Abstract

Misconceptions in mathematics education, particularly in numeracy, are a significant issue that needs to be addressed urgently to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This research aims to reduce students' misconceptions by developing and implementing a 4-Tier diagnostic test based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) supported by Arduino tools in a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used is mixed methods with a population of 10th-grade high school students and a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments include a 4-Tier diagnostic test and observation sheets. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using the concurrent embedded strategy model and the Ploomp research design. The results of the study show that the 4-Tier diagnostic test is effective in mapping students' conceptual understanding and significantly reducing numeracy misconceptions. The implementation of the ESD-based PBL model also proved to enhance students' numeracy skills. This research indicates that integrating diagnostic tests into the curriculum is crucial for improving the quality of learning and students' understanding. The use of Arduino in trigonometry learning increases students' motivation and engagement. Thus, this learning model can be a solution to enhance students' competencies in facing the challenges of globalization and technology in line with UNESCO's Agenda 2030

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce e-learning-based ethnomathematical teaching materials and analyze students' problem-solving abilities when students learn to use ethnomathematical-based teaching materials that have been developed. This research is the development of R&D (Research & Development) involving 30 students of SMK MVP Ars International Bandung by applying the Plomp model. The stages of the Plomp model are initial investigation, design, realization, evaluation and revision, and implementation. So, instruments are material validation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and problem-solving ability tests. This research's data analysis uses the Chocran, average comparison, and N-gain tests. The results of this research are: (1) SPLDV teaching materials in e-learning-based Ethnomathematics are classified as feasible on the evaluation of material, and media experts, as well as student responses, (2) Problem-solving abilities used in e-learning, are included in the high category. In this way, SPLDV teaching materials in e-learning-based ethnomathematics mean that students are more interested in learning and can be a reference for teachers in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Clinics are health facilities that provide medical services, both basic medical and specialist medical services. The obligations of health clinics are regulated in the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation no. 269 ​​of 2008, one of which is maintaining medical records. Electronic-based medical records must be carried out by health service facilities in accordance with government policy as stated in Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is a computerized health information system that provides records of patient data as a decision support system. Kusuma Medical Center Clinic Batukajang, East Kalimantan has implemented EMR since 2021, but its implementation has never been evaluated. The aim of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of EMR at the Kusuma Medical Center Clinic Batukajang, East Kalimantan. The research method that would be used in this research was mixed methods. Research instruments include questionnaires, interview guidelines and observation sheets. Quantitative data analysis was carried out through assumption testing and path analysis (PATH). The research results showed that the implementation of EMR at the Kusuma Medical Center Clinic Batukajang, East Kalimantan has been effective. EMR filling was complete, accurate, timely and in accordance with the law. The results of the analysis showed that employees perceptions of EMR had a positive and significant effect on employees attitudes towards filling out EMR.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence, social support, and work-family conflict on teacher work stress. The research method uses mixed methods with concurrent triangulation design, this study integrates qualitative and quantitative analysis which then the results are linked to each other. The population is 77 people, with a sample of 36 married female teachers at SMAN 1 Cirebon. Data collection through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and literature studies. Data analysis uses path analysis and test results with t-test. The results of the study indicate that emotional intelligence, social support, and work-family conflict have a significant influence on work stress in married female teachers at SMAN 1 Cirebon. However, partially only the work-family conflict variable has a positive and significant influence on work stress in married female teachers at SMAN 1 Cirebon.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan jenis kesalahan pada siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal SPLDV. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Mathla’unnawa Kartika. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Hasil tes menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa masih melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal SPLDV. Jenis kesalahan yang siswa lakukan adalah a) siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam membaca perintah yang ditulis dalam soal, b) siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam konsep metode eliminasi, konsep metode substitusi,konsep metode campuran sehingga tidak dapat menyelesaikan apa yang diperintahkan soal tersebut, c) siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam menggunakan sifat penjumlahan dan sifat pengurangan dalam SPLDV, d) siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam melakukan operasi pada bilangan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta motivasi belajar siswa setelah implementasi pendekatan Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Selain itu, dikaji juga aktivitas guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan Pendekatan Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Komputer Jaringan SMK Negeri 1 Haurwangi Kabupaten Cianjur tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Dengan sampelnya diambil secara acak dua kelas, satu kelas diberikan perlakuan dengan pendekatan Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) dan kelas yang satunya lagi dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar ahli media, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa disertai angket motivasi belajar. Analisis data menggunakan metode Mixed Method Embedded. Data yang digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata uji t atau uji mann whitney dan deskripsi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) proses perancangan dan mengembangkan alat STEM menghasilkan produk yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. (2) Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang mendapatkan implementasi pendekatan STEM lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional; (3) respon positif terhadap pembelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEM

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan motivasi antara siswa yang menggunakan metoda Project Based Learning dan siswa yang menggunakan metoda Problem Based Learning ditinjau dari gender (laki-laki dan perempuan). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metoda Kausal Komparatif dengan teknik analisis data Mixed Method (kualitatif dan kuantitatif) konvergen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Banjaran Majalengka, sampel kelas VIII A dan VIII B. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman, motivasi, wawancara dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan motivasi antara siswa yang menggunakan metoda Project Based Learning dan siswa yang menggunakan metoda Problem Based Learning ditinjau dari gender (laki-laki dan perempuan). Hasil lain juga menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara motivasi dengan kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Motivasi siswa baik di kelas PBL dan PjBL mengalami peningkatan, dikarenaka kedua metoda tersebut merupakan metoda yang menuntut siswa lebih aktif dan dengan pemberian masalah di awal pembelajaran siswa menjadi lebih bersemangat dalam belajar matematika.
