Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of sustainable tourism in spiritual tourism at Pura Luhur Tamba Waras in Desa Sangketan, Tabanan Regency, Bali, Indonesia. This research uses qualitative analysis techniques. The data source used is secondary data and is accessed through company documents, journals, books, articles, and websites. The results show that sustainable tourism in spiritual tourism at Pura Luhur Tamba Waras are the application of basic concepts in sustainable tourism, namely the social concept of cooperation. The economic concept has also been implemented very well, namely the surrounding community can sell spiritual facilities and infrastructure in the temple area, but the implementation of the environmental concept is not good because the waste that is used for spiritual tourism is not well managed. Pura Luhur Tamba Waras has implemented three basic concepts of sustainable tourism, namely social, economic and environmental but the concept of the environment has not been maximally implemented.

Abstract

This article discusses the factors that motivate the Bongan’s community to support the development of tourist village. The research used qualitative and quantitative data collected by distributing questionnaires to and conducting an in-depth interview with those who are knowledgeable of the tourism development at the Bongan village. The samples included 100 respondents determined using the proportional random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the confirmatory factor analysis technique to confirm the factors that motivate the local community to support the development of tourist village. The research shows that the environmental, social, community participation, and cultural factors have significantly contributed to support the development of tourist village. The environmental factor is the most dominant one followed by the social, community participation, and cultural factors. This mean that the environmental factor is the main reason why the local community supports the development of tourist village at the Bongan village.

Abstract

As one of the most popular destinations for international tourists, Bali has attracted a sizeable and growing labor force in the tourism sector of the economy. This fact has triggered Balinese labor force to participate in such a service industry. As a supplier of tourism labor force Bali has been increasingly successful in promoting the number of workers to be employed in cruise tourism industry. The participation rate of Balinese labor in cruise tourism industry over the last years has dramatically increased. The growth of Balinese labor who works on cruise ships in the past four years reached more than 18 percent. It is happening because they have been prepared themselves in accordance to the competencies and qualifications needed in cruise tourism industry. The Balinese labor’s participation in cruise tourism industry employment has brought major implications for their life and culture. The present study aimed to analyze the multiplier effect of Balinese labor works in cruise tourism industry overview from economic and socio-cultural perspective. The research subjects were Balinese labor who used to or were still working in the cruise tourism industry. This research used qualitative data. The collected data started from one Balinese labor having experience in the cruise tourism industry and then spread to the other workers. To answer the research questions, data collection was conducted through observation and deep interviews. The data were analyzed by qualitative analysis. In analyzing the data of economic and socio-cultural perspective of Balinese labor who work in the cruise tourism industry in the environment of life, it was done through the processing and interpretation of the data which is a series of periodic review, grouping, systematization, interpretation and reification of data so that a phenomenon has social academic and scientific value. The data analysis was conducted to find the hidden reasons behind the actions of the perpetrators of social action or geared towards social significance of social phenomena. The focus is to find what kind of mindset that glows behind a social phenomenon or to find the rationality that lies behind the social phenomena. The multiplier effect of Balinese labor working in cruise tourism industry was overviewed from economic and socio-cultural perspectives. The economic perspective likes: Balinese labor working on cruise ship able to improve the family economy, and employment for the community directly or indirectly in the cruise tourism industry. The socio-cultural perspective likes: by working on cruise ships able to motivate the other Balinese labor to works on cruise ships, with working on cruise ships can open the horizons and the way of thinking society, increase the personal discipline, make clean and healthy in their live, and then improve the science and technology in tourism especially at cruises, able to strengthen the unity of nation, anticipation for disintegration, and growth the awareness to conserve the cultural after seeing the variety of cultures in the word. Based on the conclusions above, the following suggestion can be made: the government should pay attention to the existence of Balinese labor, who work in cruise ships, to the protection of their rights as well as the relevant acts should be made clear, knowing that they serve as ambassadors of the nation that generate income for the country; and the government should provide support to Balinese laborers in accordance with their potential

