Abstract

This study describes the situation of the New Normal learning period. Anxiety in the community who wants face-to-face learning to be carried out again. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method, namely research that describes the actual conditions. This research is used to analyze events, phenomena, or social realities by including analysis and interpretation of the problems studied. This research is expected to be able to see how the implementation of learning during the new normal is carried out in accordance with the provisions that apply during the covid 19 period that hit the city of Padang. Data obtained from various sources, data collection techniques through instruments carried out by researchers, such as observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects are informants, namely people who provide a description of the current situation, namely a social situation or social situation which consists of three elements, namely place (palce), actors (actors), and activities (activity) that interact synergistically. Then the analysis and conclusion, the location of this research in the city of Padang. This study sees that in the implementation of the new normal learning period after being online for a long time, it must follow the applicable rules and careful preparation in the midst of the covid 19 virus siege. Considering further that many parents of elementary school students want to return to regular learning face to face. Judging from the results of this study, learning in the new normal period is carried out well if there is cooperation between teachers, students and parents in studying at home. Full guidance for children, and the readiness of parents to take their time and continue to carry out health protocols as a condition for face-to-face learning to be reopened.

Abstract

The library is a center of knowledge that must be managed properly and correctly in an educational institution. SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti is a school where all kinds of activities get more attention from the government, one of which is through the library. various assistance, facilities and infrastructure in the form of a collection of books are always provided. However, the operation of the library at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti is currently still managed in a conventional way. Starting from the data collection process to borrowing books is still done manually. Causing activities to be slow, inefficient and errors tend to be repeated frequently. So the Design of a Library Information System at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Using Visual Basic 2010 Programming Language and Supported by Mysql Database is the right solution to overcome these problems. The results of the evaluation of the library system that has been designed show that the library system has features of computerized automation of data processing, transactions and the creation of important reports that have made it easier for librarians to manage the library.

Abstract

This development research aims to development of Project Based Learning on System Operation at computer and networking technic this research methods IDI development research, such as the prosedure of IDI development is: define, develop and evaluate. Types of data is primary data where the data provided by the experts, teachers and students, An analysis of the data used are technical data descriptive analysis was to describe validity, practicality, effectiveness and creative of products using Learning. Based on the data analysis that was did to research methods IDI development research. The results obtained from this research and development in the book teacher and book students after validity as follows: (1) The validity of the Project Based Learning declared valid, (2) The practicalities of Project Based Learning based on teachers after validity revealed practically, (3) Effectiveness of Project Based Learning effective in improving students learning outcomes before with after using Project Based Learning, (4) The creative of Project Based Learning, Based on the findings of this study was concluded that this Project Based Learning was valid, practical effective and creative to be used asa medium of learning was in the system operation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to Visual Basic learning modules and Problem Based Learning-based engineering drawings. The research method used to develop this module is the Research and Development version of Borg and Gall simplified by Anik Ghufron, Anik Ghufron's simplified Borg and Gall development model has four steps: 1) Preliminary Research, 2) Development, 3) Field Testing,4) Product Deployment. This study uses one way of collecting data in the form of validation questionnaires. The results showed that the module developed was declared feasible with the validity value of Materials Specialist 3.16 and Media Expert 3.67. The data obtained shows that Visual Basic learning modules and resulting problem-based learning images can be executed.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the speaking ability of the first grade students at SMPN 1 Pesisir in telling their daily activities. The design of this study was descriptive method. Cluster random sampling was used to select the sample. The total number of sample was 62 students’. The data were collected through speaking test. The data was measured by considering five components of speaking. Based on the findings of this study, students speaking ability were low. The findings were proved by the evidence that 85.49% of them cannot tell their daily activities orally. Based on the findings, this study was suggested for English teachers to consider the five components of speaking when measuring students’ speaking ability and English teachers were suggested to provide more practices for those components of speaking. The students were suggested to do more practices and improve their comprehension about material especially in speaking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  memanajemenkan pembelajaran daring dalam meningkatkan efektivitas proses pendidik, di masa pandemik covid-19 untuk kedepannya, terutama pada waktu jangaka panjang seperti yang kita hadapi saat ini dengan Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) yang belum ada hentinya. Sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri 4, berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan. Berbagai tantangan, masalah, dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh seorang pedidik, mulai dari penyebab siswa, keluarga siswa, serta fasilitas dan sumber daya yang kurang representatif, namun Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) terus menginstruksikan seluruh pendidik di semua tingkatan pendidikan untuk dapat membangun pembelajaran yang menyenangkan di rumah baik siswa maupun mahasiswa. Akibatnya, guru harus memainkan peran kunci dalam membimbing atau mengelola instruksi, dimulai dengan mempersiapkan, mengoordinasikan, menerapkan, dan meninjau, untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar selama pandemi COVID-19 yang sedang berlangsung, baik secara online maupun offline. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti ingin menganalisis seberapa efektif pelaksanaan sistem pembelajaran dari sudut pandang guru. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 35 guru yang mengajar di tingkat Sekolah Menenengah Atas, baik dari sekolah negeri maupun swasta di wilayah Kabupaten Solok. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang disebarkan secara online menggunakan link ms.form. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, memperlihatkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran online telah terlaksana dengan efektif dilihat dari kesiapan guru. Dari hasil yang di dapatkan  58% responden siap mengikuti suatu perubahan, 42% responden senang dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran online, 21% responden mendukung jika sistem pembelajaran online ini diterapkan untuk waktu kedepannya, Hannya 24% responden yang menyatakan bahwa waktu pembelajaran online berjalan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan hasil yang ditemukan dari efeftifitas manajemen pendidik dalam pembelajaran daring,  kedepannya bisa diantisipasi agar bisa efektif dengan dilihatnya dari kekurangan dan kendala yang di temukan di lapangan melalui penelitian ini

