Abstract

Background: Rapid population growth is a pressing concern with widespread implications, including potential food and energy crises. To address this issue, the Indonesian government has implemented Family Planning (FP) programs. However, the total fertility rate (TFR) continues to rise. A high unmet need for family planning is a significant contributing factor. Unmet need for family planning is defined as the percentage of women of reproductive age, whether married or in a union, who have an unmet need for family planning. Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of unmet need among women of reproductive age at the Padang City Community Health Center. Method: A cross-sectional methodology and analytical observational study design were used. The study included 95 non-pregnant women of reproductive age in Padang City. The sample size was determined using a quota sampling approach. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a 95% Confidence Interval (CI). Results: The results indicated that the p-value was 0.000, which is ≤ 0.05, indicating a significant correlation between knowledge, attitude, and the incidence of unmet need. Conclusion: These findings suggest that addressing these factors could be an effective strategy for decreasing the incidence of unmet need among women of reproductive age. Health providers need to raise awareness about family planning and enhance women's understanding of the importance of utilizing family planning services

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit yang sedang mewabah hampir di seluruh dunia saat ini, dengan nama virus Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARSCOV2) yang dilaporkan pertama kali pada 31 Desember 2019. Coronavirus sebelumnya (SARS-CoV dan MERS-CoV) dan beberapa kasus COVID-19, dipercaya bahwa ibu hamil memiliki risiko lebih tinggi untuk terjadinya penyakit berat, morbiditas dan mortalitas dibandingkan dengan populasi umum. Rekomendasi standar pencegahan penyebaran infeksi adalah cuci tangan secara teratur dengan sabun dan air bersih, menerapkan etika batuk dan bersin, menghindari kontak langsung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku ibu hamil dalam pencegahan COVID-19 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Andalas Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat observasional dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil berjumlah 1.018 orang. Sampel berjumlah 98 orang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner elektronik berupa g-form. Analisis data dengan uji chi-square (α<0,05). Hasil uji statistik pengetahuan (p=0,001), sikap (p=0,001) dukungan Suami (p=0,001) dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana (p=0,027). Terdapat hubungan faktor pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan suami dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana dengan perilaku ibu hamil dalam pencegahan COVID-19. Diharapkan kepada tenaga kesehatan dapat bekerjasama dengan kader kesehatan dan tokoh masyarakat dalam memberikan penyuluhan terkait pencegahan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

Kasus COVID-19 di Indonesia kembali mengalami peningkatan secara pesat sehingga memerlukan upaya komprehensif dalam rangka memutus rantai penularan. Ibu hamil sebagai populasi yang berisiko dipercaya akan menjadi kelompok yang lebih rentan terinfeksi dengan tingkat morbiditas dan mortalitas yang lebih tinggi. Penting untuk melakukan tindakan pencegahan terhadap penularan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil. Pencegahan ini dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor diantaranya pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan suami dan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku ibu hamil dalam pencegahan COVID-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Andalas Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional.Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil berjumlah 1.656 orang. Sampel berjumlah 211 orang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner online. Analisis data dengan uji chi-square (α<0,05). Hasil uji statistik pengetahuan (p=0,000), sikap (p=0,000) dukungan Suami (p=0,000) dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana (p=0,155). Terdapat hubungan faktor pengetahuan, sikap, dan dukungan suami dengan perilaku ibu hamil terhadap protokol kesehatan COVID-19. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana dengan perilaku ibu hamil terhadap protokol kesehatan COVID-19. Diharapkan kepada tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan informasi edukasi tentang protokol kesehatan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil sehingga dapat mencegah kasus COVID-19 pada ibu hamil khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya.

Abstract

Maternal and child health challenges have been seen before the process of pregnancy. Improving education, attitudes and behavior of couples is an important part of preconception health. The aimed of this research was to verify the impact of premarital education on enhanced knowledge and attitudes of preconception health on brides. Research method was quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling technique was purposive sampling, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Time and location of the study September-November 2022 at three Office of religious (KUA Koto Tangah, KUA Kuranji and KUA Padang Utara). The intervention group were given educational material related to marriage law in Islam and preconception health education using lecture and discussion methods. The control group were given education only related to the law of marriage in Islam (religious sphere) with the lecture method. Questionnaires with tested validity and reliability were used to gather data. The results of knowledge intervention group compared the control group (p = 0.00). Prospective bride’s attitudes were not impacted by premarital education in the intervention group compare the control group (p=0.59). In conclusion, it has been proven that premarital education enhance preconception health knowledge, as opposed to women' preconception health attitudes.

