Abstract

ABSTRACT Characteristics of fishermen of the Akit tribe included in the very productive age, the level of education is low, the average income of fishermen of the Akit Tribe is still below the Bengkalis Regency Regional Minimum Wage (Rp. 2,919,000 per month with an average expenditure of Rp. 1,800,000 per month and the number of dependents of the Akit tribe fishermen in Bantan Timur Village is 5 people on average. Social characteristics of fishermen The Akit tribe: inherit the fishing profession, believe in mystical or superstitious things, have difficulty interacting with other community groups.From the research conducted, it was found that the fishing families of the Akites in the East Bantan Village belonged to underprivileged families with a percentage of 45.8%, stage I prosperous families with a percentage of 33.4% and stage II prosperous families with a percentage of 20.8%. so it can be concluded that most of the Akit fishing families in Bantan Timur Village are mostly poor families.The role of the Bengkalis government in improving the welfare of the family of the Akit tribe is to make policies in the form of assistance given, such as Livable Houses, Fishing Assistance, Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), Rice for the poor (RASKIN), PNPM Mandiri assistance with such assistance alleviate and help the lives of the people of the Akit tribe. Keyword: Welfare, Family Of Fishermen, Akit Trust

Abstract

This research was conducted on 4 to 10 June 2013 in the Cape Betung Jorong Rambahan Nagari South Rao Pasaman District of West Sumatra Province. This study armed to: Describe the characteristics of fish seed growers, measure bussines motivation level of fish seed and Analyze relationship between several characteristics of seed growers with business motivation of fish seed growers. The method used in this study was a survey method, a total of 12 respondents.Farmers characteristics include: age, education, income, number of dependents and bussiness experience. The level of overall motivation of fish was in medium category with a score of 1.246 means bussiness the motivation to do the business of fish farmers was still dependent on the circumstances and existing capabilities. To analyze the relationship between the characteristics and farmers motivation used the Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Results of this study declare relationship with the motivation that is related to age and not being significant, the relationship between motivation and dependents have weak and not significant relationship, the relationship between motivation and education have a very weak (nonsignificant), the experience of trying to have a weak link and not and income have a significant relationship was not significant and the motivation.Keyword: Motivation, cultivators fish in the pond, Cyprinus carpio

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze break even point of smoked catfish (Pangasius sutchi) processing in the Koto Mesjid village. The method used in this study was a survey method with five (5) respondents. Break even point Analysis is analysis to determine break even point of company's management, thats mean there is no profit and no loss so can determine compatible price and sale. The results showed that the smoked fish processing pangasius in December 2013 was able to reach the break-even point (BEP) at Rp. 9.570.000 with total revenue (TR) Rp. 183.048.000, the total fixed costs (FC) Rp. 8.176.390 and total variable costs (VC) Rp. 759.247.000 and margin of safety (MoS) 95%. Based on the result, this bussiness had financial advantages that efficient with R/C ratio 1.19. The bussiness Constraints was lack of raw materials for processed catfish in the village.Keyword: Production, Marketing, Catfish, BEP, Kampar Regency

Abstract

ABSTRAKSistem pembagian hasil laut dipandang sering tidak seimbang antara bagian nelayan pemilik dan nelayan buruh sehingga sistem pembagian hasil laut sering dikritisi peneliti sebagai penyebab ketimpangan pendapatan. Satu trip penangkapan kapal mini purse seine dapat dilakukan selama 1 bulan sedangkan kapal big purse seine dapat dilakukan selama 2 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem bagi hasil usaha purse seine yang berlabuh di PPS Bungus yaitu setelah dikurangi biaya produksi, 70% untuk nelayan pemilik dan 30% untuk nelayan buruh. Bagian 30% tersebut kemudian dibagi menjadi 20% untuk seorang nahkoda dan 80% untuk nelayan buruh lainnya. Sedangkan dalam undang-undang sistem bagi hasil perikanan no.16 tahun 1964 nelayan buruh minimal memperoleh 40% dari hasil bersih. Pendapatan yang paling banyak dari bagi hasil usaha mini purse seine adalah pendapatan nelayan pemilik berjumlah Rp. 91.902.100,- per trip sedangkan pendapatan paling sedikit dari bagi hasil usaha tersebut adalah pendapatan ABK berjumlah Rp. 1.226.600,- per trip. Pendapatan yang paling banyak dari bagi hasil usaha big purse seine adalah pendapatan nelayan pemilik berjumlah Rp. 199.285.400,- per trip sedangkan pendapatan yang paling sedikit dari bagi hasil usaha big purse seine adalah pendapatan ABK berjumlah Rp. 1.870.200,- per trip.

Abstract

This research was pointed to identify tourism’s condition, to study of strategy development and to find the alternative strategy development bahari tourism in Pesona Beach, Kecamatan Rupata Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Provinsi Riau. The method of this research is study of case. The result showed that Pesona Beach have a tourism potention with long white sand in the beach, extending along ±17 km from Teluk Rhu to Tanjung Punak. Beside that, it has history destination as Puteri Sembilan and Puteri Tujuh Grave and estates from 100 years ago. The people of rupat utara have tradition “Mandi Safar”. Local Government as part of stakeholder built some infrastructure for supporting income from Development of Bahari Area in Pesona Beach such as Homestay, harbour,offices of local UPTD and connection between desa to kecamatan which is being built. From the result of the urgency analysis (SWOT analysis), showed the priority of development strategy; first step is getting the 2.4 point to do development of culture and bahari tourism (ecotourism); second step is getting 2.12 point to accelerate development of land access infrasctructure between kecamatan; and the third step is getting 1.97 point to prosper the local especially for who stay there.

