Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan komitmen perusahaan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan karyawan dari PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk sebagai responden penelitian sebesar 72 responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui kekuatan hubungan variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Lingkungan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja dan komitmen secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan R-Square diperoleh hasil bahwa kontribusi lingkungan kerja dan komitmen dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan adalah sebesar 61.9%.

Abstract

Meskipun pada tahun 2020 jumlah SDM yang terserap di dunia kerja bertambah, tetapi kualitas atau mutu SDM kita rendah, dikarenakan pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM untuk memperbaiki kompetensi belum dilakukan secara maksimal, sehingga beberapa SDM yang ada belum memiliki kompetensi yang baik, sehingga belum dilirik di perusahaan yang ternama. selain itu, budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan SDM. Beberapa SDM yang ada belum mampu beradaptasi dnengan baik terhadap budaya organisasi perusahaan, sehingga kompetensi yang dimiliki tidak muncul dengan baik, karena ada beberapa perusahaan yang ada masih menerapkan budaya kerja yang tidak disukai beberapa pekerja, sehingga kompetensi yang dimiliki belum maksimal dan belum meyakinkan manajemen. Tipe kepemimpinan juga mempengaruhi kompetensi, dimana tda beberapa perusahaan yang memiliki tipe kepemimpinan yang cenderung tidak mempercayai bawahan, dimana tipe kepemimpinan semacam ini cenderung mempengaruhi kemampuan dan kompetensi bawahan, dimana kompetensi bawahan tidak dihargai dan mempengaruhi kinerja bawahan dan kinerja perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah diskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS 20. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah SDM yang sudah bekerja di beberapa perusahaan yang ada di seluruh Indonesia yang berjumlah 100 orang/jiwa, dimana teknik penarikan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik metode sensus, dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 100 orang SDM yang sudah bekerja di beberapa perusahaan yang ada di seluruh Indonesia melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang dilakukan degan metode daring. Hasil penelitian yang didasarkan oleh hipotesis secara parsial dan simultan menyatakan bahwa variabel pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM, budaya organisasi dan tipe kepemimpinan berpengaruh kepada variabel peningkatan kompetensi SDM yang bekerja di perusahaan seluruh Indonesia

Abstract

Although some studies on gauging hotel guests' levels of satisfaction have been published in several research findings, structural equation modeling's efficacy in Indonesia is still rarely investigated. The study's objective is to assess hotel patron satisfaction utilizing an electronic system for guest reviews that is centered on online and Internet technology. The research's data came from 500 hotel guests staying at two five-star full-service hotels in Medan, North Sumatra. To accomplish this goal, the study used structural equation modeling to uncover the inherent link between consumer assessments of hotel services and amenities on one side and perceived usefulness, contentment, and their intention to return and refer customers on the other side. The findings demonstrate the clear correlations between value, contentment, desire to return and suggest as well as customer ratings of employee quality of service, guest bedroom quality, safety, and service disruption. Additionally, it should be highlighted that major mediating influences had an impact on how well-liked the hotel's amenities and employees provided service to guests. Through the use of web-based technologies, the research offered several recommendations for improving guest satisfaction with hotel operations. The results of this study could contribute to hotel management concentrating on the elements of the experiences of their guests that are the most important factors for boosting the level of satisfaction.

Abstract

In this modern era, companies need superior resources in order to achieve company goals. Companies need strong internal resources and can face all the challenges and changing times. The study aimed to determine the influence of Quality of Work Life, Job Satisfaction, and Leadership Style on Organizational Commitment to Employees of PT. Tunas Jaya Cipta Medan. This study took the population of all employees at PT. Tunas Jaya Cipta Medan had as many as 35 people. The sampling technique applied a saturated sample, meaning that the entire population was sampled. This study concluded that work life, job satisfaction, and leadership style significantly influence organizational commitment. This is indicated by the value of F-count (13.4) > F-table (2.87) with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. Suggestions for PT. Tunas Cipta Jaya Medan provides a good leadership style to provide job satisfaction in the company so that commitment is getting better and increasing. Then for the Quality of Work Life to be formed in such a way as one of the achievements of organizational commitment to be more capable and reliable.

Abstract

Community Service aims to foster micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is to provide input on what businesses can be developed in accordance with the conditions in the environment and in accordance with current conditions, namely the Covid 19 pandemic that has hit the city of Medan and the world in general. The community that will be trained are people who live in Environment IV, Sidomulio Village, Medan Tuntungan District, totaling 25 people whose livelihoods are as farmers and as farm laborers. The availability of adequate academics in giving lectures on the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Indonesian Methodist University, the enthusiasm of the participants, the support of the Village Head and the Head of the Environment for the implementation of activities and supporting funds from UMI are supporting the implementation of this PPM activity. The problem is the limited time for coaching. It is hoped that this training will benefit the community. The benefits that participants get from this PPM activity include being able to understand and develop micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and to contribute ideas and transfer technology to teaching staff at SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara Medan. This service activity was carried out for 2 days. The training materials are Video Recording and Video Editing. The topic given in this training is the creation of online learning content. The material given is the use of Filmora X software. This topic is very much needed to equip teachers in preparing and delivering subject matter during this covid-19 pandemic. This topic was deliberately chosen considering that currently, teachers have difficulty in delivering subject matter face to face.

Abstract

The purpose of community service at HKBP Padang Bulan Elementary and Junior School is to provide input for teachers, principals, regarding efforts to improve teacher performance. Thus, teachers are expected to improve the quality of education. The efforts that can be taken are the establishment of institutions that foster the performance of teachers and education staff, supervision of school principals, teacher consultation activities, bringing in motivators, providing adequate facilities, and providing adequate welfare. Teachers are expected to develop themselves and always follow the changes that occur.

Abstract

Community Service aims to provide understanding and the importance of collaborating in entrepreneurship in Lumban Pea Timur Village, Toba Regency. In this case, the method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Through this, there are many ways that can be done to collaborate in developing a business or entrepreneur. In this meeting, it is known what business is being carried out, what business will be carried out and what problems are faced in developing an entrepreneur. In the end, it was discovered that the most pressing problem in recent times is business capital and the need for a regional regulation to support and protect businesses.

Abstract

Community Service is one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and this activity is very beneficial to the community and to the lecturers who carry out these activities. The Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Management Study Program carried out this activity at the Damai Prosperous Community Self-Reliance Agency (BKM) in Sukaraja Village - Medan Maimun District with the topic "Tips for Starting a New Business". The method used is lectures and guided discussions. Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence compensation, organizational culture, and leadership have on employee performance at PT. Nusantara Pekebunan II Bandar Klippa Garden, both partially and simultaneously, and how Work Satisfaction mediates it. The research method used was descriptive-quantitative. Research results Indirectly, compensation, organizational culture, and leadership's influence on performance can be mediated by job satisfaction. where the direct effect of compensation on employee performance is 0.261 while the indirect effect is 0.078, so it can be concluded that the direct effect of compensation on employee performance is higher than the indirect effect. The direct effect of organizational culture is 0.059 on employee performance, while the indirect effect is 0.021, so it can be concluded that the direct effect of organizational culture on employee performance is higher than the indirect effect. The direct effect of leadership is 0.355 on employee performance, while the indirect effect is 0.128, so it can be concluded that the direct effect of leadership on employee performance is higher than the indirect effect.
