Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat menuntut adanya peningkatan literasi digital, khususnya di kalangan siswa. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan siswa asrama MAN 2 Kota Padangsidimpuan. Melalui sosialisasi dengan cara diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung, program ini mengajarkan siswa tentang penggunaan perangkat digital yang bijak, keamanan dalam berinternet, serta kemampuan untuk mencari, mengevaluasi, dan memanfaatkan informasi secara efektif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi forum diskusi dan simulasi dengan bantuan para ahli teknologi informasi. Hasil pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi digital siswa, mempersiapkan mereka untuk tantangan masa depan, dan mendorong terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang inovatif. Selain itu, hasil dari program pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan digital siswa, yang berkontribusi pada kesiapan mereka menghadapi era teknologi informasi.

Peningkatan hasil belajar pada satuan pendidikan sangat erat kaitannya dengan strategi kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah. Namun pun demikian pengalaman kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah harus didukung oleh pendampingan intens dari pengawas sekolah. Dalam konteks Sekolah Penggerak, pengawas harus melakukan coaching secara intens kepada kepala sekolah. Dalam proses kegiatan coaching, seorang pengawas sekolah menggali setiap potensi yang dimiliki oleh satuan pendidikan selanjutnya mengarahkan kepala sekolah untuk melakukan inovasi dalam meningkatkan mutu dan prestasi peserta didik. Jadi, pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengawas sekolah penggerak untuk melakukan kegiatan coaching khususnya di Kabupaten Asahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode andragogy atau pembelajaran untuk orang dewasa dengan sejumlah tahapan pelaksanaan, mulai dari diri, eksplorasi konsep dan refleksi terbimbing. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pengawas sekolah telah mampu mendemonstrasikan sejumlah metode coaching yang terukur dan akurat. Selain itu, pengawas sekolah juga telah mampu melakukan kreasi dan inovasi dalam pengembangan metode coaching.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena yang nyata dari situasi siswa didalam menganalisis part of speech sebagai pengetahuan dasar mereka dalam memahami kemampuan ber Bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif. Data dianalisis dan diambil dari smahasiswa semester tiga program jurusan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Graha Nusantara Kota Padangsidimpuan di kelas matakuliah Curriculum and Textbook Analysis. Tugas dari mahasiswa adalah menganalisis part of speech dari kamus Inggris- Indonesia yang ditulis oleh pengarang M John Echols dan Hassan Shadily.terdapat delapan jenis part of speech yang dianalisis yaitu; verb, noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction and interjection.hasil yang didapatkan selama proses analisis adalah baik. Karena sambil menganalisis, mahasiswa mengetahui banyak pengetahuan. Mahasiswa juga menjadi familiar dalam membuka kamus dan mengetahui apa yang akan dicari dari kamus itu. selain ilmu menganalisis, mahasiswa juga mendapat pengetahuan tentang ilmu phonology, ilmu pronunciation dan ilmu phonetics.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada pembaca, bagaimana numeral diajarkan pada mahasiswa PKN semester II di Universitas Graha Nusantara yang berjumlah 15 mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Jenis numeral yang diajarkan kepada mahasiswa ada dua yaitu bilangan cardinal dan ordinal. Setelah dua jenis bilangan ini diajarkan selama satu semester, mereka sangat bahagia setelah belajar numeral. Hasil nya dapat dilihat dari kondisi mereka melakukan praktek conversation dikelas dan terlihat juga dari hasil tulisan mereka. Sekarang mereka bisa menulis tanggal dengan benar, menulis jumlah uang dalam Bahasa Inggris dengan benar dan menghitung uang dengan tepat. Realita hasil yang didapat dilapangan, masih ada beberapa siswa masih kesusahan membedakan bilangan cardinal dan bilangan ordinal. Para siswa juga memiliki kesusahan didalam mengucapkan bilangan ordinal. Bilangan cardinal jauh lebih mudah diucapkan.

Penguasaan bahasa Inggris dasar merupakan keterampilan penting di era globalisasi, termasuk bagi siswa Madrasah Diniyah Awaliyah (MDA) di daerah pedesaan seperti Siamporik Dolok. Namun, minimnya akses terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang menarik dan kontekstual menjadi kendala utama. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata dan percakapan bahasa Inggris sederhana siswa MDA melalui metode pelatihan interaktif berbasis permainan, lagu, dan praktik langsung. Metode yang digunakan meliputi: (1) penyampaian materi kosakata tematik (keluarga, sekolah, aktivitas sehari-hari), (2) simulasi percakapan pendek, dan (3) evaluasi melalui kuis dan role-play. Peserta terdiri dari 20 siswa MDA dengan tingkat pemahaman bahasa Inggris yang masih dasar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penguasaan kosakata (rata-rata pretest 45% meningkat menjadi 78% pada post-test) serta keberanian siswa untuk berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris. Antusiasme peserta terlihat dari partisipasi aktif dalam setiap sesi. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan praktis dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi keterbatasan fasilitas belajar di daerah pedesaan. Diharapkan, program berkelanjutan dapat dikembangkan untuk memperkuat fondasi bahasa Inggris siswa MDA.

