Abstract

Yanuardi, M. Abstract

The rapid growth of digital services such as e-commerce applications, digital banking, and app-based public services has significantly increased the volume of user complaints, making manual complaint classification inefficient. This study aims to develop and evaluate a Large Language Model (LLM)-based approach for classifying user complaints on digital services using a zero-shot prompting scheme. A small sample of 60 user complaints was collected and grouped into five categories: customer service, application or technical issues, payment and transaction, delivery, and data security and privacy. The research method consists of data collection, text preprocessing, labelling, LLM-based classification, and model performance evaluation. Testing on the small sample shows that the LLM was able to classify complaints with an accuracy of 86.7%, a weighted precision of 87.2%, a weighted recall of 86.7%, and a weighted F1-score of 86.8%. Most misclassifications occurred between contextually overlapping categories, namely payment or transaction and application or technical issues. The findings indicate that LLMs have strong potential as an efficient and accurate solution to support automated user complaint handling in digital services.

Abstract

The disparity in staple food prices across regions in Indonesia is a structural problem exacerbated by the country's geographical conditions as an archipelago. This study aims to examine the extent to which maritime logistics connectivity can reduce these price disparities. Using a mixed-methods approach, this study analyzed panel data from 34 provinces between 2020 and 2025 combined with semi-structured interviews involving 42 supply chain stakeholders. Estimation results indicate that a one-unit increase in port connectivity scores is associated with a 4.7%-6.2% decrease in the coefficient of variation of inter-island rice prices (p < 0.01). The Sea Toll Program has proven successful in narrowing the price gap between Java and Papua, from 47% in 2019 to 31% in 2025. This impact is further reinforced by the implementation of the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE). The findings indicate that although maritime connectivity is an important prerequisite, intermodal logistics integration remains essential for achieving sustainable food price equity.

Abstract

Abstract

PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Witel Aceh experienced a reduction in the number of employees due to organizational transformation and human resource restructuring. The number of permanent employees decreased from 51 in 2022 to 22 in 2025, representing a decline of 59%. This condition potentially increases workload and may affect employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of employee reduction and work motivation on employee performance at PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Witel Aceh. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method with a census technique involving all 22 permanent employees. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that all measurement indicators meet validity and reliability criteria. The structural model shows an R-square value of 0.63, indicating that employee reduction and work motivation explain 63% of the variance in employee performance. Hypothesis testing reveals that both variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This study concludes that effective management of employee reduction and enhancement of work motivation are important to maintain employee performance during organizational transformation

Abstract

Workload is a collection of tasks set to be completed within a specific time. The workload can be broken down into "qualitative" (too much or too little) or "quantitative" (too much or too little), which occurs when people are unable to complete tasks or if they do not utilize the abilities they have in achieving a particular job. This study aimed to determine the workload of workers engaged in the sale of fresh or cut chicken meat. Cardiovascular Load is an estimate to determine the classification of workload based on the increase in work pulse compared to the maximum heart rate. The Defense Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) method is a multidimensional technique that involves participants through subjective questions and assessments consisting of four workload dimensions: input demand, central demand, output demand, and time pressure. The results showed that the workload pulse using Cardiovascular Load, the level of fatigue based on workload obtained at the chicken slaughter station by worker 1 was 44.77%, and worker 2 was 41.11% with the category of improvement needed. At the chicken cleaning station, worker 1 was 44.13%, and worker 2 was 47.43%, with the category of needed improvement. At the chicken cutting station, worker 1 was 43.73%, and worker 2 was 45.85%, with the category of needed improvement. The study's DRAWS method results showed that at the chicken slaughtering station, worker 1 was 84.25%, and worker 2 was 87.05% with the overload category. At the chicken cleaning station, worker 1 was 86.75%, and worker 2 was 84.20% with the overload category. At the chicken cutting station, worker 1 was 85.75%, and worker 2 was 81.30%, with the overload category. This means that six respondents felt a high mental burden, so improvements are needed to reduce the impact of the cognitive workload of workers. The upgrades provided include the provision of chairs around the work area, especially at the chicken slaughtering station, so that workers can sit and rest for a moment to reduce the physical workload experienced by workers.

Abstract

Production decision-making in agroindustry is often affected by raw material price fluctuations, which can influence production costs, profitability, and operational sustainability. Rumah Produksi Bersama (RPB) Kabupaten Batu Bara, as a chili paste processing industry, still determines production decisions based on a simple raw material price threshold without considering the quantitative impact on production feasibility. This study aims to develop a production decision model for chili paste based on sensitivity analysis of raw material prices. The research used a quantitative model development approach through observation, interviews, documentation, production cost analysis, and sensitivity analysis. The developed model integrates raw material cost analysis, total production cost, cost of goods manufactured (COGM), break-even point (BEP), profit margin, critical raw material price determination, and production decision rules. The results show that the critical raw material price is Rp35,806/kg, which represents the maximum price limit before the company reaches the break-even condition. The model generates decision rules where production is conducted when the raw material price is below the critical value, considered when equal to the critical value, and postponed when exceeding the critical value. The developed model provides a more objective and systematic decision-making approach compared to the existing system. This model can support RPB Kabupaten Batu Bara in managing production risks and improving adaptability toward raw material price fluctuations.

Abstract

King Koffie is a business engaged in the production of ground coffee and coffee roasting. In its production activities, the company relies on coffee bean supplies from several suppliers, each with different characteristics. Currently, the supplier selection process at King Koffie is still carried out conventionally and largely depends on subjective considerations, such as the closeness of relationships and long-term cooperation, without a systematic evaluation. This study employs the ORESTE method to determine the priority ranking of suppliers. The evaluation criteria include quality, price, responsiveness/service, and delivery. The ORESTE method is applied to identify the best Arabica coffee bean supplier based on the priority of criteria established by the business owner. The results indicate that the weights of the criteria are 0.5208 for quality, 0.2708 for price, 0.1458 for responsiveness/service, and 0.0625 for delivery. These findings show that quality is the most important criterion in the supplier selection process. The preference values calculated using the distance score are 2.182367621 for Supplier A, 3.183554881 for Supplier B, 2.419090234 for Supplier C, 2.92661611 for Supplier D, and 2.686041486 for Supplier E. Since the supplier with the lowest preference value is considered the highest priority, Supplier A is identified as the best supplier with a preference value of 2.182367621.
