This study examines the implementation of the concept of Islamic educational psychology from the perspective of contemporary scholars through the deep learning approach in improving the quality of learning. The study employed a qualitative approach using library research by reviewing various relevant literature sources, including scientific books, journal articles, and previous studies. Data were analyzed descriptively and analytically through the processes of reviewing, comparing, and synthesizing concepts related to Islamic educational psychology and the deep learning approach. The findings indicate that Islamic educational psychology emphasizes the holistic development of students’ potential, encompassing cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions. Therefore, education is not only oriented toward the mastery of knowledge but also toward the formation of morals and personality. Furthermore, the deep learning approach has proven effective in encouraging active student engagement, enhancing conceptual understanding, and developing critical, reflective, and creative thinking skills. This approach is aligned with constructivist principles that position students as active subjects in the learning process, making learning more meaningful and contextual. However, the implementation of this integration still faces several challenges, including limited teacher competence and a learning culture that remains oriented toward memorization. Therefore, strategic efforts are required through improving educator capacity, developing adaptive curricula, and strengthening innovative educational policies. In conclusion, the integration of Islamic educational psychology concepts with the deep learning approach has significant potential to create meaningful and high-quality learning and to produce students who are intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally developed.

This research aims to identify and analyze the values of character education formulated by Hamka, as well as examine the extent to which they are relevant to national education goals. This research uses qualitative research with a Library Research approach. The results of the research show that Hamka's thoughts on character education have relevance to current national education. That national education has the responsibility to prepare a generation to form advanced and civilized Indonesian people. In accordance with the goals of national education in Law no. 20 of 2003, the relevance of the concept of character education according to Hamka as stated in the goals of national education is religious character, honesty, curiosity, reading, respect for achievement, communicative, creative, independent and democratic.

Today's technological advances have many positive impacts on human life, especially the ease of communication. However, the negative impacts were not insignificant, including on aspects of the character of the technology users. The important thing that needs to be noticed is how to attempt to defeat the negative impacts caused. This context is the research which was conducted. The purpose of this research is to explore how the implementation of character education for santri in the technological era at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim Kediri, West Lombok. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The validity of the data was checked through triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of this study indicate that, the character education for santri in the technological era at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim Kediri, West Lombok is implemented in integrating character education in the process of teaching and learning the boarding materials and instilling character values ??in programmed daily activities. The character values ??implemented in Nurul Hakim Islamic Boarding School are religious, independent, disciplined, honest, creative, hard work, integrity, responsibility and behaving politely to everyone. The implementation of character education is an effective strategy to prevent various negative impacts caused by current technological advances on the santri of Nurul Hakim Islamic Boarding School Kediri West Lombok. Kemajuan teknologi saat ini telah memberikan banyak dampak positif pada kehidupan manusia terutama kemudahan berkomunikasi. Namun demikian, dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan juga tidak sedikit, di antaranya pada aspek karakter pengguna teknologi tersebut. Hal penting yang perlu dilakukan adalah bagaimana upaya untuk menanggulagi dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan tersebut. Konteks inilah penelitian ini dilakukan. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter santri pada era teknologi di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim Kediri Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Keabsahan data dicek melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, implementasi pendidikan karakter santri pada era teknologi di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim Kediri Lombok Barat yaitu dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam proses belajar mengajar kepondokan dan menanamkan nilai karakter dalam kegiatan harian yang diprogramkan.
