Abstract

Abstract Teaching material is given to students and assists students in learning something and making learning more interesting and easy to understand. M-learning is a learning media containing teaching materials and can be accessed by students with more attractive visuals and improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to produce M-Learning teaching materials on trigonometry and analyze the improvement of the mathematical connection abilities of XI grade students after using these teaching materials. The approach in this research is a mixed method. The research design used in this study was the One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. This type of research is R&D (Research & Development). The instruments in this study were validation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and mathematical connection ability tests, which were analyzed using t-test and N-gain and involved 26 students of class XI SMK Karya Pembangunan Pasirjambu Bandung. This study indicates that the M-Learning Application of valid (feasible) trigonometric material is used based on the validation assessment of media experts, material experts, and student responses. In addition, there are differences in the improvement of mathematical connection skills between before and after learning using M-Learning teaching materials. The results of this study indicate that the M-Learning Application of trigonometric material is valid (appropriate) to be used based on the validation assessment of media experts, material experts, and student responses. In addition, there are differences in the improvement of mathematical connection skills between before and after learning using M-Learning teaching materials. Abstract

Teaching materials are an important requirement in realizing effective learning in schools. This problem requires the need for teaching materials as a solution to the problem of low numeracy skills. Some of the obstacles in learning mathematics are that teachers are less aware of the importance of preparing teaching materials according to their needs, the benefits of teaching materials in preparing learning tools and implementing learning, and teachers do not understand the mechanisms and techniques for preparing correct teaching materials. The preparation of teaching materials is very important, especially in improving students' mathematical abilities, especially numeracy. To provide solutions to these problems, the PKM Team conducted training on Teaching Materials and Numeracy Instruments for Elementary School Teachers. The stages that are passed are 1) preparation, 2) implementation and 3) evaluation. The participants of this training were 54 with the target audience of UNPAS Mathematics Education Master's students who teach in elementary schools and SD Plus Al-Ghifari mathematics teacher. The activity results showed an improvement in teachers' knowledge and skills regarding numeracy-based teaching materials and instruments, with an initial ability to obtain an average score of 27.04 and a final score with an average of 81.48. Meanwhile, participants' response to the PKM activity obtained a score of 4.6 in the highly satisfactory category. These activity results concluded that there was an improvement in teachers' knowledge and skills in developing numeracy-based teaching materials and instruments, and participants gave a highly satisfactory response to the training activity conducted.

Abstract

The aim of this study is the development of teaching materials for statistical materials based on Edmodo-assisted e-learning and how they impact students' mathematical literacy skills. The method used is the Dick & Carey development model. The research population is class XII Catering, one of the Vocational High Schools in Bandung City, with a sample of class XII Catering 1. The instrument used a mathematical literacy test, validation sheet, student response questionnaire, and interview guidelines. The data collected were analyzed descriptively qualitatively through triangulation, Q-Cochran statistical test, and N-Gain test. The results of this study indicate that the design of teaching materials for statistical materials based on Edmodo-assisted e-learning is very feasible to use in learning mathematics. Furthermore, the results of the application of teaching materials have a positive effect on mathematical literacy skills with a reasonably good category. Therefore, teaching materials must further develop animation, use communicative language, and utilize the latest technology

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Kemampuan guru dan mahasiswa magister pendidikan matematika dalam membuat dan memilih media pembelajaran serta mengemas proses pembelajaran berperan sangat penting dalam dalam menentukan keberhasilan dari hasil belajar. Namun, saat ini penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif masih kurang, karena kurangnya penguasaan teknologi oleh para guru dan mahasiswa magister pendidikan matematika. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, solusi yang diajukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah menyelenggarakan workshop tentang pembuatan storyboard dan games interaktif. Pendekatan PKM yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah Participatory Ation Reasearch (PAR). Peserta program pengabdian ini adalah guru dan mahasiswa magister pendidikan matematika. Data evaluasi hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan peserta pelatihan pada kategori sangat memuaskan. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang diberikan, pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan storyboard dan games interaktif meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan mahasiswa magister pendidikan matematika dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Sebanyak 85% peserta pelatihan berhasil membuat storyboard dan games interaktif. Kata Kunci: games interaktif, media pembelajaran, storyboard [English]: The ability of master students in mathematics education to make learning media, choose learning media, and package the learning process plays a vital role in determining the success of learning outcomes. However, the use of interactive learning media is still lacking due to a lack of mastery of technology by teachers and students of master of mathematics education programs. To overcome this problem, the solution proposed in this PKM activity is to organize a workshop on making storyboards and interactive games. The PKM approach used in this training is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The participants of this program were the teachers and students of the mathematics education master's degree. Evaluation of the data shows that the level of participants was very satisfactory. The results of this program show that the training and assistance in making storyboards and interactive games increase the ability of teachers and students of mathematics education masters to make learning media. As many as 85% of the training participants succeeded in making interactive storyboards and games. Keywords: interactive games, learning media, storyboard

