Abstract

In supporting the success of online learning, it is necessary to increase the creativity of educators in developing and using learning media applications. The purpose of this research is to provide training and assistance to lecturers, teachers and prospective teacher students in making Windows and Android-based learning applications. The structured training program is carried out in collaboration between lecturers from the Teacher Training and Education Faculty and partner teams from the Permata Bunda Educational Institution through the Kedaireka Matching Fund program. The training was carried out in a hybrid manner with details of 10 participants participating offline and 60 participants participating online. The training was carried out for one day by dividing into 3 types of activities, namely the introduction of learning applications, direct practice of making learning applications and as a closing activity a questionnaire was given as an evaluation of the success of the activity. Based on the evaluation results obtained information that 14.26% of participants have been able to develop learning applications up to the publication stage, 71.43% of participants have been able to develop learning application content and 10% of participants are able to complete the learning media framework design stage, while 4 ,26% are still at the stage of program installation. In addition, at the end of the activity, participants also filled out a satisfaction questionnaire with the ongoing training activities. Based on the response analysis of participants' satisfaction above 85% which is included in the very good category. This shows that participants are very satisfied with the training they have received

Abstract

The use of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in Physics Learning has been widely used, but only as a learning model that is used to determine its effects on students. Whereas PjBL can also be used as a model to produce new information and experimental tools with the right method. This research is a laboratory experimental study that aims to produce an experimental device to determine the refractive index of various materials using refractive and perfect reflection methods. To complete this research, the team followed the steps of PjBL which consisted of 7 stages, namely Challenging Problems or Questions, Sustained Inquiry, Authenticity, Student Voice and Choice, Reflection, Critique and Revision, and Public Product. By following the PJBL stages, the team succeeded in producing an experimental device with good results. The results show that the experimental device produced works well and is able to determine the refractive index of the material with a fairly accurate value where the error value is below 1%. From this process also, the team acquired more skills, namely critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaboration.

Abstract

Salah satu kendala dalam pembelajaran fisika matematik adalah sulitnya mahasiswa memahami konsep-konsep abstrak yang memerlukan penghayalan. Salah satu materi tersebut adalah sistem kordinat bola dan silinder.  Untuk mengatasi hal tersbeut perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media interaktif yang dapat memvisualisasikan materi tersebut dan dapat digunakan secara mandiri oleh mahasiswa. Media tersebut adalah Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio-Visual . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, namun dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap ke-tiga (Pengembangan). Produk yang telah dihasilkan kemudian divalidasi oleh 3 orang ahli untuk menentukan kelayakan berdasarkan penilain ahli. Kemudian dilakukan uji coba terbatas pada 6 mahasiswa untuk mengetahui respon mereka terhadap produk penelitian dan menjadi salah satu acuan dalam perbaikan produk. Penilaian oleh ahli menunjukkan produk Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio-Visual sangat layak yang ditandai dengan skor persentasi 92,66%. Selain itu, persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio-Visual berada pada nilai 84,3% dengan kategori baik

