Abstract

This study explores Generation Z's adoption of QRIS in Semarang City using the UTAUT framework. It examines how performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions impact financial risk tolerance and intentions to use of digital payment QRIS. According to Bank Indonesia, QRIS has seen significant growth, with 50.50 million users in 2024 and a 226.54% increase in transactions compared to the previous year. Data from 165 respondents aged 18–27, analyzed with SEM-PLS, revealed that all UTAUT variables positively influence financial risk tolerance, which in turn impacts QRIS adoption. Performance expectancy had the strongest effect, while facilitating conditions showed minimal impact, indicating the need for infrastructure improvements. Recommendations include enhancing security, upgrading infrastructure, and educating users to promote QRIS as a reliable digital payment tool in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of the process, people, and physical evidence elements on consumers' purchasing decisions at Bank Syariah Indonesia in the City and Regency of Pekalongan. A quantitative approach was applied using data collected from 108 respondents, which were analyzed using SmartPLS through the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results reveal that all three service marketing mix components exert a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Notably, the process element emerges as the most dominant factor in shaping customers' buying choices. These results highlight the importance of optimizing service processes to enhance customer decision-making. This study contributes theoretically to the marketing management literature regarding consumer behavior in the Islamic banking industry, as well as practically to Bank Syariah Indonesia in developing marketing strategies and optimizing digital-based services.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the simultaneous relationship between environmental performance, environmental disclosure, and economic performance in manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2023 period. This study applies a quantitative approach using the Three-Stage Least Squares (3SLS) method to 30 companies with a total of 90 observations. The results show that environmental performance has a significant positive effect on economic performance, while environmental disclosure has a significant negative effect on economic performance. Furthermore, economic performance has been shown to significantly influence both environmental performance and environmental disclosure. These findings indicate a reciprocal relationship between variables in supporting corporate sustainability. Overall, environmental performance is an important factor in improving economic performance, but environmental disclosure still creates cost pressures in the short term. This study implies that companies need to balance environmental responsibility and economic efficiency.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the sandwich generation is increasingly prominent in Indramayu Regency with the increasing burden on the family economy and the development of digital financial services. This generation is at a productive age but has to bear the needs of two generations at once, so financial management skills are very crucial. This study aims to examine the influence of the role of digital financial literacy, education, financial attitudes, and income on the management of the sandwich generation in Indramayu Regency . This study applied a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique on 115 respondents after screening. Data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS 4. The results of the study explained that financial attitudes and income have a positive and significant effect on financial management. In contrast, digital financial literacy and education did not show a significant influence. The R-Square value of 0.592 explains that the model has moderate explanatory ability. These findings indicate that behavioral factors and actual economic conditions determine the quality of financial management of the sandwich generation more than formal knowledge and digital literacy.
