Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan game online terhadap minat belajar sisiwa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif jenis desktiptif untuk mengungkapkan suatu fakta, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 54 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa angket yang terdiri dari 19 soal. Berdasakan hasil analisis perhitungan dengan skala Guttman menunjukan angka 64,8%, hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh penggunaan game online terhadap minat belajar siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan game online tidak mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pada saat kondisi pandemi, guru perlu menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai dengan materi yang akan disampaikan dan tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai. Tujuan dalam penelitian untuk mengetahui respon guru terhadap kendala dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi pada masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengisian angket berupa Google Form. Hasil dari respon para guru yaitu mengenai kehadiran 70% - 90% melakukan alternatif berupa via on camera dan gooogle form, mengenai kendala sinyal dan kuota dari 90% - 100% menyiapkan alternatif berupa pemberian bahan ajar dan media, mengenai kendala penilaian dari 60% - 100% menyiapkan alternatif berupa daily journey dan diskusi, mengenai kendala penjelasan materi rata-rata guru menyiapkan alternatif berupa video penjelasan 60%, kuis 100% dan video animasi 100%, mengenai kendala praktikum bahwa guru rata-rata memberikan alternatif membuat video dan memberi soal dengan 100% dan memberikan alternatif video sederhana 80%. Beberapa kendala yang terjadi pada pembelajaran biologi secara daring antara lain jaringan internet, kehadiran siswa selama berlangsungnya pembelajaran, proses berlangsungnya pembelajaran, pelaksanaan praktikum dan penilaian siswa. Dari kendala tersebut guru memberikan beberapa alternatif agar pembelajaran tetap berlangsung ditengah keterbatasan antara guru dan siswa.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran, peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model Think Talk Write. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Pre-experimental dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas berjumlah 30 siswa yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Plus Al-Hasan Banjarsari. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi siswa dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,64 kategori sedang. Adapun keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada aktivitas guru dan siswa diperoleh masing-masing nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,66% dan 85,48% kategori sangat baik. Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,13% kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Think Talk Write dalam pembelajaran dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa pada materi sistem respirasi manusia.Kata kunci: model Think Talk Write, kemampuan argumentasi, sistem respirasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada model pembelajaran three levels of inquiry dan untuk mengatahui adakah pengaruh dari model pembelajaran three levels of inquiry terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest dan posttest dengan desain penelitian pretest – posttest control group design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Situraja, Kabupaten Sumedang  semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan sampel dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa test tertulis berbentuk essay yang setiap soalnya disesuaikan dengan kelima indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent simple t test sedangkan untuk menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan uji N-Gain Score. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas yang menggunakan model three level of inquiry dan terdapat  pengaruh dari model pembelajaran three levels of inquiry terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is the ability to understand scientific concepts and processes and use science to solve everyday problems which can be developed using the three level of inquiry learning model. This research aims to analyze the effect of the three level of inquiry learning model to improve students' scientific literacy skills in biodiversity material. This type of research is a quasi experiment with samples taken using a purposive sampling technique. The research results showed that the implementation of learning using the three level of inquiry model obtained a percentage score of 100% for teacher teaching activities and 97.7% for student learning activities. The increase in students' scientific literacy abilities in the experimental class and control class obtained an N-Gain value of 0.66 (medium) and 0.4 (medium), and a significance level of 0.003 <0.05 was obtained, which means there is a difference in the increase in students' scientific literacy abilities in classes with and without the three level of inquiry model. The results of student responses to learning obtained very good criteria with a percentage of 90%. Based on the research that has been conducted, it is concluded that the use of the three levels of inquiry learning model has a positive influence on increasing students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires that it is important for every individual to have digital literacy skills as a competency in facing the challenges of advancing globalization. Education is a means of improving digital literacy skills, one of the efforts made is through implementing the flipped classroom learning model in learning activities. This research aims to further explore the effectiveness of the flipped classroom model in increasing digital literacy in biology learning. The research was conducted on a sample of 28 Class XI MIPA 2 students at SMA Mekar Arum Cileunyi, Kab. Bandung. Data were collected using a pretest-posttest in the form of 10 essay questions on the Circulation System material, then the results obtained were tested statistically. In this study, it was found that there was an increase in positive ranks from the pretest and posttest results in the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank statistical test where the Z value, namely -4.631b, was smaller than 0.05 so that H0 was accepted. So it can be concluded that the flipped classroom learning model has an effect on digital literacy skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to apply or implement the guided method in hydroponic learning in mentally retarded classes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method which is carried out by observation, interviews, and studying documents. The results of this research show that the application of guided methods in hydroponic learning in mentally retarded classes has proven to be good for improving the skills of students with special needs. This is proven by the fact that SLB students in the intellectually challenged class can plant water spinach hydroponically. Guided method with a structured approach that focuses on facilitating understanding of hydroponic concepts and developing students' practical skills in growing crops without soil. The guided method also helps students build critical skills such as problem solving, social skills, and the ability to adapt to students with special needs. In this research, it was concluded that the guided method used could help students with intellectual disabilities in hydroponic farming and train cooperation between students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on increasing Self-Esteem and student learning outcomes in the excretory system material. In this study, there are two types of variables used. First, the independent variable is the level of student self-esteem, and the dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students. The study was conducted at MTS Al-Misbah located at Jalan Desa Cipadung No.22, Cibiru District, Bandung City, West Java. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTS Al-Misbah consisting of two classes, namely class VIII A and VIII B with a total of 73 students. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The learning outcomes of students using the PBL model produced an N-gain of 0.7 with a high category. In addition, the results of self-esteem after using the PBL model got a high category, this proves that the learning model can affect the level of student self-esteem. The application of PBL in an effort to improve students' self-esteem is one solution where with this model students are more involved in the learning process so that it can improve students' self-esteem and learning outcomes. So, from the two hypothesis tests it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PBL learning model on improving students' Self-Esteem and learning outcomes in the excretory system material.

Abstract

Scientific argumentation skills are one of the supporting factors in developing students who have 21st century skills. This study aims to see the use of the TRGSR strategy using Nearpod in reproductive system learning to improve students' scientific argumentation skills. The research method used is Quasi-experimental with Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sample used in this study were two classes, the experimental class and the control class with a total of 72 students using the Purposive Sampling method. There are three instruments used to measure the improvement of scientific argumentation skills, namely the implementation observation sheet, student response questionnaire, and scientific argumentation skill level test. The results of the study from the implementation of teacher and student activities in the experimental class were 87% (Very Good). The student response to reproductive system learning in the experimental class was 75.42% (Good). The improvement of scientific argumentation skills in the experimental class was classified as High with an N-Gain value of 0.72 while the control class was 0.62 (Medium). Meanwhile, there was an increase in each level of scientific argumentation skills in the experimental class with a final average Post-test of 81.67 (Excellent).
