Abstract

Background: The rapid development of digital technology has increased gadget use among adolescents, particularly junior high school (SMP) students. While gadget use can be beneficial as a learning medium and source of information, it also has the potential to negatively impact physical, emotional, and social health if not used wisely. Purpose: This study aims to examine gadget use among eighth-grade students. Method: The study employed a quantitative descriptive design with a survey method and a cross-sectional approach. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula and drawn using a non-probability purposive sampling technique, resulting in 60 respondents from a total population of 150 eighth-grade students. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire structured based on gadget use indicators. Univariate analysis was conducted using frequency distributions and cross-tabulations. Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents were male (60.0%) and 13 years old (61.7%). Gadget use was dominated by the moderate category (60.0%), followed by the high category (23.3%) and the low category (16.7%). Cross-tabulations show that both male and female students are mostly in the moderate gadget use category, with the highest prevalence occurring at age 13. Conclusion: Gadget use among eighth-grade students was mostly in the moderate category. Suggestion: Based on these research findings, it is recommended that schools and parents supervise and educate students so that gadget use can be more judicious and balanced.

Abstract

Halusinasi pendengaran pada pasien skizofrenia merupakan gangguan persepsi sensori yang dapat mengancam keselamatan diri atau orang lain. Penatalaksanaan non-farmakologi yang dapat membantu pasien mengelola gejala dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup yaitu terapi spiritual atau psikoreligius (zikir). Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan terapi psikoreligius zikir pada pasien skizofrenia dengan halusinasi pendengaran. Metode penelitian berbentuk studi kasus deskriptif dengan sasaran pasien skizofrenia beragama Islam dengan halusinasi pendengaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi perilaku, pemeriksaan fisik, dan dokumentasi rekam medis. Hasil penelitian selama tiga hari menunjukkan pasien Sdr. A mampu mengenali dan mengontrol halusinasi melalui manajemen halusinasi dan terapi zikir dengan hasil pada fase halusinasi membaik, skor AHRS turun 26 (berat) menjadi 10 (ringan), disertai penurunan gejala (bisikan, menarik diri, melamun) dan peningkatan konsentrasi. Oleh karena itu, terapi zikir dapat memanfaatkan sumber daya spiritual pasien, meningkatkan penerimaan, kepatuhan, serta membantu pasien mengurangi gangguan halusinasi, sehingga asuhan keperawatan menjadi lebih efektif.

Abstract

Halusinasi pendengaran merupakan salah satu gejala umum skizofrenia yang dapat berdampak buruk bagi pasien. Studi kasus ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan terapi musik klasik untuk mengatasi halusinasi pendengaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus deskriptif yang berfokus pada subjek tunggal, yaitu Sdr. F, seorang pasien skizofrenia dengan masalah persepsi sensori berupa halusinasi pendengaran di Soerojo Hospital Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan terapi musik klasik terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan tanda dan gejala halusinasi, yang ditunjukkan oleh berkurangnya verbalisasi mendengar bisikan, perilaku menarik diri, dan kecurigaan, serta membaiknya konsentrasi pasien. Oleh karena itu, terapi musik klasik dapat menjadi intervensi keperawatan yang efektif sebagai bagian dari asuhan keperawatan untuk pasien dengan halusinasi pendengaran.

Abstract

Keberhasilan spinal anestesi penting untuk mengurangi risiko penyuntikan berulang dan komplikasi. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan menentukan titik acuan, pengalaman penyedia layanan, serta posisi punggung pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keberhasilan spinal anestesi dengan posisi pasien. Penelitian menggunakan desain observasional potong lintang dengan 41 responden melalui total sampling. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan koefisien kontigensi. Hasil menunjukkan 51% pasien berada pada Hamstring Stretch Position (HSP) dan 49% pada Crossed Leg Sitting Position (CLSP), dengan sebagian besar memerlukan satu kali penyuntikan. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara posisi HSP dan CLSP terkait keberhasilan spinal anestesi. Keberhasilan dipengaruhi kemampuan pasien melakukan fleksi tulang belakang sehingga mempermudah palpasi prosesus spinosus dan penetrasi jarum ke ruang subaraknoid.

Abstract

Adolescence is a time of searching for identity and identity. Many adolescents experience mentally-related problems related to the maturation process such as self-esteem, where self-esteem is very important for adolescents in their development. Self-esteem is influenced by several factors, one of which is the use of social media. This study aimed to see if there was a relationship between the intensity of social media use and self-esteem in adolescents. This research method is descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional design. Samples of 91 students of SMK Kesehatan Kesatrian 2 Purwokerto class X and XI were taken using proportionated random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out by distributing Social Network Time Usage Scale (SONTUS) and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) questionnaires. The results of the Spearman test of social media use intensity and self-esteem obtained a p-value <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value of r = -0.267. The results of this study show a negative correlation between the intensity of social media use and self-esteem, meaning that the higher the use of social media, the lower self-esteem. Teenagers should use social media wisely to avoid its negative impact on self-esteem problems

Abstract

Surgery is one of the medical procedures divided into three periods of pre operative, intra operative, and post operative. At least 11% of the global disease burden comes from conditions that can actually be addressed through surgery. Surgical procedures will certainly require anesthesia, one of which is general anesthesia with the Endotracheal Tube (ETT) intubation technique. Endotracheal Tube (ETT) intubation can cause various complications, the most common being postoperative sore throat. One of the risk factors for sore throat after Endotracheal Tube (ETT) intubation is the duration of surgery. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study consisted of 30 patients undergoing surgery with general anesthesia using the Endotracheal Tube (ETT) intubation technique, determined by quota sampling. The research instruments used were a clock to measure the duration of surgery and an observation sheet containing the measurement of sore throat level using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data analysis in this study included univariate and bivariate analyses, with the latter tested using the Spearman rank test. The results of the Spearman rank test between the variables of surgical duration and postoperative sore throat in general anesthesia with the Endotracheal Tube (ETT) intubation technique showed a p = 0.000 and an r = 0.912, which means that the two variables have a significant and positive relationship in line with a very strong correlation strength. This indicates that the longer the duration of surgery, the higher the postoperative sore throat scale in general anesthesia with the Endotracheal Tube (ETT) intubation technique.
