Abstract

Objective: To determine whether core strengthening exercise has an effect on static balance in children with ADHD at Wates Physiotherapy, Kediri.Methods: This article used pre and post test experiments conducted on 15 pediatric patients with ADHD. The core strengthening exercise was carried out for 4 weeks with a meeting intensity of 12 times (3 times a week).Results: Core strengthening exercise in the first week had no significant effect on static balance with a significant value of 0.055>0.05. Meanwhile, at weeks 2 to 4, it showed a significant effect with a significant result of 0.001 at week 2 and 0.000 <0.05 at weeks 3 and 4.Conclusion: Core strengthening exercise has a significant effect on improving static balance in children with ADHD in a training period of more than 1 week (minimum 2 weeks to 4 weeks / 1 month). The average of static balance increase on 15 child with ADHD after 1 month of exercise seen from the stork test is 1,54.

Abstract

Objective : To analyze the effect of giving strengthening exercise to neck pain due to spasm of the upper trapezius muscle in the contra lateral area in health workers at Toeloengredjo Hospital Pare KediriMethods : This article uses pre and post test trials conducted on 20 health workers who experience neck pain due to upper trapezius spasm. This strengthening exercise was carried out for 4 weekswith an intensity of 8 meetings (2 times a week).Results: Strengthening exercise in the first and second weeks had no significant effect on reducing neck pain with a significant value effec on reducing neck pain with a significant value with asymp. sig. 2-tailed 1.00 > 0.05. While weeks 3 and 4 experienced a decrease in pain with the value of the 3 week asymp. sig. 2-tailed value 0.025<0.05 and 0.000<0.05 at week 4.Conclusion: Strengthening exercise have an effect on reducing neck pain due to spasem of the upper trapezius contalateral area in internal health workers training health workers training period of more than 1 week (minumum 2 weeks to 4 weeks / 1 month). The average reduction in pain in 20 health workers after ² weeks was seen from the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test with an asymp value. sig. 2-tailed worth 0.000<0.05.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this research activity is to find out how effective the Core Stability Exercise and Balance Strategy Exercise are on the dynamic balance of the elderly in the Bina Asih elderly community, Jagir sub-district, RW 7, Wonokromo sub-district. Measuring the level of balance dynamically before giving the Core Stability Exercise and Balance Strategy Exercise. Measuring the level of balance dynamically after giving the Core Stability Exercise and Balance Strategy Exercise. Analyzing the effectiveness of Core Stability Exercise and Balance Strategy Exercise on the dynamic balance of the elderlyMethods: The research design that the researchers used in carrying out the process of this research activity was a design called the pre-post test control group design with support for the use of methods using a quasi-experimental approach. Data processing used a pre test as a measuring tool before receiving treatment and a post test after receiving treatment. Pre and post tests were carried out to observe the appearance or presence of inequalities in the increase in dynamic balance experienced in general by the elderly group that occurred before and after the treatment was given using the measurement process using The 3-m Backwards Walk.Results: In testing the elderly group with core stability exercise training, an improvement in The 3-m Backwards Walk (3 MBW) score was obtained as shown in table 1. The mean value before training was 13.6 seconds (SD=3.14), while the mean value after training was 6.8 seconds (SD=2. 18). By using the paired sample t-test, the value of t = 17.312 and p = 0.000 (p<0.05) is obtained, which means there is a significant difference between dynamic balance before and after core stability exercise training. This shows that core stability exercise training provides a significant increase in dynamic balance in the elderly with balance strategy exercise training, an improvement in the 3MBW score was obtained as shown in table 4. The mean before training was 12.45 seconds (SD=1.431), while the mean value after training was 7.96 seconds (SD=1.240). By using the paired sample t-test, the value of t = 37.075 and p = 0.000 (p<0.05) is obtained, which means that there is a significant difference between dynamic balance before and after balance strategy exercise training. This shows that balance strategy exercise training provides a significant increase in dynamic balance in the elderlyThis research is a quasi-experimental research through the use of using data processing, namely using pre- test as data before receiving treatment and post-test after receiving treatment (one group pre-test post-test). Abstract

