Abstract

This study discusses the Kyai's leadership style in improving the quality of Islamic education by forming independent students. Like those at Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, students at Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School in all aspects of needs within the scope of Islamic boarding schools, almost all of them are run by Santri independently. Therefore the author raises the theme "Kiai's leadership style in forming the independence of students at the Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas, Jombang". The author uses a descriptive qualitative research type, by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation at the Al-Falah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, so that the conclusion is found; The leadership style used by K. Azam Choiruman Najib at the Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas is a guided democratic leadership style, namely a leadership style that uses a style that is willing to accept opinions from subordinates in order to achieve common goals by means of a leadership approach based on strong ethical and moral principles. Then the supporting factors in establishing the independence of the Al-Falah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School students include 1) The management of Al-Falah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School students is formed, 2) The construction of supporting facilities for students' independence in the form of kitchens, cooperatives, and others, 3) There is control of the students' pocket finances by the financial administrator. The inhibiting factors in forming the independence of the students of the Al-Falah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School include 1) the emergence of rules from administrators that limit students, 2) The performance of the management is not optimal, 3) The students are often spoiled by their parents, 4) The students' lack of self-awareness, 5) The lack of interest in learning.

Abstract

This research discusses the Kyai's leadership style in improving the quality of Islamic education by forming independent students. Like at the Jannaturroichan Islamic Boarding School, the santri at the Jannaturroichan Islamic Boarding School, in all aspects of needs within the scope of the Islamic Boarding School, are almost all run by the Santri independently. The author used descriptive qualitative research, by conducting observations, interviews and documentation at the Jannaturroichan Peterongan Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, so that the conclusion was that; The leadership style used by KH Yunus Roichan at the Jannaturroichan Islamic Boarding School is a paternalistic religious leadership style, he in the process of educating the students uses an interactive style between him and the students, and applies Islamic religious values by following the leadership style that has been exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of kyai leadership in increasing the independence of students at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School (parents) Tambakberas Jombang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews and documentation at the Islamic boarding school. The conclusion of the research shows that KH. Fatkhullah Malik, MPd., as a kyai at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, implements democratic leadership by accepting input from his subordinates. This approach relies on good moral and ethical principles to achieve common goals. Factors supporting student independence involve emotional, economic and intellectual aspects. Emotional independence is built through a positive teaching system, economic independence is strengthened by adequate facilities, and intellectual independence is enhanced through active participation in the teaching and learning process. However, there are also three factors inhibiting students' independence, including emotional dependence and low self-confidence, lack of economic skills and limited access to economic resources, as well as lack of motivation to learn and inability to adapt to the curriculum. Thus, this research illustrates the importance of kyai leadership in forming santri independence by emphasizing supporting factors and overcoming obstacles that may arise in the process.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) To describe the leadership of kyai in preserving the social traditions of the Islamic boarding school Darun Najah Karangploso Malang. 2) To describe the leadership of kyai in preserving the scholarly traditions of Darun Najah Karangploso Malang Islamic boarding school. This research adopts a qualitative approach, specifically a descriptive type. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the data analysis process, researchers used a data analysis model initiated by Sugiono, which consists of 4 steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this research indicate that: 1) The social traditions of the Islamic boarding school Darun Najah Karangploso Malang are manifested through activities such as communal gatherings, admonitions, and thanksgiving events. These activities facilitate social interaction among students, between students and the community, and between students and religious teachers in a familial atmosphere. 2) The continuity of studying classical Islamic texts intensively and the utilization of traditional teaching methods such as recitation, discussion groups, memorization, and deliberation. These activities are intended to ensure that students preserve the knowledge they have acquired.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan mengenai Sosialisasi dan Monitoring Social Media Marketing yakni terletak di Desa Karobelah, Kecamatan Mojoagung, Kabupaten Jombang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah dengan pendampingan kepada mitra yang dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap kegiatan. Sosialisasi dilakukan pada tanggal 4 September 2023. Mitra dalam sosialisasi ini adalah kelompok produktif home industri yang merupakan pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dengan jumlah peserta hadir 7 orang. Narasumber dalam sosialisasi ini adalah salah satu dosen Universitas K.H.A. Wahab Hasbullah yaitu Bapak Wisnu Mahendi, MM. Peserta sangat antusias mengikuti monitoring setelah dilakukan sosialisasi program manajemen yang mengacu pada pentingnya pemasaran berbasis digital, khususnya sosial media marketing dengan menggunakan whatshapp bisnis, facebook marketplace serta instagram sebagai media promosi dan penunjang promosi. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini menjadikan peserta UMKM lebih semangat belajar dan terus terinovasi dalam memasarkan dan mengembangkan produk secara online. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan respon para peserta yang menyatakan siap untuk melakukan promosi menggunakan sosial media dengan aplikasi tersebut yang dianggap mudah dipahami dan digunakan

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan mengenai Sosialisasi Mikrokontroler serta Pembelajaran Praktis Pembuatan IoT kepada siswa dan guru SMPN 3 Mojoagung Dusun Karobelah. Pelatihan ini bertujuan agar siswa mampu belajar cara membuat proyek IoT sederhana menggunakan mikrokontroler sehingga diharapkan akan tercipta generasi muda yang lebih terampil dan siap menghadapi perkembangan teknologi yang pesat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 September 2023 di SMPN 3 Jombang pukul 08.00 – 10.30 WIB yang diikuti oleh 25 orang. Kegiatan diisi dengan proses belajar dan praktik mengenai pengenalan microkontroler dan pembuatan Smart Lamp. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pendampingan ini menggunakan metode PAR atau Participatory Action Research. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini dapat memberikan dampak positif pada pemahaman teknologi siswa, produktivitas, dan partisipasi mereka dalam pengembangan komunitas dan lingkungan sekolah
