Abstract

The main problem in this research is how is the process of writing short story skills using pop up media for fourth grade students at SD Minasa Upa, Rappocini District, Makassar City. Rappocini Makassar City. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of two cycles where each cycle is held in three meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class IV at SDN Minasa Upa, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The results showed that in cycle I there were 16 students who got low scores (50%), 4 students who got fair scores (12.5%) and 16 students who got low scores (50%). Whereas in cycle II 21 there were 26 students who got high scores (81.25%), 2 students who got fair scores (6.25%) and 4 students who got low scores (12.5). Based on the results of observation and evaluation, then it was concluded that the research was stopped in cycle II, the research target of 80% had been fulfilled. As previously stated that by implementing pop up media in class IV SDN Minasa Upa, Rapoccini District, Makassar City, it has increased and after seeing the results of the research that has been analyzed, it can be seen that the results of learning writing skills for class IV students at SDN Minasa Upa, Rapoccini District, Makassar City after applying pop-up media in learning writing skills it has increased. We can see this in the average value of students after the use of pop up media cycle I and cycle II increased from 50% to 81.25%. If it is put into a five-scale category, the increase in learning outcomes in writing skills increases from low to high.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model combined with Question Card media to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The study was conducted at UPTD SDN 190 Barru, focusing on 15 fourth-grade students. Initial observations revealed that most students struggled with understanding mathematics, particularly in flat shapes, due to monotonous teaching methods and low student motivation. The TGT model, known for its cooperative nature and competitive elements, was implemented to enhance student engagement and motivation. Question Card media, which stimulates active learning through questions and visuals, was used to complement the TGT model. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) followed a four-stage process: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that after implementing the TGT model with Question Card media in the first cycle, 53.3% of students achieved the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), and after the second cycle, 86.7% of students achieved KKM. The study concludes that the combination of TGT and Question Card media significantly improves student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of grade VI students of UPTD SDN 190 Barru on fractional materials, where 67% of students have not reached the Minimum Negligence Criteria (KKM) set at 75. The purpose of this study is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by quizzes. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 12 grade VI students. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, with classical completeness increasing from 60% to 88%. The PBL model assisted by quizzes has been proven to be effective in improving students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes on fractional materials

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif animasi terhadap kemampuan menulis teks narasi peserta didik kelas V SD Inpres Limbung. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media interaktif animasi dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes menulis narasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil menulis narasi peserta didik yang menggunakan media interaktif animasi dengan yang tidak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media interaktif animasi berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis narasi peserta didik

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbasis video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis paragraf deskrispi siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging kabupaten Gowa. Dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbasis video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis paragraf deskrispi siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pre-eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain penelitian One-Grup Pretest-Posttest yang terdiri dari Pretest (tes awal), treatment, dan Posttest (tes akhir). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IV SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging Kabupaten Gowa dan sampel penelitian ini yaitu, kelas IV A yang berjumlah 23 orang. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest memperoleh nilai 61.74 dan nilai rata-rata posttest memperoleh nilai 80.00 dengan kategori tuntas dan presentase 100%. Kemudian hasil perhitungan menggunakan IBM SPSS Versi 30 pada uji normalitas pretest diperoleh nilai sig 0,078 dan pada posttest diperoleh nilai sig 0,066. Kemudian pada uji hipotesis memproleh nilai sig <0,001 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Interaktif Berbasis Video Animasi Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Paragraf Deskripsi Siswa Kelas IV SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the early reading skills of Grade 1 students through the application of the word card game method at UPT SD Negeri 69 Galesong 1. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a classroom action research (PTK) design in one cycle. Data were collected through observation and early reading tests. The results show an improvement in students’ early reading skills, with an average score of 98.59 and 100% classical completeness. The use of word card media proved effective in helping students recognize letters, assemble syllables, and read words fluently. In addition, the enjoyable learning atmosphere through the game-based method enhanced students’ motivation, participation, and self-confidence. It can be concluded that the word card game method is an effective alternative learning media to improve early reading skills in Grade 1 students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 69 Galesong 1 on the material of addition and subtraction of integers through the use of pictorial media. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects were 35 students. Data were collected through observation, tests (pre-test and post-test), and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. The average pre-test score was 59.2 with a mastery rate of 31.4%, which increased to 72.4 with a 65.7% mastery rate in Cycle I, and reached 84.6 with a 91.4% mastery rate in Cycle II. Furthermore, teacher and student activities during the learning process showed significant improvement, reflecting increased student motivation and engagement. These findings indicate that the use of pictorial media is effective in helping students understand integer operation concepts more concretely, attractively, and easily. Thus, pictorial media can serve as an innovative alternative learning strategy to enhance mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif/korelasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto yang direfleksikan dalam koefisien korelasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner (angket) dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data analisis data menggunakan uji statistik, yaitu: uji stastistik deskriptif, uji normalitas dan uji hubungan antara dua variabel menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Minat baca siswa fase C SD Negeri Paccinongang Unggulan Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Kondisi ini dikarenakan beberapa siswa yang senang akan membaca, menyadari pentingnya membaca dan frekuensi membaca termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. 2) Prestasi Belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa fase C SD Negeri Paccinongang Unggulan Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia mencakup kemampuan kognitif siswa yang diambil dari nilai rapor siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. 3) Nilai r_hitung berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang dihitung menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment yaitu 0,550. Jika dibandikangkan dengan r_tabel, maka didapatkan hasil r_hitung > r_tabel dengan taraf signifikan 5% (0,550 >  0,452). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yaitu signifikan antara minat baca dengan prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia pada siswa fase C SD Negeri Paccinongang Unggulan Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa yang berada dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mendampingi guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran komik berbasis kearifan lokal sulawesi selatan sesuai materi ajar dan karakteristik siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyampian materi pengabdian masyarakat adalah picture and picture. Tahapan pelaksanaan pengabdian setiap pertemuan meliputi penyampaian tujuan, penyajian materi, penyajian gambar-gambar sebagai contoh nyata, presentasi hasil karya, dan membuat kesimpulan. Peserta pengabdian berjumlah 20 orang guru SDN Sungguminasa V. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik tes dan wawancara. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan selama 5 kali pertemuan. Hasil pretest dengan rata-rata 49,5 meningkat setelah pendampingan dengan rata-rata 82,2. Sehingga metode "picture and picture" meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembuatan media berbasis kearifan lokal. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dikhususkan untuk 20 guru SDN Sungguminasa V. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang dimaksud mencakup Indonesia. Kegitan pengabdian ini dapat menjadi reverensi kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya dengan cakupan subjek yang lebih luas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berkontribusi (1) memperkenalkan dan melestarikan budaya lokal melalui media pembelajaran; (2) memudahkan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran.
