Abstract

Considering that the culture of literacy in Indonesia is still low, has not taken root and has not taken root among humans. It's no secret that during the rise of popular culture, books are no longer a priority. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of smart education board media on literacy and numeracy abilities of grade 1 students at SDN 02 Guyangan in Mathematics subject matter Place Value of Numbers. This type of research is a quantitative experimental research, with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research conducted in class 1 at SD N 2 Guyangan found that the use of the Smart Education Board media was effective in improving the literacy and numeracy skills of grade 1 students in the Place Value of Numbers material.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an understanding of the material concept in multiplication which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of applying the cross-line method to understanding the concept of multiplication in grade 3 students at SD Negeri 2 Bugel. modern. This is because, because there are still many who cannot multiply, the cross-line method is a shortcut for understanding the concept of multiplication quickly. The cross-line method is a math learning technique that involves using crossed lines to help students understand the concept of multiplication. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest group design. The research sample consisted of 14 grade 3 students. The results showed that the application of the cross-line method significantly increased the understanding of the concept of multiplication in grade 3 students at SD Negeri 2 Bugel. In conclusion, the cross-line method can be used as an alternative in learning mathematics to increase understanding of the concept of multiplication in 3rd grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Data KPAI menunjukkan 67% tindakan kekerasan terjadi di jenjang sekolah dasar. Tingginya kasus kekerasan ini memperlihatkan betapa pentingnya penanaman karakter sejak dini. Perlu adanya media inovatif agar karakter anak dapat terbentuk dengan baik sesuai profil pelajar pancasila. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan kontribusi pada guru sekolah dasar dalam membangun karakter siswa berprofil pancasila melalui inovasi media pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Mitra program PKM ini merupakan lembaga pendidikan Sekolah Dasar yaitu SDIU Fadlun Nafis Kecamatan Bangsri Kabupaten Jepara. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian meliputi tahap: (1) sosialisasi, (2) pelatihan, (3) pendampingan dan (4) evaluasi (keberlanjutan). Hasil PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa mitra berperan aktif dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal yaitu literacy board srikandi berbentuk permainan monopoli yang diintegrasikan dengan tokoh tiga ratu Jepara dengan nilai-nilai keteladanan tokoh yang dapat dijadikan sarana membangun karakter siswa berprofil pelajar pancasila. Selanjutnya dilakukan pendampingan praktik implementasi media literacy board srikandi di sekolah mitra yang menunjukkan keaktifan siswa belajar serta menjawab pertanyaan.