Objective: Football is a branch of big ball games with the predominance of endurance, strength and speed. Soccer players must have good endurance so they don't get tired easily, in this case it requires a lot of VO2 Max. 12 minutes of running practice can increase the endurance of soccer players which has an impact on increasing VO2 Max. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of endurance training on VO2 max at the Haurkolot Village Football School.Methods: This research method uses a pre-experimental with one group pretest posttest design with a sample of 30 people with a purposive sampling technique. The data collected is VO2 Max which is measured using a bleep test. Measurements were made twice, before and after treatment. The intervention carried out was running endurance exercise for 12 minutes. The data analysis technique uses the Paired Sample Test.Results: The results of the study obtained an average VO2 Max value before endurance exercise obtained an average value = 41.073, after endurance exercise obtained an average value = 50.237 with a significance value of 0.000.Conclusion: Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of endurance training on VO2 Max at the Haurkolot Village Football School. Soccer players are expected to be able to maintain a training routine by having high motivation during training so that they have high integrity to do a 12-minute running exercise (cooper test) in order to increase endurance so as to increase VO2Max.

Abstract

Objective: The human body consists of bones that arrange each other in an orderly manner to support the body. The position of the bones that do not match the shape or anatomy of the normal human body has an influence on human body posture, especially this time for students. One of the problems experienced is a disturbance in the neck, namely FHP (Forward Head Posture) which causes an imbalance in the work of the neck muscles. For students, this condition exacerbates the situation because physiologically there has been a decrease in overall muscle performance. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Mckenzie Cervical on improving neck posture in students of the Brantas Karangkates Vocational School. To measure the degree of neck flexion in students before and after being given the Mckenzie Cervical exercise and to identify the results of the measurements taken in Boro Blitar Village.Methods: This research is a quasi-experimental research through the use of using data processing, namely using pre- test as data before receiving treatment and post-test after receiving treatment (one group pre-test post-test). Through the presence of pre-test and post-test, the reviewers can obtain objective results in the form of an increase or decrease in results. This research does not require a control group (Rianto A, 2011), this study was carried out to pay attention to the influence of Mckenzie Cervical exercises to improve posture in students before and after being given treatment, the degree of neck posture using the Geniometer in the PhysioMaster application. 36 people with 16 men, 20 women. This group has enough complaints because in their teens the ability of the musculoskeletal system naturally decreases or it could also be caused by other factors that cause complaints.Results: This research is a quasi-experimental research through the use of using data processing, namely using pre- test as data before receiving treatment and post-test after receiving treatment (one group pre-test post-test). Through the presence of pre-test and post-test, the reviewers can obtain objective results in the form of an increase or decrease in results. Results: which decreased by 6.9444 in the mean pre-test of 13.583 to 6.639 after Mckenzie Cervical. There was a decrease of 6 in the mean and mode, there was also a decrease in the standard deviation of 1.8839. So that we can conclude that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted where Mckenzie Cercical training has an effect on improving neck posture in students in Boro Blitar Village. The paired samples test shows that the significant value is p <0.05, so there is a significant difference so that H1 can be accepted . Then we can proceed to the next test, namely the bivariate test. The bivariate test shows that the value of r = 0.332 where there is a strong relationship between the two variables, and we can see the value of p = 0.048 which in this case p <0.05 so that H1 is accepted, that Mckenzie Cervical training has an effect on improving posture neck of students inConclusion: From the results of the research that was carried out for 2 weeks and the process of analyzing the data obtained, the researchers concluded that the Mckenzie Cervical training had an influence on improving the neck posture of students in the Boro Blitar Village, where we can find out from the test results and the process during the study. or the improvement in neck posture that students get when doing the McKenzie Cervical exercise is different. This is due to the interest in the research object during the training, as well as the seriousness of the students in doing the Mckenzie Cervical.

Abstract

Objective: Ankle Strategy Exercise is an exercise with controlled movement and is centered on the ankle so that the body postural muscle from distal to proximal will be optimally activated. The risk of falling occurs in the elderly as time goes by with increasing age. Falling is a cause of injury, broken bones and complications related to damage to the body structure which will cause immobilization and fear of falling again so that the elderly are less willing to move. Methods:  This research has 15 respondents using probability. The research design uses a pre-experimental type with a one group pretest and posttest approach  Results:  The result in this study, there was  an effect of ankle strategy exercise on risk falls at the elderly community in Jagir RW 1 , Wonokromo District branch with a p-value = 0.000 (p<0.05)Conclusion:  There is an influence of the ankle strategy exercise on changes in the results of the timed up and go test for the elderly group in the Jagir RW 1 Village, Wonokromo District with a Paired T-Test significance of 0.000<α (α=0.05).

