Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh  prokrastinasi akademik terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Makassar tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 335 siswa, diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik  random sampling. Variabel yang diteliti adalah: (1) variabel bebas adalah prokrastinasi akademik  dengan simbol X; (2) variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar dengan simbol Y. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket untuk memperoleh skor prokrastinasi akademik, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari dokumentasi nilai hasil belajar biologi tahun akademik 2017/2018 siswa pada SMA Negeri 1 Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan;  pengaruh prokastinasi akademik terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Makassar berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of learning media of E-Learning based on Edmodo toward learning outcomes of biology students at the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of fourth-semester where 45 students selected as the sample. The sample consisted of 22 students in experimental group and 23 students in control group.  The result showed that the Sig value was smaller than the level of significance (α). The hypothesis testing with t-test (independent-sample t-test) obtained a sig value was 0.006 with a significance level (α) was 0.0. It appears that there is an effect of E-Learning based on Edmodo toward student's learning outcomes of biology education at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar.

Abstract

This development research focused on producing a practicum guide for Biology Education students on Animal Diversity based on Contextual Learning and Teaching. The study used a four-stage process model, which included define, design, develop, and disseminate. The result showed the Animal Diversity practicum guide based on Contextual Teaching and Learning obtained has an average validation value of 91.66% with very valid criteria. It indicated that this product is appropriate for use. The average value of the product was 89.11% which fulfills the practical criteria that mean the student can easily use it. Further research is needed to assess the effective value of the developed product.