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential for developing the authenticity of Tri Eka Buana Village as a tourist attraction. Research uses qualitative data. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and literature study. Informants were taken from community leaders who understood the implications of tourism development using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results show that this village has authentic potential in the form of natural and cultural tourist attractions that can be developed into tourist attractions. The authenticity that is owned consists of 3 categories, namely: objective authenticity, constructed authenticity and existential authenticity. The objective authenticity possessed is in the form of natural tourist attractions such as: Bukit Abah, Dukuh Sakti Waterfall, Puncak Luhur Bukit Abah Temple, and Tirta Danu Seliwah. Constructed authenticity in the form of exotic traditional culture in the form of the Umananing Malini Dance. Existential authenticity, namely the traditional drink of Balinese Arak, which is useful as a means of prayer for Hindus. For this reason, the authentic potential that is owned must be maintained, preserved, and developed by the local community as a competitive advantage for tourism villages so that they can compete competitively. It is recommended to the manager, in the effort to develop authenticity, this can be done by: packaging tourist attractions as special interest-based attractions based on nature and culture, highlighting their beauty, uniqueness and authenticity; presents educational tourism based on nature and culture; involve the community professionally in the management of community-based tourism so as to increase the sense of belonging to caring for a tourist village

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impacts of development of Pela Village as a tourist village in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. Pella village has very unique tourism potential to be developed. For the sustainability of tourism development in the tourist village of Pela, it is important to pay attention to the impacts of devel-opment of a tourism village. The data were collected by observation, interviews, and literature study. Inform-ants are taken from community leaders who understand the impacts of tourism development in the village using snowball sampling techniques. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the development of Pela Village as a tourism village able to provide positive impacts for people's lives, both in terms of economic (as lodging business, tour operators, open food stalls); social (effective interactions occur between members of the community): cultural (keeping traditional fishing gear, Kuntau art, and the development of Jepen Dance); environmental (cleaning the village environment), and political dimensions (prioritized local communities as labor). The positive impacts is able to increase the enthusiasm of the local community in supporting the development of tourist villages. It is hoped that stakeholders will play an active role in supporting the development of Pela Tourist Village in the form of guidance, counseling, management, and promotion.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of digital marketing in promoting Jatiluwih tourist village. Data collection through observation, in-depth interviews with managers, and literature study using quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample is set as many as 75 people. The results showed that tourists know the existence of tourist villages through online media by 76.00% and offline by 24.00%. In detail, it is stated that from 76.00% of the use of online media, tourists stated that they chose tourist villages through information from social media by 52.00%, websites by 10.67%, search engines 2.67%, e-marketing 4.00%, and online advertising by 6.67%. This condition is proof that the implementation of digital marketing in marketing the Jatiluwih tourist village has proven to be able to have a positive impact on introducing and promoting the existence of a tourist village. It is hoped that in the future the management of the tourist village can use digital marketing media effectively in promoting the tourist village so that it is sustainable.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Setanggor di Lombok Tengah Indonesia merupakan sebuah destinasi wisata yang tergolong sudah tua namun memerlukan pengembangan berbagai macam potensi yang dimilikinya agar dapat dimaksimalkan dan perlu adanya kerjasama yang baik antara pihak pengelola, pemerintah, wisatawan dan travel. agen yang nantinya dapat mendukung pengembangan Desa Wisata Setanggor. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran dan kontribusi pemangku kepentingan dalam pengembangan desa wisata berkelanjutan, serta mengembangkan model pembangunan yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, studi literatur, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data yang diperoleh diolah melalui aplikasi software Nvivo 12 Pro. Sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat lokal dan pihak swasta sangat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi Desa Setanggor sebagai destinasi wisata. Faktor-faktor seperti keterlibatan masyarakat dan dukungan pemerintah terbukti penting dalam mengatasi tantangan yang ada, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi strategis bagi pengelola desa wisata dan pihak terkait lainnya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan dan promosi desa wisata secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini mengevaluasi efektivitas program Go Mandalika dalam mempromosikan pariwisata di Lombok Tengah, Indonesia, melalui lima platform media digital. Tujuan akhir dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan ke Lombok Tengah melalui strategi digital yang dioptimalkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan juga menampilkan data kuantitatif seperti kunjungan wisata dan jumlah postingan selama tiga tahun terakhir. Program Go Mandalika dirancang untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan, memberikan informasi destinasi wisata, dan mendokumentasikan kegiatan Dinas Pariwisata Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. Namun, jadwal postingannya tidak terjadwal; interaksi dengan pengikut masih kurang; penggunaan iklan berbayar tidak ada; dan kolaborasi dengan influencer pariwisata masih jarang. Diperlukan model pengelolaan yang lebih baik pada program Go Mandalika, dan keaktifan serta kebermanfaatan program ini harus terus ditingkatkan.
