Abstract

Coffee is an important agricultural product that makes a major contribution to the Indonesian economy. In other words, as a source of farmers' income, job creation, foreign exchange earner, industrial product producer, and development. The problem with the upstream coffee farming industry is that the productivity level of Indonesian coffee is lower compared to other major coffee producing countries in the world. This study aims to determine the production factors that affect coffee production/harvest, the factors that affect the income of farmers and the factors that determine the increase in the feasibility of coffee cultivation on Mount Puntang. This research method uses descriptive analytic method with a qualitative approach. From the results of multiple regression analysis of the coffee production/yield of the Gunung Puntang farmers, the following equation is obtained, coffee production/yield. For the results of multiple linear regression analysis for the income of Gunung Puntang coffee farmers, it is obtained, where the variable number of trees (X2) and theta cost (X3) have an effect on coffee production/yields. For the feasibility of coffee farming, this farming business is feasible.

Abstract

Agrotourism Kawitwangi utilizes natural and agricultural resources for tourist areas, in its development efforts are carried out by strategizing through SWOT analysis followed by Hirarkhi Process Analysis. From the results of the main strategy compiled road map of the stages of agrotourism development, the results of the research showed the main strategy are a) Designing a more effective promotion program by utilizing information technology, especially social media , b) Creating quality tourism products and benefiting the surrounding community through the development of natural tourism in accordance with the government's road map in tourism development in Kawitwangi c) Conducting training activities working with the government to improve service, marketing, management and community utilization d) Cooperate with relevant agencies to be able to facilitate special transportation that facilitates visitors or the public to tourist sites, and maximize road access to tourist attractions e) Involving the Community in Protecting and preserving the environment around tourist attractions. While the development road map with strategic stages d, e, b, ,a dan c. Recomemded are on policy and financial support from the government as well as local community participation for economic growth and empowerment of tourist sites.

Abstract

The trade distribution pattern describes the distribution chain of a commodity from the producer to the final consumer in an area where trading activities occur. The distribution of shallot commodities from final consumers involves one to seven trading business actors. The seven business actors can be broken down into six distribution patterns. Every business actor gets a transportation and trade margin (MPP) in his trading business, the longer the distribution chain, the potential for price increases for consumers. Farmers know the sources of price information from large farmers, collectors, and wholesalers. The distribution pattern in West Java Province consists of six patterns carried out by seven subjects, namely collectors, distributors, sub-distributors, agents, wholesalers, retailers, and supermarkets/supermarkets. This study took samples from shallot production centers in West Java, which is one sub-district which has the largest area and largest production. The number of farmers who became respondents was 10 percent, with the category of having been trying to cultivate shallots for at least three years which was analyzed descriptively. Based on the survey results, the MPP of shallots in West Java Province is 31.37 percent where the increase in the price of shallots from farmers to final consumers in West Java Province is 31.37 percent.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the success of big red chili farming. In this case is the application of technology, the role of agricultural institutions, the role of champion farmers. The method used is a survey of red chili farmers. Respondents were taken by census with a size of 68 units. The analysis technique used is path analysis with two paths. There is a correlation between the Application of Big Red Chili Farming Technology and Agricultural Institutions as indicated by the Pearson correlation coefficient r = 0.693. There is an influence of Agricultural Technology and Institutional Application on the Role of Champion Farmers in Big Red Chili Farming with a total effect of 80.77%. The contribution of each variable is 66.27% and 14.50%. There is an influence of the application of technology, agricultural institutions, and the role of champion farmers on the success of big red chili farming with a total effect of 69.90%. The contribution of each variable is 33.05%; 5.49% and 31.35%.

Abstract

The demand for beef for consumption by the Indonesian people, which is increasing every year, is met through the production of local meat and imported meat. The government's efforts through the meat self-sufficiency program encourage the private sector to increase the beef cattle population by bringing in imported cattle. The physical condition of a larger cow will produce a lot of meat. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of race, weight, price and sex of cattle correlated with carcass weight. The research method used is descriptive verification method with a quantitative approach. Variables calculated include nation, body weight, price, sex and carcass weight of cattle. To determine the relationship between the variables, the analysis used was parametric and non-parametric analysis. The results of the study based on the ANOVA test showed that the breed of cattle to the average carcass weight was significantly different (P <0.05), so it needed to be tested further using Tamhane. The results showed that heifer and bull cattle were not significantly different from carcass weight. Gender was not significantly different from carcass weight (P<0.05), cattle prices were significantly different from carcass weight (P>0.05) and cattle body weight was not significantly different. significantly to carcass weight (P<0.05).