Abstract

This research comes as bullying becomes an increasingly important issue in Indonesia, particularly in education. Indonesia ranks fifth out of 78 countries in terms of bullying cases. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of character education in preventing verbal bullying behavior among students at SDN 4 Bringin. The study employs a descriptive-qualitative approach with data collection methods encompassing observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process used techniques developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the forms of verbal bullying that often occur in class 3 of SDN 4 Bringin are mocking their friends, calling their parents, and saying harsh words. Factors that influence these actions include children's personality factors, the environment, and mass media. Therefore, the role of character education is important in shaping students' positive attitudes, values, and behaviors. Through the application of values such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation, and tolerance, students can develop a better understanding of the negative impact of verbal bullying behavior. The implementation of character education involves teachers, school parties, and parents to create effective and sustainable character education. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that character education has an important role in preventing verbal bullying behavior at SDN 4 Bringin. The implementation of strong character values and the involvement of teachers and parents will support student development. Therefore, concrete steps need to be taken to strengthen the role of character education in preventing verbal bullying behavior among students in the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model Game Based Learning berbasis Augmented Reality (GBL-AR) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang pada siswa sekolah dasar. Subjek penelitian adalah 26 siswa kelas VI SDN 1 Sowan Lor. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen tipe one group pre-test-post-test. Instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 24 soal mengukur tiga indikator utama: (1) mengidentifikasi jenis bangun ruang, (2) memahami sifat-sifat dan elemen bangun ruang seperti sisi, rusuk, dan sudut, dan (3) menghitung volume bangun ruang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 49,15 (pre-test) menjadi 85,81 (post-test). Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang menandakan perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa GBL-AR efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman konsep, meningkatkan partisipasi, serta memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif di sekolah dasar, khususnya untuk materi geometri bangun ruang.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap rendahnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital interaktif oleh guru akibat keterbatasan kompetensi dalam pengembangan media. Topik ini penting karena pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan interaktif menjadi kebutuhan dalam mendukung transformasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan PKM difokuskan pada pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Smart Apps Creator (SAC) bagi guru di MI Miftahul Huda Tegalsambi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui workshop dan pendampingan berbasis praktik yang meliputi pengenalan aplikasi, pemaparan fitur serta simulasi penggunaan SAC. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh pengalaman langsung dan pemahaman praktis dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital interaktif yang ditujukan keterlibatan aktif peserta selama pelatihan berdasarkan dokumentasi kegiatan. Kegiatan ini penting sebagai upaya awal dalam mendukung kesiapan guru memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving ability is an important ability for students to master, but it is often not facilitated due to the lack of use of adequate teaching materials and learning models. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of SMART-KU local wisdom-based module in Problem-Based Learning on students' mathematical problem-solving ability. Using a quantitative method of quasi-experimental design, which specifically takes a non-equivalent control group design, with a total sample of 32 fifth-grade students of SDN 1 Mijen in the experimental class and control class, and data analysis through paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain score test. The results showed that: (1) through paired sample t-test, there is a significant average difference in students' mathematical problem solving ability before and after treatment, both in experimental (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (≤ 0.05)) and control classes (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (≤ 0.05)), (2) through independent t-test, there is a significant average difference in students' mathematical problem solving ability between experimental and control classes (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (≤ 0.05)), and (3) through N-Gain test, students' mathematical problem solving ability in experimental classes (0.87) improved better than students in control classes (0.68). It can be concluded that the SMART-KU module based on local wisdom in PBL effectively improves students' mathematical problem-solving ability. This research contributes to alternative learning to improve students' mathematical problem-solving ability, which combines local wisdom-based teaching materials and contextual and meaningful learning models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep operasi hitung pecahan campuran pada siswa sekolah dasar akibat pembelajaran yang bersifat konvensional serta kurang memakai media konkret. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing berbantuan media blok pecahan pada pemahaman konsep operasi hitung pecahan campuran siswa kelas V SDN 3 Ngasem. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis penelitian pre-experimental melalui desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa kelas V yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa data pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing sebesar 0,107 dan 0,157. Hasil uji paired sample t-test memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penerapan model snowball throwing berbantuan media blok pecahan terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang disandingkan dengan media konkret mampu merangsang keaktifan, motivasi, dan pemahaman konseptual siswa untuk menyelesaikan operasi hitung pecahan campuran.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are essential for critical thinking and conceptual understanding, yet they remain low among students, particularly in connecting mathematics to real-life contexts. This study aims to develop interactive ethnomathematics-based learning media using Articulate Storyline 3 and to examine its feasibility and potential in improving students’ mathematical communication skills. The novelty of this study lies in integrating local cultural contexts from Kuningan Regency into interactive digital media designed specifically to facilitate mathematical communication. This research employed an R&D approach with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects were 23 tenth-grade students of MAN 1 Kuningan. Instruments included expert validation sheets, mathematical communication tests, and response questionnaires. Expert validation showed very high feasibility: material experts 93.21% and media experts 96.92%. Practicality was also very high: student responses 92.85% and teacher responses 96.66%. Effectiveness was demonstrated by an average N-Gain of 0.55 (medium category). The highest improvement occurred in explaining calculation results in written form (N-Gain 0.78, high category), while conveying mathematical contexts and explaining concepts achieved N-Gains of 0.52 and 0.50 (medium category). The main contribution is empirical evidence that integrating ethnomathematics into Articulate Storyline 3 media can be effectively designed, validated, and implemented to improve mathematical communication skills, while offering a contextual media development model adaptable to other local cultures. These findings confirm that interactive ethnomathematics-based learning media are feasible, practical, and effective as an innovative alternative to strengthen students’ mathematical communication skills.