Abstract

This study was conducted in january 2017 which located in business fogging Panca Usaha Bawan village Ampek Nagari subsdistrict Agam district West Sumatra province. This study aims to to analyze the cost, income and added value of processing enterprises catfishes be catfish smoke in business fogging Panca Usaha. The costs by efforts fogging catfishes Panca Usaha as much as Rp 1.733.917,- in once production. The income business fogging Panca Usaha consists of gross income (output value) much as Rp 23.310,- per kilogram raw materials with the profit obtained as much as Rp 6.060,- per kilogram raw materials. Added value produced business fogging Panca Usaha as much as Rp 8.660,- per kilogram to a ratio added value fogging catfishes of 37,15 %.Keywords: cost, profit, value added, fogging, Panca Usaha

Abstract

ABSTRAKThis research was conducted in January 2017 which is located in sub district of Airtiris Kampar regency of Riau Province. This study aims to determine the development of aquaculture as well as to determine the impact of the development of aquaculture to the income of society and employment in the urban village. The method used in this study is a Survey with the number of respondents as many as 63 people.Aquaculture in Airtiris there are two is one aquaculture in Karamba and aquaculture in pond, aquaculture in karamba every year has increased seen from the increasing number of karamba units, while aquaculture in pond decreased due to reduced land due to the constructions of building and housing. The development of aquaculture provides an opportunity for the society to create new business venture related to aquaculture. Such as the business of making karamba, pellet making business, pellet selling business, fish seed supplying business, land leasing business and food sales business around the river, thereby increasing the income of society and can reduce unemployment rate. Key Word : Aquaculture, Income, Employment.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT            His research was conducted in May 2018 in Bagan Barat Village, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The research objectives were to find out the activities of fishermen's wives, describe the use of time, and find out the contribution of fishermen's wives in helping to improve the economy of fishermen households to reduce family burden in Bagan Barat Village, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. carried out in census, that is fisherman households have wives who work. The number of respondents is 48 people.The results of this study indicate that the activities of the wives of fishermen including Undomestik activities are selling cakes as many as 3 people (6.25%), selling juice as much as 4 people (8.33%), stall for nine basic necessities (16.67%), processing salted fish as many as 10 people (20.83%), processing shrimp paste as many as 9 people (18.75%), and selling fried foods as many as 3 people (6.25%), while the activities of fishermen's wives included in public activities namely, civil servants civilians as many as 2 people (4.17%), honorary employees as many as 2 people (4.17%), fish sellers as many as 4 people (8.33%), selling rujak as much as 2 people (4.17%), and bang employees liau as many as 1 person (2.08%). The average outpouring of work time on undomestic activities is 57.95 hours / week, while the average outpouring of work time in public activities is 41.36 hours / week. The average income contribution of fisherman wives in Bagan Barat Village is 36.91%.                                      Keywords: Contributions, Undomestic and Public Activities, Outpouring of Working Time

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research about the relationship of the production and demand of Green Catfish (Mystus nemurus)was conducted on May, 2018 in Sungai Paku Village, Sub-District of Kampar Kiri, District of Kampar, Riau Province. This research was aimed to find the development of the production and demand, and also its relationship and influence between of the production and demand. The method used was Survey Development Research method. Based on the results of research that the development of demand Green Catfish (Mystus nemurus) show a upward trend and development of the production in fluctuation of Green Catfish, but in 2017 show a downward trend. The relationship of the production and demand is as much as 30%, based on the interval coefficient relations between  two vabiable is low. Ratings point in the table R2 explained that demand for Green Catfish affected as many as 9,1% of the volume of production, this means that if demand for Green Catfis as many as 100 Kg, the production result is only able to meet demand as many as 9 Kg. While the remaining as many as 91 Kg is deficiency the production of caused by factors production not discussed in this case.  Key words:, Green Catfish, Development, Demand, Production.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Mei 2017 di desa Pulau Halang Muka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kemiskinan, mendeskripsikan kondisi kemiskinan, dan untuk memberikan saran penanggulangan kemiskinan. Metode penelitian adalah menggunakan gabungan dari metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dan menggunakan anaslisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata rumah tangga nelayan buruh adalah berkategori miskin. Penyebab kemiskinan nelayan adalah : (1) Produksi perikanan rendah (2) Pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan rendah, (3) Pekerjaan alternatif kurang (4) Modal yang terbatas (5) Tingkat pendidikan rendah, (6) Nelayan masih bergantung dengan pemilik kapal, (7) Beban keluarga yang banyak dan (8) Pola konsumsi boros.  Upaya penanggulangan yang dilakukan Pemerintah Rokan Hilir untuk masyarakat nelayan berupa bantuan alat penangkapan, seperti kapal, jaring dan dari pemerintah pusat seperti Bantuan Langsung Tunai, Beras Sejahtera, asuransi nelayan dan Pengembangan Usaha Mina Perikanan. Dalam pelaksanaan bantuan tersebut masih sarat akan nepotisme sehingga tidak tepatnya sasaran bantuan. Implikasi penanggulangan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu : (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat nelayan dengan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, (2) Bimbingan dari tenaga penyuluh perikanan profesional, (3) Penumbuhan dan pengembangan Kelompok Usaha Bersama, (4) Permudah akses nelayan terhadap modal, (5) Menciptakan usaha alternatif dan (5) Meningkatkan partisipasi istri nelayan terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga.Kata Kunci: Nelayan, Penyebab Kemiskinan, Penanggulangan Kemiskinan, Pulau Halang Muka.