Abstract

The Influence of Nature of Innovation and Technology of Plant and Resource Management on the Success of Rice Farming (Oryza Sativa L.) A Case in Bojongpicung Sub-district of Cianjur Regency). The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) Effect of Innovation Properties on Integrated Crop and Resource Management Technology (PTT). (2) The Influence of Integrated Crops and Resource Management Technology (PTT) to the Success of Wetland Paddy Farming (3) The Influence of Innovation and Integrated Plant and Resource Management Technique (PTT) to the Success of Rice Field Farming. This research uses survey method with its analysis unit is farmer of Integrated Crop Management and Sumbedaya Management in Bojong Picung District, Cianjur Regency. Sampling technique was done by random sampling as many as 102 respondents. The collected data was analyzed by path analysis, analytical adjusted to hypothesis test result. The results showed that the factors of Nature Innovation and Integrated Crop Management and Resource Technology simultaneously have a significant effect on Farming Success of 94%. The remaining 6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Dibentuknya UU Nomor 08 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen dan UU Nomor 18 Tahun 2012 tentang Pangan, menjadikan tuntutan masyarakat konsumen akan peran pemerintah dalam penyediaan produk pangan hewani yang Aman, Sehat, Utuh dan Halal (ASUH). Salah satu bentuk pengawasan dari pemerintah adalah mewajibkan setiap pelaku usaha produk hewan untuk memiliki sertifikat Nomor Kontrol Veteriner (NKV) demi terwujudnya kesehatan dan ketentraman batin masyarakat dalam mengkonsumsi pangan asal hewan. Dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku konsumen terhadap atribut daging ayam yang bersertifikat NKV dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen terhadap atribut daging ayam yang bersertifikat NKV di Kota Bandung. Daerah penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling yaitu di Supermarket Lotte Grosir, Lotte Festival Citylink dan Superindo Dago Kota Bandung yang sudah mempunyai sertifikat NKV. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah nonprobability sampling, yaitu dengan teknik accidental sampling (sampel tanpa sengaja dan tanpa direncanakan terlebih dahulu). Jumlah responden yang diambil yaitu sebanyak 100 orang, dengan kriteria yaitu responden bersedia diwawancarai berdasarkan panduan kuesioner, konsumen yang membeli daging ayam yang bersertifikat NKV dan berusia 15 tahun atau lebih. Untuk mengetahui perilaku konsumen terhadap atribut produk menggunakan analisis multiatribut fishbein dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen dalam pembelian ayam yang bersertifikat NKV menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Atribut yang dikaji meliputi; warna, bau, kesegaran, kemasan, keterangan produk dan kebersihan outlet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku konsumen terhadap atribut daging ayam bersertifikat NKV pada kategori baik, dan atribut yang mempunyai pengaruh tinggi adalah kebersihan outlet, kesegaran dan warna. Faktor umur, pendapatan dan tingkat pendidikaan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial terhadap perilaku konsumen dalam pembelian daging ayam yang bersertifikat NKV.

Abstract

The method of implementing this community service is systematically designed to overcome the problems faced by the target partner, Ma Utik, in developing the Cilembu yam industry and its processed products. The preparation and planning stages as well as socialization and initial training are the main focuses in this program. The preparation stage begins with an initial survey to identify partner needs related to marketing, business management, distribution network development, and product innovation. A service team consisting of experts in economics, management, agribusiness, and informatics was formed with a division of tasks according to competence. A structured work plan includes a schedule of activities, implementation methods, and indicators of success, as well as careful management of budgets and resources. Socialization and training materials were developed based on partner needs to ensure in-depth understanding and mastery of relevant skills. The socialization phase begins with an initial meeting to introduce the program's objectives, benefits and solutions to partners, while accommodating their inputs. Initial training was conducted to provide partners with a foundation of knowledge and skills. Marketing strategy training covers the use of social media, digital marketing, branding, and promotion. Business management training covers business planning, financial management, and strategic decision-making using business management software. Distribution network development training includes negotiating and building relationships with distributors, as well as utilizing communication technology. Product innovation training includes identification of market trends and development of new products using market research technology. Through this approach, it is expected that partners can understand the program objectives and acquire the necessary skills to improve their competitiveness. With effective coordination between the service team, community partners, and supporting institutions, this program can run smoothly and have a significant impact. The implementation of a digital marketing application specifically for Cilembu yam products is one of the main results that is expected to increase product visibility, facilitate customer access, strengthen branding, and increase interaction with customers and business partners

Abstract

The rice production improvement program is carried out to meet the needs and food security of a country, the results of cultivation and post-harvest innovations are delivered in agricultural counseling to be implemented by farmers in an effort to increase their agricultural yields . One of the results of innovation is how to grow rice with the legowo row 2:1 planting system can be socialized to farmer groups through Field Schools so that farmers can more easily understand and participate in practical demonstrations in the field as part of their experience. The research uses aquantitative approach, and a type of explanatory research type survey research that highlights the causal relationship between research variables and tests the hypotheses formulated. The subject of the study was the Sindang Kerta farmer group, West Java, with a total rice field area planted with rice as much as 2,396 ha by 90 farmers. This study used 2 types of variables, namely free variables and bound variables, each of the variables studied was a free variable 1 (X1) is the institutional or dynamic of farmer groups, the free variable 2 (X2) is a row legowo 2:1rice planting system, and the bound variable is an increase in rice production produced (Y). The data obtained were analyzed using SEM PLS. The results of the description of the farmer group institution show that the average value is >4.01, which means that the farmer group institution is very good, Based on the values of path coefficients or path coefficients, the resulting structural equation is as follows: Y = 0.631 X1 – 0.152 X2 which means that group institutions have a positive effect while the legowo row 2:1 planting system has less influence on the production of rice produced.
