Abstract

literasi budaya dapat didefinisikan sebagai sebuah keterampilan dalam memahami dan bagaimana bersikap terhadap kebudayaan sebagai identitas suatu bangsa. Dalam literasi tersebut masyarakat adat kampung Urug dituntut untuk memahami dan mengenal segala aktifitas ritual yang telah ada dan dilaksanakan secara turun temurun selama beberapa abad. Melihat hal tersebut, sangat perlu digalakkan pemahaman terkait upacara kampung adat Urug agar generasi selanjutnya tetap dapat menjalankan upacara adat sebagai bagian dari identitas dirinya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini memberikan sebuah solusi berupa deskripsi dan dokumetasi kegiatan upacara adat di kampung adat Urug kabupaten bogor

Abstract

Online learning as a method of avoiding the spread of COVID-19 adds a new dimension to the fight against this virus. The first publication with online learning as a topic can be traced back to  1986, An Algorithm for Learning Without External Supervision and Its Application to Learning Control Systems (Nikolić & Fu, 1986). Online learning in the education sector has become increasingly prominent in recent years. The study aims to discover and illustrate the direction of trend development of research on online learning during COVID-19. The study used the bibliometric analysis method. It examined 1,594 scientific articles from 159 authors across 110 countries and 160 affiliations. The information gathered between 2019 and 2021 was relevant to the topic. To visualize the result of the study, the researcher used the VOSViewer application. The study shows that research on online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic increased consistently from 2019 to 2021. This study found 1249 documents in that period. Yang H is the most co-authored author. While the most prolific writer is Hong J.C, with 8 articles. This systematic field mapping helps in graphically depicting the evolution of publications as well as identifying areas of current research interest and future research potential. These findings provide a solid basis for future research in this area.

Abstract

The study focuses on the purposes and ramifications of reference markers (it, this, and that) for teaching English in educational situations by analyzing their usage in 10 articles from Newsweek and Tempo News. The study examined the ways in which these indicators support textual coherence in professional writing using a qualitative research approach and content analysis. The information came from eleven pieces that were published for Tempo News and Newsweek. According to the results, reference markers had a less substantial role in the texts under analysis than anticipated; Newsweek had more occurrences of reference markers than Tempo News. This disparity shows that reference markers may be used differently based on target audience, writing style, and cultural norms. The study also raises the possibility of a disconnect between theoretical knowledge and real-world text application. In order to fill these gaps, teachers should enhance their understanding of successful teaching and learning reference marker tactics by incorporating real materials into their lessons and assessing students' competency levels.

Abstract

One of the success factors in blended learning is student involvement. As a result, the use of technology to influence student engagement and the efficacy of learning experiences is worth investigating. This research aims to find out what type of student involvement is in the blended learning model. Student involvement includes three aspects, namely behavioral, cognitive, and emotional aspects. There are many learning management systems used to carry out blended learning, including schoology, canvas, quipper, and others. This research uses a literature review method. Data was collected from the Scopus database. Data filtering with inquest and inclusion criteria. The findings; In various investigations on behavioral, emotional, and cognitive participation, not all of the data indicated that student involvement in blended learning increased. Other publications may not identify certain categories of engagement, yet evidence indicates improved engagement in blended learning. One article discovered behavioral, cognitive, and affective engagement. This study also demonstrates improved student participation in blended learning. This research can be continued by expanding the database and period.