Abstract

Propioceptive is the ability of the body to transfer a sense of position, break information and respond intentionally or unintentionally to lead to the right choice of action. The aging process in humans accompanied by a decrease in the ability of organs will cause disturbances in the motor body (motion function) and sensory (taste), cognitive (intelligence), memory, decreased propioceptive ability, as well as impaired balance and coordination. Propioceptive exercise is an exercise formed to increase propioceptive. If the exercise is carried out regularly, then it will be useful to restore and improve the balance.

Abstract

A company needs quality human resources to be able to compete with competitors, so quality human resources are needed. However, if health problems occur, it will reduce the quality of work of human resources. One of the health problems that affects work is low back pain (LBP), Caused, among other things by immobile back muscles and continuously over a long period of time. Husada Utama Hospital Surabaya employee spending time sitting while working for 4-6 hours a day can increase the risk of experiencing LBP. Other factors that are at risk of had a LBP are age, gender, and Sitting for long periods. This study aims to determine the relationship between Age, Gender, Long Sitting and the incidence of LBP in employees at Husada Utama Hospital, Surabaya. Using the quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional research design. Researchers used a Roland Morris questionnaire which was distributed to respondents. The sample in this study was 234 employees of Husada Utama Hospital, Surabaya, whose work pattern was dominated by a sitting position. The Results, there was a relationship between the long sitting factor and the incidence of LBP with a p-value of 0.001<0.05 for long sitting with the incidence of acute LBP and p-value 0.00 < 0.05 for long sitting with the incidence of chronic LBP. However, this is inversely proportional to the factors age and gender explained that there was no relationship between age and gender factors and the incidence of low back pain in employees at Husada Utama Hospital, Surabaya.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Osteoarthritis merupakan penyakit kronis jangka panjang dan dapat ditandai oleh adanya kemunduran atau degradasi pada kartilago atau tulang rawan sendi, sehingga dapat menyebabkan terjadinya gesekan antar tulang, menimbulkan bengkak, nyeri, kaku serta gerak sendi menjadi terbatas. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya keterbatasan dalam melakukan aktivitas hidup sehari-hari. Pada penderita osteoarthritis cenderung mengalami masalah pada fleksibititas hamstring karena durasi arthritis atau pola berjalan pasien yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya pemendekan otot hamstring sehingga memerlukan tindakan stretching hamstring exercise yang fungsinya untuk untuk meregang atau mengulur otot hamstring, selain itu pada penderita osteoarthritis juga mengalami kelemahan otot paha depan atau otot quadriceps sehingga diperlukan tindakan isometric quadriceps exercise. Tujuan: untuk menguji secara empiris perbedaan antara pemberian stretching hamstring exercise dan isometric quadriceps exercise pada penderita osteoarthritis genu primer yang mengalami keterbatasan kemampuan fungsional. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental dengan menerapkan rancangan two group pretest dan posttest dengan 40 partisipan (20 stretching hamstrinng dan 20 isometric quadriceps) yang merupakan pasien osteoarthritis genu primer grade 2 dan grade 3 dan telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Inform consent dan kuesioner WOMAC index. Hasil: menggunakan uji normalitas dengan shaphiro wilk test  untuk kelompok I dengan hasil pretest ( p=0.118 ) dan postest ( p=0.045) untuk kelompok 2 dengan hasil pretest (p= 0.054) da dan posttest (p=0.009), uji hipotesa menggunakan  Wilcoxon signed rank test pada kelompok I dengan hasil p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), kelompok 2 dengan hasil p=0.000 (p<0.05), Uji perbandingan menggunakan Mann-Whitneyy dengan hasil p=0.001 (p<0.05), Uji Efektivitas menggunakan N Gain yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian intervensi dengan hasil untuk stretching hamstring exercise (mean rank =16.55) dan hasil dari isometric quadriceps exercise (mean rank = 24.45). Kesimpulan: Pemberian isometric quadriceps exercise lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional pada penderita osteoarthritis genu
