Abstract

The issue of waste management has become increasingly important alongside the growth of population and public consumption. Improper disposal of waste types leads to environmental and health problems. To address this, it is necessary to develop technology that can aid in the efficient sorting of waste. This study aims to: first, design and build a waste sorter for organic, metal, and non-metal waste using the ESP32 microcontroller; and second, understand the operating system of the organic, metal, and non-metal waste sorting device. This research utilizes a design and implementation method for the waste sorter based on the ESP32 microcontroller. The device is equipped with capacitive and inductive proximity sensors to detect waste types, as well as a servo motor to direct waste into the appropriate collection bins. The results of this study indicate that: first, the designed waste sorter can sort waste into three categories: organic, metal, and non-metal. Second, the capacitive and inductive proximity sensors can effectively detect waste types at a range of 2-6 cm. Third, the servo motor can drive the sorting mechanism to direct waste to the appropriate collection bins. Fourth, this waste sorter can help improve efficiency and accuracy in waste management.

Abstract

Turtles are endangered and protected animals today, the turtle population is declining all the time due to various factors, including climate change and global warming. Turtles are TSD or Temperature dependent Sex Determination animals with the development of their embryos dependent on temperature and humidity which requires moisture content in the nest during the incubation period. As a conservation effort carried out at the Kuranji Dalang Conservation, West Lombok aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system made to monitor temperature and regulate sand moisture. This tool is designed to monitor the environmental temperature in the sand area if the optimum temperature at hatching is 25°C-33 °C using DHT11, and regulates the humidity of the nest sand by 21%-40% using a soil moisture sensor. Eggs during the incubation period of turtles with a nest temperature of 25°C-29 °C will become male hatchlings, while the nest temperature of 29 °C-33 °C will become female hatchlings. This system is controlled using an ESP32 NodeMCU microcontroller whose data is transmitted through a blynk that can be monitored remotely, the tests that have been carried out are able to monitor an average temperature of 29-30 °C, in addition to being able to regulate an average humidity of 27.93. With a water pump watering with a duration of 12 seconds in the morning, 25 seconds in the afternoon and 17 seconds in the afternoon when the sand is dry with a predetermined humidity of 21%-40%.

Abstract

Background: Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) causes skin lesions, decreased milk production, and death in livestock such as cows. Objective: The purpose of this study is to detect LSD disease quickly and accurately using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) MobileNetV2 method based on android application. Method: This study uses a quantitative method with a reuse-oriented development approach and the MobileNetV2 algorithm trained with augmentation data and LSD disease image classification. Result: The results of this study are that the MobileNetV2 classification model is able to detect LSD with an accuracy of 95.91%. The developed application makes it easier for farmers to detect diseases early so that they can accelerate preventive measures. Conclusion: The implications of this study indicate that the MobileNetV2 model can improve the effectiveness of disease detection in livestock and can be applied in animal health applications in the field.

Abstract

Abstrak - Dalam era digital, website memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan bisnis, terutama bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Nyeblakbundss, sebuah UMKM di bidang kuliner, menghadapi tantangan dalam menarik perhatian pelanggan dan memfasilitasi interaksi melalui website yang statis. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dikembangkan sebuah landing page interaktif menggunakan teknologi JavaScript. JavaScript dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk menciptakan halaman web yang dinamis dan menarik, dengan fitur seperti animasi produk, validasi formulir, dan navigasi yang lebih mudah. Implementasi JavaScript ini terbukti meningkatkan responsivitas dan daya tarik visual dari landing page, yang pada akhirnya mampu memperkuat konversi pengunjung menjadi pelanggan. Peningkatan konversi sebesar 85% juga menunjukkan dampak signifikan dari interaktivitas pada pengalaman pengguna.Kata Kunci: Landing Page Interaktif, JavaScript, UMKM, Peningkatan Konversi. Abstract - In the digital era, websites play an important role in business development, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Nyeblakbundss, an MSME in the culinary field, faced challenges in attracting customers' attention and facilitating interaction through a static website. To overcome this problem, an interactive landing page using JavaScript technology was developed. JavaScript was chosen for its ability to create dynamic and engaging web pages, with features such as product animation, form validation, and easier navigation. The implementation of JavaScript was proven to improve the responsiveness and visual appeal of the landing page, which in turn strengthened the conversion of visitors into customers. The 85% increase in conversion also shows the significant impact of interactivity on user experience.Keywords: Interactive Landing Page, JavaScript, MSME, Conversion Improvement.