Abstract

This study was to reveal the theological response and application of health protocols in Islamic boarding schools during the COVID19 pandemic. The data were obtained through observations, observations and interviews in three Islamic boarding schools: Ittifaqiyah, Aulia Cendikia and Al Burhan, a Salaf Islamic Boarding School. Aulia Cendikia is affiliated with NU and Al Burhan with Jamaah Tabligh, while Ittifaqiyah is the largest pesantren in the province but is not affiliated with any religious movement. This study revealed that in the application of health protocols in Islamic boarding schools during the pandemic, there were two things. First, Islamic boarding schools applied rules in the form of SOPs for virus prevention strictly. This was performed by Pesantren Aulia Cendikia and Ittifaqiyah. Meanwhile, Al Burhan tent to apply loosely. It was concluded that the level of an Islamic boarding school and the school it adhered could determine the response to health protocols in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach. The research method used is research and development using a combination of development models from Borg & Gall and 4D Thiagarajan. This research aims to find out how the development, feasibility, and effectiveness of the learning model is being developed. This research uses a sample of students majoring in English. The feasibility test was carried out by three experts: design, media, and learning materials experts. The effectiveness test was carried out by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test. This research shows that the model developed is suitable for application in learning. Apart from that, the results of the comparison of results show that the post-test value is 7.84 greater than the pre-test result. This shows that the model developed is effective. This research can be used as a reference for policymakers in higher education, and this learning model is feasible to implement. Further research can be carried out for courses with other development models.

Abstract

PT. Borneo Real Properti is a part of the PT Fachri Property Group, part of the largest property developer in West Kalimantan which operates in the property sector (Real Estate). ). This company was founded on June 7 2018, founded by Mr. Mochammad Fachri S, Sos. PT Borneo Real Properti utilizes social media in marketing housing. The efforts made are by carrying out promotions on several social media such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube and Tiktok. In this research, data was obtained through informants. The informants in this research are consumers, potential consumers, marketing staff, and HRD managers.  This research aims to determine the effectiveness of social media on housing marketing at PT Borneo Real Properti. This research is qualitative research. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. Analyze this research data using qualitative data analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that social media is effective in marketing housing as seen from the fact that after using social media PT Borneo Real Properti's consumers increase every month and housing sales increase every year. Barriers to marketing housing via social media are expensive advertising costs and competition between property companies with interesting content on social media.

Abstract

In contrast to conventional solitary methods, this quasi-experimental study investigates the effects of controlled peer interaction, utilizing the round-robin methodology, on writing development. 120 intermediate-level students were split into experimental (n = 60) and control (n = 60) groups using a mixed-methods design. While qualitative classroom observations examined turn-taking equality, feedback quality, and nonverbal involvement, quantitative pre- and post-test assessments scored writing fluency, coherence, and complexity. According to the results, the experimental group demonstrated a significant improvement on the post-test, with a mean gain of 37.66 points compared to 19.04 points (p < 0.001). It achieved a normalized learning gain (N-Gain) of 77.69%, nearly twice that of the control group’s 39.36%. In contrast to control-group dominance hierarchies (38.3% low equity) and superficial feedback (43.3% vagueness), qualitative findings showed that the experimental class had high turn-taking equity (63.3% balanced participation), constructive feedback (58.3% specificity), and active non-verbal engagement (66.7% eye contact, open posture). The study, based on Vygotsky’s socio-cultural theory, emphasizes how organized peer collaboration democratizes participation and promotes critical discourse, thereby scaffolding writing skills. These results support the use of round-robin techniques in writing instruction to strike a balance between independence and dependency, converting classrooms into centers of group knowledge.

