat tinggi di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila; (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita persamaan linear satu variabel berdasarkan minat belajar tingkat sedang di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila; (3) Untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita persamaan linear satu variabel berdasarkan minat belajar tingkat rendah di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIB yang terdidri dari 28 siswa. Alat pengumpul data yanag digunakan adalah angket minat belajar, tes kemampuan berpikirkreatif matematis berbentuk essay sebanyak 4 soal, dan wawancara terdapat 6 siswa diperoleh dari hasil angket yang terdiri dari 2 siswa (B16 dan B1) perwakilan kelompok tinggi, 2 siswa (B5 dan B18) perwakilan kelompok sedang dan 2 siswa (B21 dan B24) perwakilan kelompok rendah.sebelum digunakan dalam penelitian ini, soal tersebut sudah diuji cobakan untuk menentukan validitas, daya pembeda, indeks kesukaran dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa B16 dan B1 memiliki minat belajar tinggi dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis memenuhi indikator-indikator berpikir kreatif kefasihan, fleksibilitas, kebaruan dan elaborasi. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang memilki minat belajar tingkat tinggi memilki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis tingkat atas. Untuk siswa B5 dan B18 memiliki minat belajar sedang dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa B5 memenuhi indikator-indikator berpikir kreatif kefasihan, fleksibilitas, dan elaborasi sedangkan siswa B18 memenuhi ini indikator elaborasi saja. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang memilki minat belajar tingkat sedang memilki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis tingkat tengah. Dan untuk siswa B21 dan B24 memiliki minat belajar rendah dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis belum memenuhi indikator-indikator berpikir kreatif kefasihan, fleksibilitas, kebaruan dan elaborasi. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang memilki minat belajar rendah tinggi memilki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis tingkat bawah.