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa Pusat Pengajian Ilmu Pendidikan di Universiti Sains Malaysia bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman terkait konsep dasar metodologi penelitian yang dapat mereka gunakan untuk memenuhi kelulusan mata kuliah laporan penelitian sederhana. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 10 orang mahasiswa program sarjana dari berbagai program studi di Pusat Pengajian Ilmu Pendidikan (PPIP) yang dipilih oleh pihak Universiti Sains Malaysia. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan proposal penelitian. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa pretest dan posttest terkait kemampuan metodologi penelitian yang hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai metodologi penelitian.

Abstract

Dalam rangka mempersiapkan generasi abad 21, literasi digital menjadi hal yang penting bagi guru dan peserta didik. Tujuan dari workshop ini untuk melatih guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis aplikasi Android dan menggunakan aplikasi yang bernama Mastering Math. Bahan ajar berbasis aplikasi Mastering Math dipakai sebagai media pembelajaran dan pemahaman pada mata pelajaran matematika. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 20 orang guru Matematika SMP dan SMA yang dipilih oleh Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, praktik, dan pendampingan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket kepuasan dan kebermanfaatan peserta terhadap pelaksanaan workshop dan tugas membuat bahan ajar dan menggunakan Mastering Math. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa workshop berbasis Mastering Math menggunakan Android sangat signifikan terbukti efektif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam membuat bahan ajar berbasis Android dan memanfaatkan aplikasi Mastering Math

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) is an effort to improve students' intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence through the application of Problem Posing in mathematics learning in Junior High Schools on Constructed Spaces with Curved Sides. The research subjects were 64 students from the 9th grade of a Junior High School in Bandung. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence in the experimental class using the Problem Posing learning model is relatively better than the control class using conventional learning models. The results of this study show that the application of the Problem Posing learning model can improve students' intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence. There are several advantages that researchers get in implementing Problem Posing besides students become the center of learning and practice working in groups, students become much more enthusiastic so that the learning atmosphere is conducive and full of activity, and presentation activities can build courage and confidence in performance. Learning performance and building a positive attitude during learning. Suggestion: The problem-posing learning model can be an alternative to be applied in the classroom because it can foster self-confidence and make students more active, thereby increasing students' mathematical communication skills, which correlate with interpersonal intelligence. Penelitian ini sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan intrapersonal dan interpersonal siswa melalui penerapan Problem Posing pada pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung. Jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian sebanyak 64 orang siswa kelas 9 salah satu SMPN di Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kecerdasan intrapersonal dan interpersonal pada kelas eksperimen dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Posing, relatif lebih baik dari kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Posing dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan intrapersonal dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa, terbukti dari peningkatan rata-rata keduanya pada setiap siklus. Ada beberapa kelebihan yang didapat peneliti dalam menerapkan Problem Posing, selain siswa menjadi sentral pembelajaran dan melatih bekerja dalam kelompok, siswa menjadi jauh lebih semangat dan antusias sehingga suasana pembelajaran kondusif dan penuh aktifitas, selain itu kegiatan presentasi dapat membangun keberanian dan keyakinan dalam unjuk kinerja belajar dan membangun sikap positif selama pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran Problem Posing dapat menjadi alternatif untuk di-terapkan di dalam kelas karena dapat menumbuhkan percaya diri siswa untuk lebih aktif sehingga mampu meningkatkan kecerdasan intrapersonal dan kecerdasan interpersonal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe learning motivation, mathematical understanding and activities of students' and teachers at Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah/MTs) through Active Knowledge Sharing strategy. The research is conducted in MTs.Al-Mukhlisin Bandung  Indonesia.  The method of this research is a mixed method with Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instruments used were motivation questionnaires, observation sheets, mathematical understanding tests and observation sheets. The results of the research indicate that learning motivation, mathematical understanding and activities of teachers and students through the Active Knowledge Sharing strategy increase in each cycle. Students' learning motivation is shown from the result of the questionnaire, states that the average percentage of motivation indicator increase in each cycle, those are 70,35% (cycle I), 71,17% (cycle II ) and 72.15% (cycles III), student mathematical understanding indicated from the test results states that the average value increases in each cycle and the end of the cycle has reached the classical completeness, that is 79.41%, the activities of students and teachers during teaching- learning increased in each cycle of 60.95% (cycle I), 73.33% (cycle II) and 86.67% (cycles III).

