Abstract

Poverty is always there in human life, thus requiring a comprehensive preventionefforts, integral and sustainable. Crisis and economic uncertainty make socialsecurity mechanism to maintain economic survivalitas fishing communities is veryimportant. Indragiri Hilir Regency Community of Duano that there is a social reality,Community of Duano Society is included in an isolated environment. People ofIndragiri Hilir more familiar Community of Duano as “the sea” which calls used bythe Malays to the people or communities who lives in the boat or live in costal sea,strait, and estuaries, livelihood as fisherman fishing, shrimp and shells. This studyaimed to identify the forms of social security whatever there is in the community ofDuano. Analyze the social security mechanisms that exist in the community ofDuano. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods in theimplementation of this study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data obtaineddirectly from informants who work as fishermen in Community of Duano throughinterviews. The results showed the from of social security in the Community ofDuano (1) social security education (2) social security health (3) social security foodand clothing (4) social security work and enterprise (5) social security housing (6)social security old-age (7) social security as an orphan and family benefits. Sosicalsecurity mechanisms that exist in communities of Duano (1) formal social security(2) informal social security.Keywords: Analysis, Social Security, Community Tribal Duano

Abstract

 ABSTRACT This research was conducted in April until May 2017 at Halang Muka Island village. The purpose of this study is to find out the level of poverty, describe the condition of poverty, and to provide poverty reduction advice. The research method is using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, and using descriptive analysis.The results of this study indicate that the average household of working fishermen is categorized as poor. The causes of fisherman poverty are: (1) low fishery production (2) low fisherman household income, (3) alternative employment less (4) limited capital (5) low education level, (6) fishermen still dependent on ship owner, 7) A large family load and (8) wasteful consumption patterns. The Rokan Hilir Government's efforts to combat fishing communities include fishing equipment, such as ships, nets and from central government such as Bantuan Langsung Tunai, Beras Sejahtera, Asuransi Nelayan and Pengembangan Usaha Mina Perikanan. In the implementation of the aid is still loaded with nepotism so that the aid target is not accurate. Implications of mitigation that can be done are: (1) Improve knowledge of fishermen community with socialization and training, (2) Guidance from professional fisheries extension workers, (3) growth and development of Kelompok Usaha Bersama (4) Facilitate fishermen access to capital, (5) Creating alternative business and (5) Increasing participation of wife of fisherman to household income. Keywords: Fisherman, Cause of Poverty, Poverty Alleviation, Halang Muka Island.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the Analysis of Patent Fish Enlargement Business (PangasiusSutchi) In pond was conducted in May 2018 in GunungSahilan Sub-District, Kampar District, Riau Province. This study aims to (1) find out the amount of investment costs in the business of fish enlargement Patin in ponds, (2) to analyze the feasibility of Patin fish enlargement in the pond. The method used is survey method which includes observation, interview and documentation.  Based on the result of the research (1) the input in Patin fish enlargement effort is density of stocking in each pond with the width of 300-850 m2 as much as 4500-12750 tail / pond and the output in Patin fish enlargement business is the amount of production in each pond as much as 1507 -4271 Kg / pool. average production cost incurred at Patin fish raising business with 300-850 m2 pool area IDR 23.628.850, - / harvest up to IDR 67.123.050, - / harvest with total receipt received IDR 27.126.000, - / harvest to IDR 76.878.000, - / harvest and profit received IDR 3.497.150, -panen to IDR 9.754.950, - / harvest and (2) Patin fish breeding business in pond in Sungai Lipai worthy of RCR > 1, with FRR value> 6,02% and PPC value that is between 7,56-8,36 per period or ± 7 year 8 months. Keywords: Patin Fish Enlargement, Business Analysis, Lipai River

Abstract

 ABSTRACT   This research has been done in March 2018, located in Kampung Nelayan Seberang across Belawan I, North Sumatra Province. The study aims to: 1) Describe the structure of social stratification that occurs in communities in the Kampung Nelayan Seberang, and 2) Describe the structure of social differentiation found in the Kampung Nelayan Seberang. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the determination of informants by purposive sampling.  Based on the results of the research obtained, the social stratification that occurred in the Kampung Nelayan Seberang caused a difference in strata among the community, caused by factors charismatic, honor, education, and wealth. So as to cause class differences between the people, namely the upper class of society is occupied by people who have high income, respectable families, charismatic leaders. The middle class is a group of people who become fishermen owners, ambassadors, fuel suppliers, paramedics and private sector employees prioritizing economic aspects of power, and the influence of society in this group is limited to providing assistance in economic fulfillment. The people who belong to the lower class are those who have income > IDR. 1.000.000, namely fishermen, owners and labor fishermen. The differentiation that occurs in the neighboring Fisherman Village community has already existed and did not cause levels when viewed horizontally. Differences in professions, gender, migrants / non-migrants, tribes have been seen indirectly. This difference does not become a barrier to interaction between communities.Keywords: Stratification, Differentiation, Coastal Communities

