Abstract

This qualitative research, using the analytical description approach, aims to analyze the role of the media in matching a past tense verb and its pronoun with singing methods in training students’ speaking skills. Observations were made by collecting data on the problems faced by students in learning past verbs and pronouns, as well as designing the media to match past verb with pronoun with the method of singing in the process of recognition, pronunciation and comprehension up to the articulation stage. The results of the research were that out of 20 students in the eighth grade of MTS Dar Al-Ihsan, only 5 people understood the past tense verb and its pronoun and could answer correctly. After applying this method, almost all students were able to correctly identify the verb whose use corresponds to the pronoun and were more fluent in pronouncing a past tense verb with the pronoun using the singing method.

Abstract

Based on the challenges students encounter in understanding grammatical and morphological materials, this research aims to enhance the teaching of grammatical rules by using worksheets based on the cognitive approach. This is due to the students' difficulties in grasping the grammatical rules they have learned. The worksheets were developed specifically to address this need. The students' learning conditions were consistently focused on comprehending grammar materials. The research utilized direct observation, questionnaires, expert validation, and testing as tools, and the results obtained indicate that teaching grammar using a worksheet based on the cognitive approach effectively improves students' ability to understand and apply grammatical rules.

Abstract

SMP IT Madrasatul Quran is one of the Islamic boarding schools that offer Arabic as a second language programs in the everyday school environment. This also includes memorizing verses of the Qur'an and studying Arabic for eighteen hours a week at school. They also learn to speak and understand Arabic scripts. This process is a good effort to improve students' ability and understanding of Arabic texts. But in reality, most of the students face difficulty in understanding the Arabic language, especially in understanding the text because they find it difficult to memorize the vocabulary and they have a lack of vocabulary, and this makes them weak in understanding and speaking the Arabic language. Therefore, the researcher wanted to conduct a research entitled: "The Effectiveness of the Crossword Tool in Improving Students' Understanding of the Arabic Text in SMP IT Madrasatul Quran". The aim of this research is to improve the students' ability to understand the Arabic text and know their response to the use of crossword puzzles. The method of research in this research is Classroom action research. The research was conducted on eighth grade students of the SMP IT Madrasatul Quran. The research tools used are the questionnaire and the test. The result shows that the application of the crossword puzzle is effective in improving the students' understanding of the Arabic text with the mean score 86.16, and the students respond positively with the mean score 3.64. In addition, the use of the crossword puzzle helps in motivating the students and their interest in learning and understanding the Arabic text better than before

Abstract

The Arabic language holds an exceptional position in history, culture, and religion. Studying Arabic is not limited to understanding classical and contemporary literary works from the Arab world, but also provides access to knowledge and thought in various fields of science such as history and the sciences. Arabic also plays a crucial role in religion, as the Quran, the holy book of Islam, is written in Arabic.  Educational curriculum is a structured plan or program that includes a series of subjects and educational activities designed to achieve specific educational goals. It encompasses various aspects of the learning process, including learning objectives, teaching strategies, performance assessment, and evaluation. The primary goal of educational curriculum is to provide guidance and direction for the learning process so that students can achieve their full potential. Subject matter curriculum is an approach in curriculum design that emphasizes teaching subjects separately. In this model, each subject is taught as an independent and separate unit, without attempting to link the subjects together. Subject matter curriculum places greater emphasis on understanding concepts and facts in each discipline deeply.

Abstract

Era globalisasi menuntut penguasaan teknologi yang berkembang pesat, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Teknologi mempengaruhi proses belajar mengajar melalui media pembelajaran yang efektif. Tanpa media, pembelajaran cenderung monoton. Begitu pula dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama keterampilan Mahȃrah Al-Kitȃbah (menulis), yang sering dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif sangat penting untuk mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini memaparkan pengembangan media pembelajaran Mahȃrah Al-Kitȃbah melalui permainan bahasa, salah satunya permainan melengkapi huruf yang hilang. Media ini bertujuan untuk mengubah persepsi siswa, bahwa belajar menulis bahasa Arab itu mudah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan bahasa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Siswa yang awalnya kesulitan dalam menuliskan kosakata bahasa Arab dengan benar, setelah menggunakan media ini, dapat menuliskannya dengan lebih mudah. Media berbasis permainan ini dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam mengajarkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab.