Grammar is a core subject of writing skill in learning English language. Mastering grammar needs a lot of ways, technique or methods therefore, to all of English lectures or teachers should be able to teach it in easy and nice technique. Whereas, a researchers found in their classroom teaching there were more than 50% students are lack of grammar’s understanding in the English sentences. Although some of them understand about tenses in explanation, but most of them could not able to analyse when it was completed in the sentence. This research is focus on the understanding of grammar by analyzing the English sentences (simple sentence and compound sentence). The method used is classroom action research and the purpose of the research is to enrich the students’ understanding about grammar through the sentence analysis. The result of the research shows the improvement of students towards grammar. The pre-test result was 55 % students are lack of grammar understanding however after doing ten meetings for understanding grammar by analysing the sentences, the students’ improvement was raised to 85%. Teaching grammar is a challenging for the researchers themselves because there are so many students are not interested in learning it. Finally in the end of semester they were change their mind about grammar. Essentially, analyzing sentences is so attractive to do and able to improve their ability about grammar.

The essence of learning is an activity carried out by a person to gainknowledge and skills as a provision for the future. Learning with teachers andfriends in class, joking and playing together is a special moment now forstudents after so many months of studying and working from home using theinternet. Therefore, choosing fun English learning activities with nature is theright solution for children in Mompang Village. Learning in nature is done withgroup friends and accompanied by the PKM team. They study outside the room,some study in the village hall yard, in the residents' garden and some even go tostudy behind the residents' houses where the locations are rice fields, gardens,cowsheds and mountains. The method used is direct learning or direct learning.Learn to practice and end by the PKM team. In conclusion, learning Englishwith nature makes it easier for children to understand English. They are veryenthusiastic and eager to learn in nature.

The pandemic has accompanied the education sector for about one year. Every student used to use mobile phone as the schools’ tool to have a home class learning. While, the signal of internet has not spread all over the villages in north Sumatera, they have difficulty to get the signal for joining the learning process. Among all the learning applications now, WhatsApp is the chosen application for the students in learning speaking class. The method uses in this research is descriptive method The data obtained from the true and recent condition of the third semester students of civics program at education and teaching faculty of Universitas Graha Nusantara. The result of this research tells the students’ real condition in learning speaking by using WhatsApp application for this pandemic situation. WhatsApp was chosen because there were many students lived in the remote area which has no internet signal. A researcher focuses on teaching the English basic for daily communication. The advantages of teaching speaking for non-English students give them supplies to communicate using English in this recent developing era.

This research investigates the effectiveness of using short stories to improve reading comprehension skills among Class VIII students at the Karya Sejahtera Padangsidimpuan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Education Foundation. The study involved 30 randomly selected students, and data was collected through both literature review and field research. A written test was administered as the data collection instrument. Statistical analysis was conducted to analyze the results. The findings revealed a significant increase in students' reading comprehension skills after the implementation of short stories. The average scores improved from 53 in the pre-test to 60 in posttest 1 and further to 90.87 in posttest 2. The percentage increase between pre-test and posttest 1 was 23.33%, while between pre-test and post-test 2 it was 70.3%. These results suggest that incorporating short stories in teaching can effectively enhance students' reading comprehension abilities. This research contributes to the body of knowledge on innovative teaching methods and their impact on educational outcomes, particularly in the context of Madrasah Tsanawiyah education.

The research’s goal is to know the students ‘skill in vocabulary through Flashcards in learning English. The number of samples of this research was 30 students using the purposive sampling technique of VII-B class. Qualitative research method is applied for this research of the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design in order to know the increasing of the students’ skill in mastering vocabulary through Flashcards. The instrument of the research is a test by giving the multiple-choice items. All of the data are collected and analyzed to get the conclusion as a result of this research. The result of the research showed that the students vocabulary result in pre-test before using flashcard mean score 43.67. It was done three meetings for learning process using flashcard method at the classroom and one meeting for the test of cycle 1. The mean score of the cycle 1 test was 68.67. then, the cycle 2 process was done three meetings for learning process and one meeting for doing the test. Based on the finding the result of cycle 1 mean score was improved and increased, it can be seen from the mean score 81.17. The finding hypothesis is also accepted. Finally, there is the increasing student’s skill towards vocabulary by using flashcard.