Abstract

Abstrak - Cloud computing telah menjadi solusi teknologi yang penting dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk aplikasi kesehatan. Penerapan cloud computing memungkinkan pengelolaan data yang lebih efisien, fleksibel, dan terukur. Dalam konteks aplikasi kesehatan seperti Healtime, teknologi ini mendukung penyimpanan data medis, akses informasi secara real-time, serta integrasi berbagai layanan kesehatan, seperti telemedicine dan manajemen rekam medis. Selain itu, cloud computing menyediakan keamanan data yang lebih baik dengan sistem enkripsi dan perlindungan berlapis. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan cloud computing pada aplikasi kesehatan, serta manfaat dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses implementasinya, yang menunjukkan bahwa 80% pengguna aplikasi merasakan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data medis.Kata kunci: kesehatan, gaya hidup sedentari, teknologi, platform cerdas, HealTime.Abstract - Cloud computing has become an important technology solution in various fields, including healthcare applications. The implementation of cloud computing enables more efficient, flexible, and scalable data management. In the context of healthcare applications such as Healtime, this technology supports medical data storage, real-time information access, and integration of various healthcare services, such as telemedicine and medical record management. In addition, cloud computing provides better data security with encryption systems and layered protection. Abstract

Sistem deteksi ketersediaan lahan parkir mobil merupakan solusi inovatif untuk mengatasi masalah parkir yang sering kali penuh dan sulit dipantau secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem deteksi ketersediaan lahan parkir mobil menggunakan algoritma YOLOv4 yang terintegrasi dengan platform berbasis website. Sistem ini bekerja dengan mendeteksi mobil yang terparkir pada suatu area parkir menggunakan teknik deteksi objek berbasis deep learning, yaitu YOLOv4. Pengguna dapat mengunggah gambar atau video area parkir melalui website, yang kemudian diproses oleh model YOLOv4 untuk mendeteksi kendaraan yang terparkir. Sistem ini tidak hanya menghitung jumlah kendaraan yang ada, tetapi juga memberikan informasi tentang ketersediaan lahan parkir. Lahan kosong akan ditandai dengan warna hijau, sedangkan lahan yang terisi akan ditandai dengan warna merah pada tampilan antarmuka pengguna. Data training yang digunakan dalam pengembangan model ini sebanyak 130, sementara data uji sebanyak 33. Dengan parameter tersebut, model YOLOv4 berhasil mencapai Mean Average Precision (mAP) sebesar 100%, yang menunjukkan tingkat akurasi deteksi yang sangat tinggi. Dengan solusi ini, diharapkan pengelolaan area parkir menjadi lebih efisien dan pengguna dapat dengan mudah mengetahui ketersediaan lahan parkir tanpa kesulitan.