Abstract

That with the spread of the covid-19 virus, the teaching and learning process has turned into distance learning to limit the spread of the covid 19 virus. Online distance learning began in early March 2020. This requires educators to think about what methods and media will be used. used for the teaching and learning process. For this reason, learning videos (Youtube) are used in the classroom teaching process. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes by applying learning videos (Youtube) in Class X TKJ 1 SMK Muhamadiyah 1 Padang. Based on the data analysis of the first cycle to the second cycle there is an increase in learning outcomes. The average student learning outcome in the first cycle was 82.57 with a percentage of 72.73%. At the end of the second cycle learning outcomes increased to 87.45 with a percentage of 91.34%. The minimum completeness standard in this study is 80 and the research indicator is determined that 80% of students complete above the SKM. In this study, there were 91.34% of students above the SKM. Based on the results of this study,the teachers in the field studies can use learning videos for online learning.

Abstract

Scholarships are a work program that exists in every college and school. The scholarship program is held to ease the burden on students in taking their studies. STKIP Pesisir Selatan is one example of a university that has many scholarship programs to be distributed to every student and student who is financially underprivileged but has the determination to continue their education and excel during their schooling. The purpose of this research is to process the selection of prospective scholarship recipients using a system through a decision support system combined with the Weigted Product method so that prospective scholarship recipients can be directly determined and will make it easier for universities to determine which prospective students will be selected

Abstract

This research describes the post-covid-19 situation and the readiness of elementary school children to carry out face-to-face learning again. The research subjects are informants, namely people who provide an overview of the current situation, namely a social situation or social situation consisting of three elements, namely places, actors, and activities that integrate synergistically. Then the analysis and conclusions, the location of this research is in the city of Padang. This research sees that in re-implementing post-online learning during Covid 19, the role of parents must be fully carried out to revive children's enthusiasm because they are used to learning using technology such as gadgets. Currently, the city of Padang has conducted full face-to-face meetings, asking elementary school-age students to attend. This is certainly not easy to change because it has long been complacent because at this age children need the active role of parents as guides in getting to know learning again. The results of this study post-covid 19 learning can be carried out well if there is full guidance for children, and the readiness of the parents is very meaningful
