Abstract

The research problem in this thesis is that many students of class two mistakenly write Hamzah, for example in the verb "اطمأن", in the form of Fi'il Madhi written on alif, and in the form of fi Mudhari 'written on “ya”, such as يطمئن. Most of them make mistakes in writing it because they are ineffective and are not focused on learning the rules of writing Hamzah and they cannot distinguish between Hamzah in Arabic writing because the lessons of Imla' and Insha' are important tools for written expression in terms of truth and integrity the mistake. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the teacher and student activities in the application of the modified method in the learning of the method of Hamzah for Second-grade level students of Junior High School Inshafuddin Boarding School and to identify students' responses in the application of the modified method of learning the method of Hamzah and to identify the effectiveness of the application of the modified method in the learning of the Hamzah Method for Junior High School of Integrated Inshafuddin Boarding School. The method used by researchers to compile this thesis is an experimental approach, which is a scientific research method that researchers use to determine the effect of causes (independent variables) on outcomes (dependent variables), which have a clear effect on the progress of natural science. The results obtained from this study are the application of a modified method in teaching the method of Hamzah to run well which learning the method of Hamzah in an interesting and easy way for students and can increase their desire to learn it. Likewise, the student's response to applying the modified method in teaching the method of Hamzah is good because students can answer all questions easily and improve their ability to write Hamzah. In addition, the application of the modified method is also effective as stated in the post-test after the learning process of the Hamzah Method. The researcher obtained different pre-test and post-test results in which the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted with the result ("T" Test) higher than the results of "T" Table in the form of 2.81 <5.36 <07, 2 according to the level of significance. Therefore, the modified method of teaching the method of Hamzah is very effective and can improve the ability of students to write Hamzah.

Abstract

Qawaid Nahwu is one of the most important aspects of learning Arabic, which is related to determining the function of each word in a sentence, as well as giving the final Tashkeel of each word and explaining the function of each word based on its position in a sentence. To achieve success in the learning process, a teacher is required to use methods, techniques, and teaching media to achieve learning objectives. Based on the research observation at the Ulumul Qur'an Boarding School in Aceh Besar, the researcher found that the Nahwu teacher at the pesantren used the book Al-Nahwu Al-Wadhih but he did not use learning media during the teaching-learning process, so students felt bored, such as lack of attention on the subject matter and some of them also interrupted the class during the teaching-learning process. On the other hand, boredom is also caused by the teacher not using appropriate techniques that are suitable for students in the teaching-learning process. This condition causes a lack of response from students during the learning process. Therefore, the researcher will try to apply inductive methods using STAD techniques and question-and-answer card media to improve students' abilities in learning Nahwu. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out students’ responses to Nahwu learning by applying the inductive method using STAD techniques and question-and-answer card media in Nahwu learning and to know their effectiveness in increasing students' abilities in Nahwu learning. This study is an experimental study with a post-test-only control group design. The population in this study were all level students at the Ulumul Quran boarding school while the sample was all students of class 2a as a control group and 2c as an experimental group totaling 44 people. The instruments used were post-test and interview. To analyze the data in this study, testers used the t-test formula using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study, the data shows that the use of inductive methods using STAD techniques and question-and-answer card media is effective in increasing the ability of students to learn Nahwu in the Ulumul Qur'an boarding school. This is evident from the results of the value Sig.0.00 <0.05. This shows that the hypothetical (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

The development of a method is research conducted to produce a specific product. Textbooks the prominent sources to attract student’s attention. The content of the grammar in the textbook makes students bored and lack enthusiasm for Arabic lessons. Therefore then the researcher developed the textbook in the composition of the PowerPoint, to support the bold reform steps in the installation. For this purpose, this research aims to learn how to develop a textbook “Ayo Belajar Bahasa Arab untuk MI Kelas IV” as well as to find out the effectiveness of the product from the development of this book. The approach adopted by the researcher in this research thesis is the methodology of scientific research and development (Research & Development R & D). The data collection consisted of direct observation, test, and questionnaire on the fourth-grade students. The Arabic book has been developed with the following steps: potential and issues, data collection, production design, certification production with the expert in teaching and learning, improvement of production, sampling of production in the sales group, and improvement of production. The use of books that have been developed with PowerPoint is effective in improving students understanding in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam has many students from different departments, including the Department of Biology, Department of Physics, and some others, the researcher noticed that most of them are able to answer questions correctly in the exercises. In fact, that book shows the short material and many tests, and each test has a variety of items. Therefore, the researcher wanted to analyze the form of the test items. In this paper, the researcher determines whether the test items in the Conversation Subject at the Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam are appropriate in terms of the level of validity, reliability, difficulty, and in terms of the level of discrimination. The purpose of scientific writing is to find out the suitability of the test items in the Conversation Subject At The Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam in terms of the level of validity, reliability, difficulty, and in terms of the level of discrimination. As for the research method that the researcher used, it is the content analysis method. The population in this research is all students in SCTV’s dormitory which is 183 students and the research took 22 students for sampling. In data collection researcher used documentation, that is, the test items in the Arabic Language Lessons Book for Non-Native Speakers Part One and the author is Dr. F. Abdurrahim in the Conversation Subject At The Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam. Based on the research can be obtained that the questions test which presented by the teacher are not in accordance with the standard item test in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discrimination.

Abstract

Teaching the Arabic language in the primary stage must take into account their growth in body and mind. The teacher must choose the appropriate materials for them and the methods used to teach them the second language. Otherwise, they should only be taught their mother tongue because they are in the stage of mental and physical development and need to be introduced to basic concepts and a wealth of new vocabulary in their own language. Among the appropriate materials and methods for teaching Arabic as a second language are songs and memorization. One of the most important differences between the two is that songs are pieces of poetry arranged in a specific form, while memorizing pieces may be poetry or prose. Likewise, chants differ from memorization in terms of topics and purposes, as the contents of chants are limited to the emotional and ethical aspects, while the circle of contents of the memorization pieces expands to include, in addition to the emotional and ethical aspects, deep philosophical and mental contents, so it multiplies with the multiplicity of topics in memorization, linguistic purposes and objectives, and others.

Abstract

Nahwu is a system for controlling the use of language and is linked to all linguistic skills. And teaching grammar in the third class is using the book al-Kawakib al-Durriyah. When the teacher asked the students to explain the grammatical rules found in other turast books, the students realized the difficulty. And the reasons for the difficulty of applying them in turast books for students memorizing the rules without the exercises. This research aims to identify the process of Nahwu learning by using the book al-Kawakib Al-Durriyah with a student worksheet in Nahwu learning based on the problem-solving method, and to identify their effectiveness, and to identify the students’ response to their use of Putri Muslimat Collage Samalanga. In this research, the researcher adopted experimental research. The community consisted of 316 students, and the researcher chose 55 students as a sample. The researcher observes, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The researcher found the results that the students' activities got a score of 80.35% which is excellent. As for the teacher's activities, it got a score of 80.35%, which is excellent. As for its use, it indicates that the result of the significance is 0,00 < 0, 05 and it is effective. The value of the questionnaire is 85.97% indicating that excellent.

Abstract

Based on the challenges students encounter in understanding grammatical and morphological materials, this research aims to enhance the teaching of grammatical rules by using worksheets based on the cognitive approach. This is due to the students' difficulties in grasping the grammatical rules they have learned. The worksheets were developed specifically to address this need. The students' learning conditions were consistently focused on comprehending grammar materials. The research utilized direct observation, questionnaires, expert validation, and testing as tools, and the results obtained indicate that teaching grammar using a worksheet based on the cognitive approach effectively improves students' ability to understand and apply grammatical rules.

Abstract

Based on the research problem, which is the teaching of reading skills using the book "Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah" at MTs Insan Qur'ani, it is observed that the use of modern electronic instructional materials aligned with the advancements in digital technology to deliver content in accordance with the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 era has not been incorporated. The purpose of this research is to investigate and develop the "Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah" instructional book using an Interactive E-Book to enhance the reading skills of female students and assess the effectiveness of its implementation. The research instruments encompass interviews, questionnaires, and tests based on Borg and Gall's theory. The research subjects consist of 28 students from class VII-C (grade 1 of MTs) at MTs Insan Qur'ani for the academic year 2022-2023. The findings reveal that the development of the "Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah" book for reading instruction using an Interactive E-Book is highly effective. In the final test conducted, the students achieved a total score of 2259 with an average score of 80.67, surpassing the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) for reading skills, which is set at >75.

Abstract

إعتمادا على الملاحظة المباشرة بـ MAN 3 Aceh Besar أن المعلم قد يصعب في تطبيق الوسائل المناسبة في تعليم المبتدأ والخبر، وعلّم الطلبة الدرس بوسيلة الكتاب المقرر فقط، إن هذا الحال لا يرتفع قدرة الطلبة في مهارة الإستماع والكلام والقراءة والكتابة.  وكذلك شكى الطلبة في المرحلة الثانوية أن تعلم المبتدأ والخبر بدون الوسائل صعبة ويصعب في فهمها واستيعابها حتى يشعروا سائمين في التعلم. و لمعالجة هذه المشكلات يقوم الباحثون باستخدام بطاقة تركيب الجمل في تعليم المبتدأ والخبر. وأما أغراض كتابة هذه الرسالة فهي لمعرفة قدرة الطلبة على فهم المبتدأ والخبر باستخدام بطاقة تركيب الجمل. وأما دراسة البحث التي استعملتها الباحثة فهي دراسة تجريبية بالتصميمات التمهيدية (One group – Pretest Postest Design)، ولجمع البيانات مستعملة بالملاحظة المباشرة والاختبار. والمجتمع من هذا البحث هو جميع الطلبة بـ MAN 3 Aceh Besarـ. وأما العينة من هذ البحث وهو الفصل الأول  MIA (2) وعددهم 17 طالبا. وأما النتائج من هذا البحث فهي  أن استخدام وسيلة بطاقة تركيب الجمل فعالة لترقية قدرة الطلبة على فهم المبتدأ والخبر بنتيجة الاختبار التائي (T-test)أكبر من نتيجة الجدول التائي(T- tabel) بالصيغة (2.58 <6,36>2.92)، وهذا يدل على أن فرض الصفري (Ho) مردود وفرض البديل (Ha) مقبول أن استخدام وسيلة بطاقة تركيب الجمل تؤدّى إلى ترقية قدرة الطلبة على سيطرة المبتدأ والخبر.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi ketika mengajar beberapa mata kuliah yang berbahasa arab di jurusan Bahasa Arab UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh didapatkan bahwa, masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum mampu memahami bacaan teks dalam bahasa Arab dengan baik dan benar, baik dari segi kaidah nahwu dan sharah ataupun memahami maksud yang diinginkan oleh sebuah teks, hal ini menjadi masalah besar bagi mahasiswa jurusan bahasa arab kedepan karena, hampir semua mata kuliah di jurusan disajikan dengan bahan berbahasa arab. Oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi masalah ini penulis menawarkan sebuah media pengajaran dalam ketrampilan membaca bahasa Arab yaitu laboratorium membaca (ma’mal qiraah). Laboratorium membaca ini terdapat di dalamnya berbagai bacaan singkat dari tingkat dasar sampai tingkat lanjut dalam upaya mengetahui penguasan dan peningkatan terhadap kemampuan bacaan mahasiswa.