Abstract

Rainfall refers to the amount of precipitation that falls in a specific area over a certain period, typically measured in millimeters (mm). High rainfall can increase the risk of flooding. This study aims to develop an IoT-based system to detect water levels, measure rainfall, and automatically control the opening and closing of floodgates. The collected data is permanently stored in a database and can be monitored remotely. The researchers utilized an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller and an ESP32 to process data, an ultrasonic sensor to measure water level (in cm), and a rainfall sensor (in mm). The data is transmitted to a Firebase database and connected to a Telegram bot, allowing administrators to monitor it in real time. The system classifies water levels into four categories: safe (0–30 cm), alert (31–40 cm), warning (41–50 cm), and danger (51–60 cm). Rainfall intensity is also categorized into four levels: light (0.5–20 mm/h), moderate (20–50 mm/h), heavy (50–100 mm/h), and extreme (more than 100 mm/h). The system automatically adjusts the floodgates based on water conditions but also allows for manual control. The sensors demonstrated an average accuracy of 97%, with an average notification delay of 675 ms during extreme rainfall conditions.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Pengelolaan media digital yang efektif menjadi kebutuhan mendesak, terutama bagi lembaga pendidikan berbasis keagamaan seperti Sekolah Dasar Tahfidzul Qur’an (SDTQ) Darul Wafa Mataram. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga pendidik, pegawai, dan guru SDTQ dalam mengelola media digital untuk keperluan edukasi dan dakwah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan interaktif dan ceramah di kelas, dengan fokus pada pengenalan dan penggunaan platform media sosial khususnya YouTube. Materi yang diberikan mencakup manfaat youtube untuk pendidikan, teknik pengelolaan konten dan pengoptimalan mesin pencari (SEO) untuk meningkatkan jangkauan dan efektivitas pesan edukatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pentingnya SEO dalam mendukung visibilitas konten di mesin pencari. Selain itu, mereka juga mampu merancang strategi sederhana untuk memanfaatkan media sosial secara optimal. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam memaksimalkan peran teknologi digital untuk mendukung visi dan misi SDTQ Darul Wafa Mataram dalam memberikan pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai Al-Quran.

Abstract

Safe security plays an important role in protecting valuable assets from unauthorized access. Designing and implementing a security system on a safe using a parallel combination of two fingerprint sensors and a keypad. This is to increase the level of security by ensuring that both fingerprint sensors verify the fingerprint simultaneously before the user enters the code via the keypad to open the safe. The system controller uses an Arduino Mega as the main microcontroller, which connects two fingerprint sensors, a 4x4 keypad, a 16x2 LCD to display information, a 1 channel relay to drive the solenoid door lock as an actuator, and a buzzer as a warning indicator. The system testing scenario consists of three stages, namely, Electronic relay testing is carried out to ensure that the relay functions properly in controlling the solenoid door lock, so that the locking and opening mechanisms of the safe can run according to command. Testing on parallel fingerprints aims to evaluate the accuracy and speed of the sensor in reading two fingerprints simultaneously and ensuring that only registered fingerprints can access the system. Furthermore, keypad testing is carried out to verify the accuracy in reading the access code and testing the warning system in the event of an input error or unauthorized access attempt. The implementation results show that the system has a fingerprint authentication success rate of 98%, with an average response time of 1.2 seconds. The keypad reading accuracy reaches 99%, while the safe locking and opening mechanism functions with a 100% success rate. With these results, the developed system is proven to work reliably and provide additional protection compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

Krisis energi dan dampak lingkungan akibat penggunaan bahan bakar fosil mendorong pencarian solusi energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memanfaatkan biogas sebagai alternatif energi di Rumah Qur'an At-Tazkiyah, Sembalun, Lombok Timur. Sistem monitoring tekanan dan laju aliran biogas dirancang dan diimplementasikan untuk memantau kinerja sistem secara real-time. Alat monitoring yang terintegrasi dengan platform Blynk memungkinkan pengambilan data setiap menit, memberikan gambaran mengenai performa sistem. Hasil pantauan menunjukkan bahwa tekanan biogas mengalami tren penurunan, sedangkan massa dan laju aliran biogas menunjukkan variasi yang dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan bahan baku, terutama kotoran sapi. Laju aliran yang relatif rendah dapat mengakibatkan efisiensi pembakaran yang kurang optimal dan meningkatkan emisi karbon. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam pengelolaan biogas, penerapan teknologi monitoring yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kinerja sistem dan membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik. Rekomendasi untuk perbaikan sistem diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi biogas, menyediakan sumber energi yang berkelanjutan, serta memberikan kontribusi pada pengurangan biaya operasional dan keberlanjutan lingkungan di masyarakat.