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of the discovery learning model in physics at SMA Negeri 6 Makassar. In addition to knowing the factors that become obstacles and supporters in applying the learning model in the physics at SMA Negeri 6 Makassar. To achieve these objectives, research has been conducted with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the physics teacher at SMA 6 Makassar who already has an educator certificate. Research data collection using observation techniques, interview guidelines and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that the implementation of the discovery learning model in physics had been implemented well. This inhibiting factor is that the application of discovery learning models requires more time allocation, students' characteristics, and teacher consistency in applying the dyscovery learning model. While the supporting factors of this research are the availability of facilities and infrastructures in implementing certain discovery learning models, such as learning media in the form of LCD projectors, internet facilities to facilitate students in gathering information, 2013 curriculum package books provided in school libraries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of the physics laboratory and identify the factors causing the non-optimal use of the physics laboratory in state senior high schools throughout Luwu regency. This research is a survey research with a quantitative approach. Data analysis used descriptive analysis in the form of percentages involving three high schools in Luwu district, namely SMAN 12 Luwu, SMAN 7 Luwu, and SMAN 1 Luwu. The total number of student respondents was 223 students with 103 students at SMAN 12 Luwu, 56 students at SMAN 7 Luwu, and 64 students at SMAN 1 Luwu. In addition, there were 2 teachers in each of the three schools who were used as respondents. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the use of physics laboratories in state senior high schools throughout Luwu regency for practicum activity planning indicators was in a good category, teacher readiness indicators were in a good category, indicators for the implementation of practical activities were in a good category, and indicators for the availability of practicum tools were in the less category. This study concludes that not all indicators of the use of physics laboratories in state senior high schools throughout Luwu Regency are in a good category. The factor causing the non-optimal use of the physics laboratory is the incomplete availability of tools and practicum materials in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to find factual data regarding the implementation of cognitive assessments in physics learning in the Makassar 10th Middle School. To achieve this goal, research has been carried out using a qualitative paradigm. The focus of the study was on cognitive assessments conducted by subjects at the 10th high school physics teacher in Makassar. Data were collected using questionnaires, documentation, observation, and interview techniques. The four techniques were carried out back and forth throughout the study until the data was saturated. To check the validity of the data used source triangulation techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, which consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of cognitive assessment in physics subjects in Makassar 10 public high schools had run but was not optimal. Assessment tools have been prepared by the teacher well. In conducting the assessment, the teacher does not appear to be fully consistent in carrying out cognitive assessments as previously prepared. Giving questions is made by the teacher spontaneously, sometimes taking questions from textbooks or the internet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan korelasi antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar pada tingkatan C1 (pengetahuan), C2 (pemahaman), C3 (aplikasi), dan C4 (analisis) peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika secara daring di Kelas XI MIPA SMAN 10 Luwu pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar fisika. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 10 Luwu tahun ajaran 2021/2022 sedangkan sampelnya adalah 134 peserta didik yang dipilih secara acak. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan kuesioner motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar pada materi fluida statis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik dalam pembelajaran daring. Motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar fisika pada penelitian ini berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Abstract: Application of Problem Solving Approach to Improve Comprehension of Concepts Physics Students Class X SMA Negeri 1 Ma'rang. This research aims to determine: 1) how much the physics concepts understanding of students class X SMA Negeri 1 Ma'rang in academic year 2014/2015 before they were taught using problem-solving approach. 2) how much the physics concepts understanding of students class X SMA Negeri 1 Ma'rang in academic year 2014/2015 after they were taught by problem-solving approach. 3) how high the gain of physics concepts understanding of students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Ma'rang after they were taught by problem-solving approach. The Subject in this study was the X3 class of SMA Negeri 1 Ma'rang in academic year 2014/2015. Collected data in this research was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. Based on the result of descriptive analysis, it was obtained that  average score of conceptual understanding of physics students after being taught by using problem-solving approach was greater compared to the average scores before taught by using problem-solving approach. As inferential analysis, normality test, N-gain and the estimated average were conducted. Based on the results of the data normality test for scores of conceptual understanding of physics, it could be concluded that the data of conceptual understanding of physcs both for pretest and posttest was originally from populations that were normally distributed. Based on N-gain analysis, it was showed that the improvement of conceptual understanding of physics students was of in the middle category.Keywords: problem solving, concept understandingAbstrak: Penerapan Pendekatan Pemecahan Masalah Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Fisika Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) seberapa besar pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebelum diajar dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah. 2) seberapa besar  pemahaman konsep  fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 setelah diajar dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah. 3) seberapa besar peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang setelah diajar dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah  kelas X3 SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik inferensial. Pada analisis deskriptif diperoleh skor rata-rata pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik setelah diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan pemecahan masalah lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan skor rata-rata sebelum diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan pemecahan masalah. Pada analisis inferensial digunakan uji normalitas, N-Gain dan taksiran rata-rata. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian data normalitas pada skor pemahaman konsep fisika  maka dapat dikatakan bahwa data pemahaman konsep fisika baik pretest maupun postest berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal. Pada analisis N-gain berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang.Kata Kunci:         pemecahan masalah, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

This research is a descriptive research that aims to obtain a description / level of ability on solving physics’ questions by Problem Solving of Polya steps. The population and the sample in this research were students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Baraka Enrekang year 2015/2016 year that consist of 101 people. Instruments that used in this research is test of ability on solving physics’ questions by Problem Solving of Polya steps which have valid and reliable to use. Descriptive analysis shows that score of abilty on solving physics’ question by Problem Solving of Polya steps overall in the middle category by percentage of 44,70% and the score of abilitiy on solving physics’ questions by Problem Solving of Polya steps on each sub-indicators obtain indicator, " Understanding the problem " were in the very high category by percentage of 44,56%, the indicator " Devising a plan " were in the middle categories by percentage of 35,64%, and indicators " Carrying out the plan " were in the low category by percentage of 46,53%. Keywords: problem solving of Polya, reliable, descriptive Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran/tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika menurut langkah pemecahan masalah Polya. Adapun populasi dan sekaligus menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Baraka Kabupaten Enrekang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 101 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika menurut langkah pemecahan masalah Polya yang telah valid dan reliabel untuk digunakan. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan skor kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika menurut langkah pemecahan masalah Polya secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase sebesar 44,70% dan skor kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika menurut langkah pemecahan masalah Polya, pada setiap sub indikator diperoleh untuk indikator “memahami masalah” berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 44,56%, indikator “membuat rencana” berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase sebesar 35,64%, dan indikator “melaksanakan rencana” berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase sebesar 46,53%. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA3 SMA Negeri 8 Makassar pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 yang terdiri dari 39 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat kegiatan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada siklus I dilaksanakan selama dua kali pertemuan dan pada siklus II dilaksanakan selama tiga kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data  hasil belajar  fisika siswa yang diambil dari tes setiap siklus dan data mengenai situasi belajar mengajar diambil pada saat dilaksanakan tindakan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan tes hasill belajar  pada evaluasi mata pelajaran fisika pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM adalah 14 orang dengan persentase 35,90% dan pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM adalah 32 orang dengan persentase 82,05%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA Negeri 8 Makassar kelas XI pada materi usaha dan energi.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar Fisika, Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah
