Abstract

This article discusses pancer in the Javanese traditional Javanese music presentation of the Surakarta style. The word pancer is also used in several Javanese philosophies of life. This paper tries to unravel the correlation of the concept of pancer in the life of the Javanese society with the Javanese traditional music of Surakarta style. In Javanese life, the concept of pancawara and saptawara are well known. Meanwhile, the Javanese karawitan of the Surakarta style uses the concept of five tones for sléndro and five tones for pélog although physically, in the pélog barrel it involves seven tones. The methods used in writing this article include literature study, musicology (karawitan) studies, social approaches, interviews, and observations as well as collecting several collections of recordings for analysis. In this case, the kempyung theory and the concept of Martopangrawit's tone strength as well as the pathet concept (biang pathet in the laras sléndro) by Sri Hastanto are used as analytical tools. The results of the analysis found that not all notes in karawitan can be used as pancer. Pancer in Javanese philosophy represents the life link of the Javanese people, while pancer in karawitan shows the character and the sense of gending.

Abstract

Kepemilikan jurnal oleh fakultas atau program studi di suatu perguruan tinggi (PT) merupakan keunggulan bersaing institusi untuk meningkatkan kinerja publikasi PT dan mempercepat pencapaian fungsional (lektor kepala dan guru besar) bagi dosen di PT tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan agar setiap fakultas atau program studi mampu merancang dan mengembangkan jurnal bereputasi sebagai wadah publikasi. Terdapat dua tahap kegiatan yang dilakukan 1) Workshop Penulisan paper pada jurnal berkualitas dan 2) Workshop Pengelolaan Jurnal berkualitas. Pengabdian ini menyadarkan peserta untuk memahami kunci keberhasialn pengelolaan jurnal yaitu 1) komitmen pengelola, 2) dukungan mitra bestari dan 3) kerjasama dengan asosiasi. Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis,  Universitas Sebelas Maret (FEB UNS) bersama dengan Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia (ISEI) Surakarta telah merancang dan mengembangkan jurnal untuk mempublikasikan jurnal yang secara bertahap dapat ditingkatkan kuliatasnya dan terindeks SINTA dan SCOPUS.

Abstract

The Community Service activity is intended to provide an alternative to fulfill the needs of healthy vegetables for housewives in the Kentingan area. RW 10 Jebres Surakarta. This activity is intended to help residents in the Kentingan area of RW 10 Jebres, especially in meeting the needs of a variety of healthy vegetables (such as mustard greens, kale, lettuce), and can also economically provide benefits for saving on daily spending, especially vegetables. On the other hand, assistance in the cultivation of healthy, fresh and green organic vegetables is expected to have a positive impact in improving people's lives in the Kentingan area, RW 10 Jebres Surakarta. This Community Service activity is more focused on involving PKK women in the Kentingan area of RW 10 Jebres Surakarta. PKK RW 10 Jebres Surakarta women will later receive training and assistance on organic vegetable cultivation that can be applied in the future

Abstract

Service robots are becoming increasingly essential in offices or domestic environments, usually called domestic service robots (DSR). They must navigate and interact seamlessly with their surroundings, including humans and objects, which relies on effective mapping and localization. This study focuses on mapping, employing the light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensor. The sensor, tested at proximity, gathers distance data to generate two-dimensional maps on a mini-PC. Additionally, it provides rotational positioning and robot odometry, broadening coverage through robot movement. A microcontroller with wireless smartphone connectivity facilitates control via Bluetooth. The robot is also equipped with ultrasonic sensors serving as a bumper. Testing in rooms of varying sizes using three methods (i.e., Hector simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), Google Cartographer, and real-time appearance-based mapping (RTAB-Map)) yielded good quality maps. The best F1-measure value was 96.88% achieved by Google Cartographer. All the results demonstrated the feasibility of this approach for DSR development across diverse applications.