Abstract

The community empowerment program based on Nile tilapia cultivation using the biostimulant RAS system was expected to enhance their economic independence. The main challenges included limited access to information, education, and technology, as well as a lack of support in business management. The program aimed to address these issues and provide a positive impact on the welfare of the disability community. The activity titled 'Productive Efforts for Sensory (Hearing Impairment/Deafness) and Physical Disabilities through Nile Tilapia Cultivation Using a Circular Biostimulant RAS System in the Teras Inklusi Community' was conducted using a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. The installation of the circular RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) ponds in the field proceeded as planned, with all system components, such as the circular ponds, filtration system, and water distribution pipes, installed correctly and functioning properly. During the installation process, coordination between the PKM team and partners was effective, resulting in no significant obstacles. The training activity successfully enhanced the participants' understanding and competencies significantly. Evaluation results showed an increase in the number of participants categorized as Good from 25% in the pre-test to 85% in the post-test. Furthermore, no participants were in the Poor category after the training.

Abstract

The dende game as a traditional game not only has educational value, but also a means of cultural preservation that can be integrated in early childhood learning activities in a contextual and fun way this game is played in groups and involves physical activity. Using a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, this study involved two classes in group B at Jaya Purnama Kindergarten, Bulukumba Regency, consisting of 12 children as the experimental group and 12 children as the control group. The Dende game was implemented in the experimental group with 8 times of treatment intervention, while the control group received regular learning without special treatment. The data collection instrument used an observation sheet containing indicators of children's locomotor abilities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test to determine differences between the two groups. The results of hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups. Based on the analysis conducted using SPSS 23 IBM, the t_hitung value was 29.472, while the t_table was 1.717 with a Sig. value of 0.00 <0.05. The intervention given to the experimental class had a positive effect in improving children's locomotor abilities compared to the control class, so it can be concluded that the dende game has a significant effect in improving children's locomotor abilities, with a significant increase in balance, muscle strength, agility

Abstract

Keterampilan Menyimak merupakan suatu proses dalam pengetahuan berbahasa yang memerlukan tingkat perhatian cukup tinggi agar bisa memahami, mendapatkan informasi atau pesan serta menangkap isi dari bahan simakan yang telah didengarkan. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengembangkan keterampilan menyimak, guru perlu kreatif dan inovatif menggunakan strategi atau media pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran seperti salah satunya adalah audio visual. Adapun model penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan mengacu pada model ADDIE dengan lima tahap yaitu: Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Implementasi,Evaluasi. Model ini dipilih karena kemudahan dan kesederhanaan untuk diimplementasikan. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu audio visual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari guru yang tidak mempraktekan secara berulang-ulang kepada siswa dan guru masih menggunakan metode konvensional, dan kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran sehingga siswa dalam memahami materi kurang efektif. Dan awal mulanya siswa kurang bisa mengucapkan kosa kata dengan benar serta sulit untuk mengingat kosa kata setelah peneliti menggunakan media ini sebagai alterntif, maka mudah bagi siswa untuk mengingatnya. Karena bukan hanya sekedar menyimak atau mendengar dari video, tapi peneliti juga menyuruh siswa satu persatu untuk mengucapkan kosa kata sehingga peneliti melihat adanya kemajuan dari siswa. Serta siswa sangat semangat dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Teaching the Arabic language in the primary stage must take into account their growth in body and mind. The teacher must choose the appropriate materials for them and the methods used to teach them the second language. Otherwise, they should only be taught their mother tongue because they are in the stage of mental and physical development and need to be introduced to basic concepts and a wealth of new vocabulary in their own language. Among the appropriate materials and methods for teaching Arabic as a second language are songs and memorization. One of the most important differences between the two is that songs are pieces of poetry arranged in a specific form, while memorizing pieces may be poetry or prose. Likewise, chants differ from memorization in terms of topics and purposes, as the contents of chants are limited to the emotional and ethical aspects, while the circle of contents of the memorization pieces expands to include, in addition to the emotional and ethical aspects, deep philosophical and mental contents, so it multiplies with the multiplicity of topics in memorization, linguistic purposes and objectives, and others.

Abstract

Nahwu is a system for controlling the use of language and is linked to all linguistic skills. And teaching grammar in the third class is using the book al-Kawakib al-Durriyah. When the teacher asked the students to explain the grammatical rules found in other turast books, the students realized the difficulty. And the reasons for the difficulty of applying them in turast books for students memorizing the rules without the exercises. This research aims to identify the process of Nahwu learning by using the book al-Kawakib Al-Durriyah with a student worksheet in Nahwu learning based on the problem-solving method, and to identify their effectiveness, and to identify the students’ response to their use of Putri Muslimat Collage Samalanga. In this research, the researcher adopted experimental research. The community consisted of 316 students, and the researcher chose 55 students as a sample. The researcher observes, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The researcher found the results that the students' activities got a score of 80.35% which is excellent. As for the teacher's activities, it got a score of 80.35%, which is excellent. As for its use, it indicates that the result of the significance is 0,00 < 0, 05 and it is effective. The value of the questionnaire is 85.97% indicating that excellent.