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted on February 2018 located at Kajuik Lake, Langgam Sub District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The location of this study is determined deliberately with the consideration that this location has a fisherman community in supporting the husband's economy assisted by members of the household. This study aims to find out Knowing the characteristics of fishermen, fishermen's wife and fishermen, Knowing the contribution of household members in the fishery sector or non-fishery sector to household income of fishermen and See the difference of income before and after the change of lake management from indigenous peoples to the government to income fishermen in Lake Kajuik. The method used in this study is the survey method with respondents amounted to 10 fishermen, where Determination of respondents is determined by the technique chosen purposely (purposive sampling). The characteristics of fisherman, fisherman's wife and fisherman's son in this study are: a) age, b) number of dependents c) work experience and d) level of education, contribution of household members, contribution contribution provided by fisherman is very high while contribution from wife is low and contribution from middle-aged children, and experienced income difference before and after management change from average of fisherman's income Rp 2,946,634 / month to Rp 1,396,634 / month or there is income difference Rp. 1.550.000 / month. The contribution of household members of fishermen of Kajuik lake are 48,31% fisherman, fisherman's wife 19,47% and fisherman's son 32,47%. Keywords: Household Income, Contributions, Lake Kajuik.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                This study is about the use of local government assistance in increasing the income of members of fishermen groups carried out in August 2018 in the nanggari manggopoh palak gadang ulakan tapakis district padang pariaman district. This study aims to find out how members of the fishing group utilize local government assistance in increasing the income of members of the fishing group, hopefully. The method used in this study is a survey method that is analyzed using the simple T-test method and the number of respondents in this study, namely 19 respondents who were used using SPSS 16.               From the results of this study the income of fishermen's catch increased by 75% after obtaining assistance, while the net income of fishermen increased by IDR. 1,500,000 per month. After the pairet simples test, the value of T count is -23,117, while the value of sig (2tailed) (0,000) <(0,05) can be concluded that rejecting H0 and accepting Hi means that there are differences before and after receiving assistance. Keywords:utilization of assistance, regional government

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in February - March 2020 in Teluk Nibung sub district, Tanjug Balai city, North Sumatera Province. The location of this research was chosen deliberately (purposive). Based on the results of research conducted on social capital of the fishermencommunity in Teluk Nibung sub district, Tanjug Balai city, North Sumatera Province, then the form of trust that forms the social capital of the fishermen community consists of elements of the element of trust itself which among other things is honesty that is they are open about operational costs when at sea, fairness that is the existence of strict rules and strict sanctions, egalitarian attitudes that are not there is a distinction between fishermencommunities, tolerance that is mutual respect for the opinions of fellow fishermencommunities, generosity that is willingness to help fellow fishermen communities who experience disaster. How to maintain an honest attitude and positive thinking, no jealousy and vengeance, dare to be responsible for the mistakes made, and also sincere in helping others.Keywords: Social Capital,Social Capital, Fishermen Communities

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in February 2020 at Perawang Market, Tualang Sub-District, Siak Regency.The purpose of this study is to determine the social forms that exist between fresh fish traders, suppliers and buyers in the Perawang Market and to find out how social capital continues to occur among fresh fish traders in the Perawang Market. The method used in this study is the census method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study was 16 informants.From the results of the study, obtained a form of social networking formed between fish traders who work together and help each other by giving each other information about fish. Norms in buying and determining prices are formed personally. Trust given by traders to buyers because of the closeness, honesty and getting to know each other between traders and buyers. To maintain the social capital of fresh fish traders, fresh fish traders continue to maintain a sense of unity and kinship between fellow traders, buyers, and suppliers / agents of fish.Keywords: Social capital, Traders, Markets, Networks, Norms, Trust

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to identify the types of activities or businesses carried out by members of fishing households, both fishery and non-fishery based, analyze fisherman household incomes and analyze the contribution of household members in helping to increase fisherman household income in KepenghuluanParitAman, Bangko District, Rokan Regency. Downstream.the method used in this research is the survey method. The results showed that the business carried out by fishermen households in the KepenghuluanParitAman in the fishery sector were fishermen, fish salters and fish traders, while the non-fishery sector such as food stalls, small shops, tailors, fried food sellers, online shops, food stalls miso, gasoline seller, market service and motorcycle taxi driver. The household income of fishermen in the KepenghuluanParitAman, Bangko District, RokanHilir Regency, Riau Province with an average of Rp. 4,490,755,-. In increasing the household income of fishermen in KepenghuluanParitAman, it can be concluded that the contribution given by fishermen as the head of the family is high (71,28%), the wife's contribution (27,21%) is low, while the contribution of children (1,51%) is low. Keywords: Contribution, income, Kepenghuluan Parit Aman