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rekam Medis Elektronik bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dengan menyediakan informasi medis yang lebih akurat dan terpercaya. Namun, implementasinya di rumah sakit masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk kepatuhan perawat dalam pengisian rekam medis elektronik. Ketidakpatuhan ini dapat menyebabkan rekam medis yang tidak lengkap, yang berdampak pada keselamatan pasien dan kualitas asuhan keperawatan. Beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi kepatuhan tersebut.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat terhadap kepatuhan pengisian rekam medis elektronik di unit rawat jalan Santosa Hospital Bandung Central. Metode:  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan desain embedded design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perawat di unit rawat jalan Santosa Hospital Bandung Central, sebanyak 73 orang. Sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian meliputi kuesioner mengenai beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat serta observasi dan wawancara terstruktur terhadap responden.Hasil: Beban kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan pengisian rekam medis elektronik dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,003. Stres kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan pengisian rekam medis elektronik dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,011. Secara simultan, beban kerja dan stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan dengan total kontribusi sebesar 58,1%, sementara sisanya (41,9%) dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian.Kesimpulan: Beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan pengisian rekam medis elektronik. Ketidakpatuhan ini dapat mengurangi kualitas pelayanan kesehatan secara keseluruhan.Saran: Rumah sakit perlu mengurangi beban kerja perawat melalui penambahan tenaga kerja atau distribusi tugas yang lebih baik, serta memberikan pelatihan untuk mengelola stres kerja. Selain itu, pengembangan sistem Rekam Medis Elektronik yang lebih user-friendly juga penting untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan perawat.Kata Kunci : Rekam Medis Elektronik, Beban kerja perawat, Stres Kerja Perawat, Kepatuhan Perawat. ABSTRACT Background: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) aim to improve service quality by providing more accurate and reliable medical information. However, the implementation of EMR in hospitals still faces various challenges, including nurses’ compliance in completing the records. Non-compliance in filling out EMR can result in incomplete records, impacting patient safety and the quality of nursing care. Workload and work stress are the main factors influencing nurses' compliance in completing EMR.Purpose:  This study aims to analyze the influence of nurses’ workload and work stress on compliance in completing electronic medical records at the outpatient unit of Santosa Hospital Bandung Central.Methods:  The study applied a mixed-methods approach with an embedded design. The population included all nurses in the outpatient unit of Santosa Hospital Bandung Central, totaling 73 individuals. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique. Research instruments included questionnaires on workload and work stress, along with structured observations and interviews with respondents.Results: The patient knowledge in poor category and noncompliance medications, with p = 0.00 indicates thereResult: Partially, workload significantly influences compliance in completing EMR, with a significance level of 0.003. Partially, work stress also significantly influences compliance in completing EMR, with a significance level of 0.011. Simultaneously, workload and work stress significantly affect compliance in completing EMR, contributing a total of 58.1%, while the remaining 41.9% is influenced by other factors outside the study.Conclusion: Workload and work stress significantly affect nurses’ compliance in completing EMR. Non-compliance may reduce the overall quality of healthcare services.Suggestions: The hospital should reduce nurses' workload by adding more staff or redistributing tasks more effectively, as well as providing training to help nurses manage work stress.