Abstract

One intervention that could reduce the number of deaths and pain is through mother and neonatal of antenatal care. antenatal care that is one of programs such as observation, education and medical treatment for pregnant women in a planned manner. Based on the data from The departement of Health Pekanbaru City (2015), the scope of K1 year 2014 reached 96,1% and coverage of K4 reached 90,42%. The percentage of the scope of K1 anda K4 the lowest is at public health center in patient of Karya Wanita that is about K1 75,5% and K4 66,9%. A lot of factors affect visits antenatal care among others knowledge, education, work, support husband and family income pregnant women. Research purpose to know the pactors pregnant women relating to antenatal care in the public health center in patient of Karya Wanita working areas. Research is analytic design cross sectional. Population research was all the pregant women were 951 people. As the sample 91 taken accidental of sampling. Data analysis by test chi-square (α<0,05). The results of statistical tests chi-square show that there is the correlation between knowledge and family income with visits antenatal care. There was no correlation between education, work and support husband pregnant women with visits antenatal care. Abstract

Pesisir Selatan Regency is one of the districts with 15 sub-districts with the largest population in IV Jurai District. The number of deaths per year on the South Coast fluctuates. In 2015 the number of infant deaths increased from 6 to 42 people (male 29 and 13 female) from the previous year, AKABA of 47 from 18 in the previous year. There were 16 toddlers with herniated nutrition and many pregnant women, namely around 273 pregnant women. Based on a preliminary study conducted by the activity implementation team at the Lumpo Public Health Center, IV Jurai District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, it is known that there is no ultrasound examination facility in pregnancy and prenatal yoga facilities at the Lumpo Puskesmas, besides that there are no similar activities carried out at SD Negeri 016 and MTsN. Nagari Lumpo which is included in the work area of Lumpo Puskesmas. Several tests can be done during pregnancy as an effort to detect early and prevent complications and growth disorders in the fetus. Among others, by monitoring weight gain during pregnancy, conducting general examinations (vital signs), physical examinations that focus on the breasts, abdomen, genitalia with inspection, palpation, auscultation, and percussion, ultrasonography (USG) examinations, and performing supporting examinations in the form of laboratory examination (hemoglobin examination). The result of this activity is an increase in each target group's quality of life by the stages of life after this activity.

Abstract

The postpartum period is an important period for health workers to always monitor to avoid complications during the puerperium. Improper implementation can increase the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). During this pandemic, pregnant and breastfeeding women are categorized as vulnerable to Covid-19 corona virus infection because they have low immunity due to hormonal changes. As of June 4, 2020, there were 594 positive cases of Covid-19 for the West Sumatra region, 25 people died and 312 people recovered. There is a need for the role of health workers and the education department, husband's involvement and family participation with sustainable midwifery care. the method is carried out by interviewing and providing online and contact care according to the health protocol from the ministry of health. The application of the model of continuous care (Continuity of Care) is given since pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period for all women, both low and highrisk mothers and in all series of midwifery units in West Sumatra. The results of the activity showed that the awareness of mothers, husbands and families to be able to provide assistance and implementation of the fulfillment of the physical and psychological needs of mothers during childbirth by paying attention to environmental conditions in this Covid-19 pandemic era. Evaluation of midwifery care until the end of the puerperium needs to be carried out in order to assess better postpartum outcomes and the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Pemerintah telah membentuk PKPR untuk mengatasi masalah remaja akan tetapi terus terjadi peningkatan permasalahan pada remaja. Survey awal menunjukkan belum dilakukan evaluasi terhadap program PKPR, sehingga tidak diketahui persentase pencapaian keberhasilan pada program PKPR. Puskesmas Andalas merupakan puskesmas yang memiliki jumlah remaja terbanyak di Kota Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program PKPR di Puskesmas Andalas tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.  Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 14 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, FGD dan telaah dokumen. Pengolahan dan analisa data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik dengan pendekatan sistem. Hasil penelitian terkait PKPR pada komponen input, sudah ada kebijakan yang mengatur PKPR, SDM sudah mencukupi, dana yang ada belum mencukupi, sarana seperti ruang khusus PKPR belum ada dan metode yang digunakan sudah sesuai SOP. Berdasarkan komponen proses, bagian perencanaan dan pengorganisasian sudah sesuai pedoman, sedangkan bagian pelaksanaan dan pengawasan belum terlaksana menyeluruh. Berdasarkan komponen output, program PKPR di Puskesmas Andalas belum mencapai target dalam SN-PKPR dikarenakan ada kegiatan yang belum terlaksana saat pandemi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan PKPR di Puskesmas Andalas belum berjalan dengan baik karena banyak kegiatan yang tidak terlaksana. Diharapkan kedepannya puskesmas dapat meningkatkan kerjasama dengan Dinas Pendidikan.

Abstract

Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) saat sekarang masih ditetapkan sebagai fokus masalah yang merupakan salah satu indikator derajat kesehatan di Indonesia. Kematian ibu akan berdampak negatif dan mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan, kualitas hidup, dan kesehatan keluarga, masyarakat dan negara. Continuity of care merupakan model asuhan kebidanan yang memiliki strategi kesehatan yang efektif dan signifikan terhadap kelangsungan dan kualitas  hidup  ibu dan anak, terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi asuhan continuity of care yaitu motivasi, pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan motivasi wanita usia subur dalam asuhan kebidanan continuity of care. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional.Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh wanita usia subur berjumlah 1.801 orang. Sampel berjumlah 95 orang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Analisis data dengan uji chi-square (α<0,05). Hasil uji statistik pengetahuan (p=0,000), sikap (p=0,001), dan tindakan (p=0,000). Terdapat hubungan faktor pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan dengan motivasi wanita usia subur dalam asuhan kebidanan continuity of care. Diharapkan kepada tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan informasi edukasi tentang asuhan kebidanan continuity of care  pada wanita usia subur sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesehatan ibu dan anak, serta meningkatkan kepuasan terhadap pelayanan kebidanan.
