Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant influence of the Problem Based Learning model based on the Powtoon application on students' mathematical communication skills in statistics material At VIIth Class of MTs Daarul Falah Sei Kamah 2 in 2023/2024 Academic Year. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a two group Pretest-Posttest research design. The population in this study are all MTs Daarul Falah Sei Kamah 2 students in 2023/2024 Academic Year. The sample in this research are VIIth- Class Al as an experimental class using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by the Powtoon Application and VIIth-B Class as a control class using an Expository learning model. Before the learning was given, a pretest was obtained with an average result for the experimental class of 19.55 and a control class of 25.41, while after the learning was completed, a posttest was obtained with an average result for the experimental class of 80.82 and the control class of 77.70. The results of the t test obtained t_count = 6.399 > t_tabel = 2.012, thus H_α was accepted, thus it was found that there was a significant influence from the Problem Based Learning model on the Powtoon application on the students' mathematical communication skills in statistics material at VIIth Class of MTs Daarul Falah Sei Kamah 2 in 2023 /2024 Academic Year.Keywords : Problem Basic Learning, Powtoon, Mathematical Communication

Pembimbing Otaviana Nirmala Purba, M.PdTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Realistic Mathemates Education (RME) Berbantuan Media Berbasis Canva Terhadap kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Peserta Didik SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group prettest – posstest design. Populsi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas XI-2 dan XI-4) yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Pada kelas XI-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode Realistic Mathemates Education (RME) dengan berbantuan media Canva dan kelas XI-4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran langsung. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh posttest dengan hasil rata – rata kelas eksperimen 81,1 dan kelas kontrol 71,63. Hasil uji t diperoleh  maka  diterima yang mana terdapat pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Realistic Mathemates Education (RME) Berbantuan Media Canva Terhadap Kemampuan Pemhaman Konsep Matematis Peserta Didik SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman.   Kata kunci: Realistic Mathemates Education (RME),Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis , Canva

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) berbantuan media wordwall terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas XI MA Pesantren Modren Daar Al Uluum Kisaran tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MA Pesantren Modren Daar Al Uluum Kisaran. Dua kelas dipilih secara purposive sampling untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Kelas XI IPA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menerapkan model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) berbantuan media wordwall sedangkan kelas XI IPS-1 kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang dianalisis dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang telah diperoleh, diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas eksperimen (83) dari kelas kontrol (68,36) . Dari hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung = 6,744365 > ttabel = 2,010635. maka ditolak dan diterima. Kemudian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran dengan model Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR) berbantuan media wordwall terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik.  Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR), Wordwall, Kemampuan Pemecahan masalah matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperiment dengan desain penelitian two group pre test dan post test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 2 kelas (Kelas VIII-2 dan Kelas VIII-3). Pada kelas VIII-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) dan kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran Ekspositori. Nilai rata-rata pre test dikelas eksperimen (10,60) sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol (11,33). Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan perolehan nilai rata-rata post test dikelas eksperimen (77,87) sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol (64,60). Hasil uji T diperoleh diterima dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berbantuan aplikasi Articulate Storyline 3.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of the Steam learning paradigm on the problem-solving abilities of grade X trigonometry students using the Quizizz app during the 2024–2025 school year at SMA N 4 Tanjung Balai.   A direct learning acuan will be used by the control group, while the experimental group will utilize the Steam learning acuan.  Both of these teams will collaborate on this research.  The researchers in this study utilized a full-sample randomized controlled design.  The posttest scores of the control group students were 59.862, but the experimental group students' scores were 65.548 following the lesson.  The study's positive findings suggest that the STEA acuan does, in fact, improve students' problem-solving skills in mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model based on ethnomathematics assisted by the GeoGebra application to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This study used a quantitative method with a Design Pretest-Posttest Control Group. This study is conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kisaran. The research are taken from 2 classes, that is VIII-1 class consiststs of 60 students, as an experimental class and was taught using Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) , learning models based ethnomathematic assisted by the Geogebra aplication and VIII-2 class that consists of 30 students, as the control class, tought using the direct learning model. Both classes uses a quasi eskperiment technique. The instrument used is a problem-solving ability test instrument consisting of 5 summary questions. The data obtained in this study are in the form of students' mathematical problem-solving ability scores analyzed by t-test. Based on the data obtained, it is known that the average value of the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in the experimental class is higher (82.46) than the control class (76.53). The results of the hypothesis calculation obtained,  it is  rejected and  accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is found that there was an influence of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model based on ethnomathematics assisted by the GeoGebra application to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kisaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model has an effect on students' mathematical critical thinking skills assisted by the Desmos application in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut. This study uses the Quasy Experiment technique which is included in the quantitative research method. In addition, this study found that the samples used were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data analysis show that the instruments used are valid and reliable. The population in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut, with a research sample consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used was a test. The results show that the mathematical critical thinking skills of students who apply the RME learning model assisted by the Desmos application are better than students who use the direct learning model, with an average of the experimental class of 79,2 higher than the average of the control class of 46,6.
