Abstract

Public complaints are needed in an agency to find out the success of the work, improve deficiencies and receive advice from the tasks that have been carried out. Public complaints usually occur in the field of facilities and public services, where the sector is handled by the Department of Transportation. The public complaint has not been conveyed properly, making the community confused about who to complain to. So in this study discusses about developing a public complaint application on the Transportation Department of Malang City based on Android to facilitate the public in reporting complaints. This application uses the Location Based Service feature that is used to make it easier to find the location of the reporter. Public complaints application can send proof of complaints that occur such as photos through the smartphone application by taking photos from the camera directly or from the reporter's smartphone gallery. Mobile applications are implemented using the Java programming language while the web for administrators is built using the Laravel Framework. This application is tested using whitebox testing for unit testing and integration testing, blackbox testing for testing validation and usability testing. The test results on the application of public complaints state that this application can run as needed and can be used easily by users by having a 83,75 System Usability Scale score or can be said to be acceptable.

Abstract

Posyandu is health services program where it facilitated by government to community, however the program is from goverment, posyandu held by community to comunnity. Although this program held by community, the Ministry of Health also has a role in overseeing and supporting every activity in the posyandu both technically and financially. Posyandu offers the community so many services such as Basic Health Service for mother and child, Family Planning Service, Immunization for Kids and Infants, Information of aNutrition Delivery Service, and Diarrhea Prevention and Treatment Service. All of the services are written on a pocket book that happens to be the health guidance. But information in the form of a book still has some boundaries in its usage. We often forget where we put the book or even it gets lost. So that the author is currently doing a research of developing an application that may help record the process of administration recording of Posyandu's services and remember the Posyandu's activity schedule, by recording administration of posyandu service in an application that can help the community to obtain information about posyandu services and remember schedules of the posyandu. This application is developed using Java programming language and using firebase database technology to save data of the application. Firebase is the newes of technology by Google that can be use to many platform one of many of the platform is mobile. So this application can remind the user to be able to remember posyandu activities according to the existing schedule. This application can be developed based on design program. This application already tested using some software testing, that is unit testing, integration testing and validation testing. This application can be used easily, based on testing that has been done using usability testing, that get 83,5 score of SUS, this score is classified to the acceptable category.

Abstract

The internet is a set of Autonomous Systems that are connected to each other to send data packages. In choosing a route to send data, a certain routing protocol is needed. This research is important to know which routing protocol has the best performance. In this study using OSPF, RIP and EIGRP routing protocols that are implemented in the mesh topology and measured performance based on delay parameters, update routing table, packet loss and throughput. Simulation and testing results show EIGRP has the lowest average delay value compared to OSPF and RIP. The results of testing the update routing table, EIGRP has the fastest update routing value compared to OSPF and RIP. The packet loss test results in OSPF, RIP and EIGRP in mesh topology are 0% or there is no packet loss. Throughput test results, OSPF has the highest throughput value compared to EIGRP and RIP. So EIGRP has the best performance based on delay parameters and update routing table. And OSPF has the best performance based on throughput parameters.

Abstract

UKM Bali Tekindo Jaya is one of the small and medium-sized businesses that offers repair and installation services in electronic appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, rice cookers, washing machines, water heaters, and so on. In running a business, improving the quality of service to customers certainly needs to be supported by good and effective business management so that a management system is needed that can help maximize business services in Bali Tekindo Jaya SMEs. To help manage the business management of Bali Tekindo Jaya SMEs, this document discusses the development of a website-based management system that uses the CodeIgniter framework with php languages ​​and MySQL as the database. This system focuses on business management equipped with booking service features, agendas, reports, assessments, testimonials, and notifications using the SMS Gateway. The test results carried out by the black box and white box method on the website show that all functional systems can be run properly, which is valid in all test cases. The systems usability shows that the system satisfying user also the systems compatibility testing carried out on various web browsers shows that the management system that has been developed does not have significant problems when run on various browsers.

Abstract

Internet users are increasing, causing access demands to a service to increase, which results in the possibility of overloading the server as well. This problem can solve with load balancing technology. The development of network architecture now leads to the Software Defined Network (SDN) because SDN is a architecture that is manageable, dynamic, cost-effective, and adaptable. Previous research has applied load balancing technology on SDN networks using the weighted least-connection algorithm. However, the research still uses flow, which has expired time. In other studies that use the least connection algorithm (LCA) have overcome the problem of expired flow using psutil agents. But the results of the study showed very high CPU usage and unstable traffic distribution. Therefore, this study will apply the psutil agent-based method to the Load Balancing system on SDN networks using the weighted least connection (WLCA) algorithm and determine the performance of the agent-based method. The functional test results show that the psutil agent can send the value of the information on the number of connections on the server to the controller with an error value of 0%. The application of the psutil agent to the weighted least connection algorithm is also better. In testing 500 requests, the response time of WLCA was 29ms while at LCA was 33ms, the value of memory utilization in WLCA was 20.9% while LCA was 21% and the value of CPU utilization in WLCA was 81.2% while at LCA is 84.3%. On the other side, on the 300 and 500 request tests, WLCA algorithm traffic distribution is more stable compared to the LCA algorithm.

