Abstract

Intense competition in today's industrial world requires companies to keep abreast of developments. The more years, higher the need for labor costs. To reduce high production costs, one step is to cut existing labor. By cutting the number of workers, the workload that will be borne by workers will also increase. PT. SPINDO, is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of the steel pipe industry. To expand market reach, a breakthrough was made to open a new depot located in the city of Samarinda. At the beginning of the opening along with the Covid-19 outbreak, market demand was minimal. The impact on the work load in the depot is also low. The Full Time Equivalent method is a calculation process that uses working time as a reference in determining workload. In this research, the workload value most of the employees at PT. SPINDO Depo Samarinda is included in the underload category. So that man power planning is needed by cutting the number of existing employees to balance work load and the number of manpower. After the manpower planning was carried out, the work load that was previously unbalanced was balanced because the workload had been distributed to the employees.

Abstract

Alfamidi is a minimarket that sells fresh good products, frozen food processed meat that is needed by the public. An example of the product under study was in the form of 2 liter packaged sunco cooking oil. This study aims to predict the stock of goods not in line with sales of goods because customer demand is not always the same or uncertain for each item. Therefore it is necessary to predict the addition of stock of goods so that the addition of stock of goods is more in line with sales of goods. The step to solve this problem in this research is by using the Tsukamoto method the optimum value of the 2-liter packaged SunCo cooking oil product supply can be obtained. The first thing that is done using the Tsukamoto method is to make the process of combining 9 fuzzy sets as follows: Decreasing demand, Fixed demand, Increasing demand, Low supply, Medium inventory, Decreasing delivery of goods, Fixed goods delivery and Increasing goods shipments and determining crisp output. In the existing condition of Alfamidi minimarkets with 2 liter Sunco products, the demand for shipping goods is always excessive. So that in the Tsukamoto method, each consequent in the IF-THEN form must be represented by a fuzzy set with a monotonous membership function. As a result, the inference result of each rule is given crisp based on the α-predicate (fire strength). The final result uses a weighted average. So that it can be analyzed the stock of 2 liter packaged Sunco cooking oil that must be sent in November, namely 673 packs.

Abstract

Air cooler is a system or machine designed to stabilize the air temperature and humidity in a certain area by circulating it. In the air cooler production process at PT GIJ, very high accuracy is also needed in the process and is still carried out by 1 worker in each part of the production process manually and the time it takes is relatively long up to more than 2 hours from normal time and results in employees fatigue easily. This study uses the work load analysis (WLA) method to reduce the workload obtained by completing the work at a certain working time and then improving the work system using the macroergonomic analysis and design (MEAD) method to determine the need for rest time in several production process activities. From the results of this study indicate the value of the workload after doing research using the work load analysis (WLA) method, the results of the workload at the component stage are 0.52 and the line process stage is 0.51 which means that from the stages of the production process each is declared to get a load. underload or normal work and the results obtained from the calculation of the need for rest time using the macroergonomic analysis and design (MEAD) method, the results of energy consumption are 2.52 kcal/minute and the results obtained are the need for rest time of 64.15 minutes so that the rest time needed by employees for stretching the body by 4.15 minutes outside the normal rest time of 60 minutes.

Abstract

Physical work and body posture will be related to the workload obtained, because it will affect production results. Based on the observations of 4 packing operators, there are problems with how they work, so there are some defective/failed to packs products, because some operators complain of fatigue, especially in the hands, back, and feet, and do not focus on one job. From material lifting, and packing processes to cleaning up failed products and products that fall from the conveyor. The methods used are the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL), Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), and Occupational Repetitive Action (OCRA). can find out the level of risk category of each packing operator, and can improve posture/body position and workload carried out, with the aim of improving the workings of the riskiest operators in order to be optimal at work. The results of the study were operators 3 and 4 with higher working risk levels. The workload for operators 3 0.80 ± LI = did not cause any risk to the activity performed and the weight of the load lifted, resultant posture score 9 (very risky), right-handed activity 6.7 (medium risk), and left-handedness 11.9 (very risky). Whereas operator 4 obtained a workload yield of 1.14 li LI, which may increase the risk of complaints of waist pain and weight lifted beyond the standard, posture 6 (medium), right-hand activity 11.2 (high risk), and left hand 6.7 (medium risk).

Abstract

From the results of initial observations at PT Moya Kasri Wira Jatim in the process of setting the quality target of ice blocks, so that the workforce working in the company must meet the targets. Of the 26 male workers we interviewed experienced fatigue. This is due to the demands of targets that must be met and workers work in a less conducive physical environment, namely a lot of dust that can harm breathing, and working at temperatures high enough so that workers sweat a lot. This study used observational analytics that aimed to see the relationship between Fatigue with Body Mass Index (BMI) and Sleep Quality. The result indicates that there is significant corelation between BMI and fatigue with significance value p=0,030 < α (0,05), and also there is significant relationship between sleeping quality and work fatigue with significance value p = 0,008 < α (0,05). So, it is concluded that there is corelation between sleeping quality and BMI with work fatigue.
