Abstract

Style Queen Kebaya Store (SQ Kebaya) is a store that is engaged in apparel, its product sales focus includes adult and children's kebaya. The negative impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic has proven that the Store (SQ Kebaya) has experienced a decline in sales turnover in 2020, therefore the SQ Kebaya Store's efforts to restore its sales activities are by giving gifts for customer appreciation during the COVID 19 season through selecting the best customers for the 2020 period. However, the problem faced by SQ Kebaya Stores in the process of evaluating the best customer selection is that there is no criterion weight so that the decision making is not right on target, making the best customer decisions less efficient because they have to look for customer sales records manually in the sales record book. This study produces a web-based decision support system for selecting the best customers at SQ Kebaya Stores using the AHP (criteria weight), SAW and WASPAS (best customer ranking) methods, this study produces priority weights and importance levels of each criterion, namely status (0.37 ), method of payment (0.23), total spending (0.14), quantity (0.13), intensity of visits (0.07), length of subscription (0.07) and the result of ranking the percentage of the largest alternative value is the alternative SAW method with an average of 0.6952 , while the WASPAS method is 0.6405. It can be concluded that the right method used to obtain the best alternative value is the SAW method.

Abstract

Abstract

A query is a syntax or command used in a database system to access and display data. Queries can be used to make data interact with each other. To display query results in the database, of course, requires execution time which is usually denoted in seconds. Execution time is directly proportional to the amount of data to be displayed and the level of complexity of the database. To speed up query execution time, the term database optimization is known. One of the database optimization methods is to use the b-tree indexing technique the database. This study aims to compare the execution time of databases that have not been indexed or that have been indexed with data objects in the MySQL database MPN-Info application at the Jakarta Palmerah Tax Office (KPP Pratama Jakarta Palmerah). This application was developed to supervise taxpayers which is used in almost all tax service offices throughout Indonesia. The data used is active employee status taxpayer data registered until 2020 with the reporting of Annual Personal Income Tax Returns in 2019 and 2020. The study uses an experimental method by applying a select query, then the execution time is recorded well for unindexed and indexed databases. The gradient method will be used for compare the results of the two. The results obtained are after taking the population of taxpayers registered employees up to year In 2020 at KPP Pratama Jakarta Palmerah, 31,238 data were compared with the annual reporting data, the average execution time before indexing was 255.585 seconds and the average time after indexing was 1.341 seconds and the gradient value before indexing was 0.0211 and after indexing was 0.0001. This proves that the indexing technique has a significant impact in accelerating the query execution process.

Abstract

Microservices architecture, a distributed framework architecture that allows changes to one module without interfering with other modules. The implementation of this architecture has its own challenges. The get-list-attachment API running on this architecture takes an average of 12.5 seconds to serve data. This needs to be considered because business processes require shorter access times to support decision making. The research objective is to obtain query response time efficiency for accounting applications. To achieve this, the research uses database optimization techniques with logic execution optimization microservices architecture. This study obtained the source of information from the Accounting Harmony Accounting Module, which has an API (get-list-attachment) with data sourced from Service Accounting (581253 records) and Service Users (2182 records). Based on a series of tests carried out, several services need to be added with APIs to improve the microservices architecture to accept bulk parameters that generate a list of objects so that data presentation is more optimal. After doing a series of engineering on microservices architecture and indexing application, query response time performance increased by 49.22% for Service Accounting module.