Abstract

Married is activity that everyone will do someday when they grown up. Based on Badan Pusat Statistik's data on 2015 there's 1.958.394 couples who had married in Indonesia, in East Java itself, there's 313.150 couples who had married and had recorded. It's a lot of number if its compared to a number of all couples who had married in Indonesia. The marriage itself, has an aim to unite two persons in marriage vows. Theres must be a wedding ceremony to celebrate that marriage. That wedding ceremony have some kind of variant that based on the tradition, tribe, the habit and the religion of the couple. So the couple wants the wedding ceremony be the unforgetable one. In wedding ceremony, theres banquets for the guests, decorations, make up for the bride and the groom and the gifts. But, theres a lot of couples that hard to arrange their time to find the right vendor or wedding organizer that suit their wedding's theme and to arrange the wedding ceremony. Beside, information about the vendor or wedding organizer are difficult to find, because of the lack of promotion. So, that's why this research are made to develop a system to connect the vendor with the couples. There's 2 platform in this system, that are in website and mobile. For the vendor, they can access the website platform to input detail information about their bussiness. For the couple, they can access the mobile platform to search and get information about vendor. While developing this system, the researcher use the Restful Webservice method to share data between that platform, so the system can't directly access the data in database. And the system access data from API that it provided in JSON form.

Abstract

Hadoop is a distributed system use to process large amounts of data whith is stored in several groups of compute. Hadoop has three main connected component namely hadoop distributed file system, mapreduce and Yet Another Resource Negotiator it also called YARN. YARN is used as a resource which regulases cluster processing and hadoop scheduling. There are several scheduling algorithm on Hadoop including capacity scheduling and for share scheduling. Capacity scheduling algoritm is an algorithm that can make schedule in YARN by executing job first. Each scheduling has priority for resource and cluster while slot in scheduling idle, so the scheduling can be use directly even it has not priority. Fair share scheduling algorithm is an algorithme that runs at each hadoop cluster so that cluster on each job are equal. This research was hold to optimize performance of fair share algorithme and to compaire performance of these algorithme wit capacity scheduling using parameters job fail rate, responce time and throughput. Based on the results of testing that has been do. In the fair share algorithm the difference in the average value of failrate parameters is 0.623% better than the capacity scheduling algorithm, the responce time parameter is 5.44 minute better than the capacity scheduling algorithm and the throughput is 0.596 Job/minute better than the capacity scheduling algorithm so the average value the fair share algorithm is better than the capacity scheduling value.

Abstract

Parents awareness in giving active immunizations to children in fact is still quite low. Based on data from Ministry of Health, it shows that in 2014 to 2016 there were about 1.7 million children in Indonesia who have not been immunized yet or their status of immunization is still incomplete. Based on the problems above, this document will be discus about the development of system that could provide a notification feature of immunization schedule and also could provide a monitoring feature both on the pregnancy growth and the child growth. The development of this system in total has 46 functional recruitments and 1 non-functional recruitment. System on admin side developed using waterfall life cycle and implemented using CodeIgniter framework with PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. While system on user side who are the expectant mother and the mother of the child that registered under puskesmas implemented using Android. The test result carried out by black box testing and white box testing show that all functional system can run properly, which is valid in all test cases. Whilst the compatibility test show that system can run on 7 different platform.

Abstract

Laboratory of Prof.Dr.Soerojo Magelang Mental Hospital is medical support installation that has a function of serving the community to carry out examinations in diagnosing, healing, and recovering diseases. Operational and productivity in the laboratory need to be supported by good inventory management. However, this laboratory has several problems in inventory management. The main problem is finding a stock card to use an item which take a lot of time, so that the officers often make use of the item even before writing it in the stock card, it causses disrepancy between the physical data and data in the list. In the other hand, the receipt data records is written conventionally inside a book which causes the records to be piled up. Because of there are too many number of item, makes the recapitulation of the received and used items will be prone to errors. To reduce these problems, a system that could manage laboratory inventory should be developed. This system was developed based on web and using codeigniter framework with progressive web application technology to provide easy access. This research resulted in 91 functional needs and 1 non-functional needs with the features of managing demand, receipt, use, and report. The results of the system testing on unit testing produced valid status in 3 sample units, integration testing produced valid status, validation testing produced valid status on 91 needs and the alternatives, and compatibility testing shows that the system is free from critical issues so means that the system meet the compatibility aspect.

Abstract

The intermediate semester is one of the programs which has its own regulatory policies by the university, both in time determining and implementing regulation. It can be found at the Faculty of Computer Science of Brawijaya University (FILKOM UB), which is needed suitability to the prevailing business processes. There are three main processes in the intermediate semester, namely data collection, registration, and implementation. In the data collection process, there was a discrepancy between the assessor and the class that would be opened in the intermediate semester. In the registration process, there was problems with the discrepancy of interest in the course that will be taken by the participants. Based on the problems, it causes retardments in the implementation process and detrimental to stakeholder in the intermediate semester. This problems can be resolve by the web based development of intermediate semester according to procedure and user requirements using the CodeIgniter Framework with the MYSQL database, and payment gateway to make a payment transaction in realtime system. Based on requirements elicitation and analysis, the research obtained 43 functional requirements, 11 entities, and 24 data tables. The system information development resulted 100% of valid status from the whole unit testing and validation testing, and produce 100% on compatibility testing that categorized as critical issue in 11 browsers. So, the development system of intermediate semester can be run based on user requirements.