Abstract

Background: A clean and healthy environment is a basic need for society and a crucial factor in improving the quality of life and supporting sustainable development. However, the increase in non-biodegradable plastic waste causes serious environmental and health problems. Effective plastic waste management through innovative recycling practices is essential. Effective plastic waste management is a major challenge in maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability. Purpose: To improve community understanding and skills in processing plastic waste into environmentally friendly and economically valuable eco-paving blocks. Method: This community service activity was conducted on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Kandang Besi Village. The participant population was 35 people, consisting of representatives from eight hamlets from Kandang Besi, Tanjung Betuah, Sukajaya, Kembahang, Bandung Jaya, Sinar Jaya, Sinar Baru, and Tuban. The activity included education on plastic waste utilization with the theme SAPA BUMI (Plastic Waste for Paving, Clean for the Earth) and a demonstration of eco-paving block production. Results: A composition of 20% aggregate (sand), 60% plastic waste, and 20% used oil (solvent) produced poor quality and fragile eco paving blocks. Meanwhile, a second test, using 30% aggregate (sand), 60% plastic waste, and 10% used oil (solvent), produced fairly good, more solid, and less fragile eco paving blocks. Increasing public understanding through this innovation has the potential to reduce plastic waste accumulation while increasing the community's economic value through environmentally friendly products. Conclusion: Community service activities involving education on the use of plastic waste have successfully increased public understanding regarding plastic waste management, particularly as a raw material for making eco paving blocks and maintaining environmental health. Suggestion: Further research and technological development are recommended to ensure wider and more sustainable application of eco paving blocks. Keywords: Eco paving blocks; Environmental health; Community empowerment; Plastic waste; Waste management Pendahuluan: Lingkungan hidup yang bersih dan sehat merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi masyarakat dan menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup serta mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Namun, peningkatan limbah plastik yang sulit terurai secara alami menyebabkan masalah serius bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan. pengelolaan limbah plastik yang efektif melalui inovasi pemanfaatan ulang sangat diperlukan Pengelolaan limbah plastik yang efektif menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah plastik menjadi bahan baku eco paving block yang ramah lingkungan dan bernilai ekonomis. Metode: Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan pada hari Sabtu, 16 Agustus 2025, di Pekon Kandang Besi. Populasi peserta kegiatan ini adalah 35 orang yang terdiri dari perwakilan 8 dusun dari Kandang Besi, Tanjung Betuah, Sukajaya, Kembahang, Bandung Jaya, Sinar Jaya, Sinar Baru dan Tuban. Kegiatan terdiri dari edukasi mengenai pemanfaatan sampah plastik dengan tema SAPA BUMI (Sampah Plastik untuk Paving, Bersih untuk Bumi) dan demonstrasi pembuatan eco paving block. Hasil: Dengan komposisi agregat (pasir) 20%, Limbah plastik (60%), dan Oli bekas (pelarut) 20% menghasilkan eco paving block yang kurang baik dan rapuh, sedangkan untuk uji kedua dimana dengan komposisi agregat (pasir) 30%, Limbah plastik (60%), dan Oli bekas (pelarut) 10% menghasilkan eco paving block yang cukup baik dan lebih solid tidak rapuh. Meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat dengan inovasi ini berpotensi mengurangi akumulasi limbah plastik sekaligus meningkatkan nilai ekonomi masyarakat melalui produk ramah lingkungan. Simpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa edukasi pemanfaatan limbah sampah plastik berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan sampah plastik, khususnya sebagai bahan baku pembuatan eco paving block dan menjaga kesehatan lingkungan. Saran: Diharapkan untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan serta pengembangan teknologi agar penerapan eco paving block dapat lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Research conducted by researchers on the development of interactive PowerPoint learning media based on Information And Communication Technologies is based on conceptual and theoretical understanding using thematic learning that is felt to be not fully understood by students, this has resulted in decreased student learning outcomes. To solve problems in the learning process, learning media is needed. The purpose of this research is to implement the development of interactive PowerPoint media using ICT for fifth-grade students of SDN 1 Gamping. This media was developed in the form of several slides which are equipped with buttons that are inserted by hyperlinks in the learning menu so that it will make it easier for the user to go to the slide after the specified slide. This study used the ADDIE research model as a development model. The research findings showed an average material validity score of 80% (appropriate), an average language validity score of 92% (very feasible), and an average media validity score of 88% (very feasible). Calculation of media effectiveness based on n-gain obtained a score of 0.59 in the medium category. Responses to ICT-based interactive PowerPoint learning media were obtained from small-scale tests with an average score of 80% while field-scale tests obtained an average value of 86%, overall Student responses related to media can be said to be positive. So that the analysis data obtained states that ICT-based interactive PowerPoint learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
