Abstract

The background of the research is the low ability of students to accurately performthe under ring shooting technique. The study employed a quantitative approachwith a quasi-experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.The sample consisted of 20 students selected through total random sampling of 20students. The instrument used was a shooting accuracy test administered beforeand after the intervention, which consisted of target-based training sessions. Dataanalysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significantdifference between the pretest and posttest scores with a significance value of0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates that target games have a positive and significanteffect on improving students’ under ring shooting accuracy. Therefore, target-based training can be considered an effective alternative learning strategy toenhance basic basketball skills, especially under ring shooting.

Abstract

Sepak takraw is a traditional sport originating from Southeast Asia and is very popular in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. The main objective of this study is to conduct a literature analysis on sepak takraw extracurricular activities held at various levels of schools. This study was conducted by 4th semester students of class B of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, class of 2023. The results of observations in 80 schools spread across the areas of Jakarta, Bekasi, Cikarang, Karawang, and Purwakarta revealed that the existence of sepak takraw as part of extracurricular activities and physical education learning materials is still very limited. This finding shows the lack of attention to this traditional sport in the educational environment, so systematic efforts are needed to introduce, develop, and integrate sepak takraw into physical education programs in schools. This study uses a qualitative method because the data collected and analyzed are non-numerical, such as interviews, observations, and field texts. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature analysis on sepak takraw extracurricular activities held in schools at each level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan speed ladder terhadap teknik dasar dribbling pada ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMAN 2 Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 2 Indramayu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anggota/siswa ekstrakurikuler futsal yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan one group pretest and posttest design. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes proses teknik dasar dribbling dari penelitian ini. Rata-rata sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan mengalami peningkatan dribbling pada telapak kaki yang signifikan dari 56,70 menjadi rata-rata posttest sebesar 82,50. Sementara itu, hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis Paired Sample T Test dengan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata sebelum perlakuan dengan nilai rata-rata setelah perlakuan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan speed ladder dapat mempengaruhi teknik dasar dribbling pada ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMAN 2 Indramayu.

Abstract

The purpose of making this thesis is to determine the effect of the Direct Instruction Model on the Front Roll Movement Skills of Class VII Floor Gymnastics Learning at SMPN 3 Cikarang Utara. To answer the formulation of research problems that have been formulated, the authors use a quantitative approach with experimental methods. This research was conducted at SMPN 3 Cikarang Utara by taking one class as a research sample, namely class VII which amounted to 36 respondents out of 180 class VII students. The sample technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The form of research design uses pre-experimental design with the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. This research instrument uses a test instrument for the ability of basic techniques of floor gymnastics movements, from this study the average before treatment and after treatment has increased significantly, namely floor gymnastics increased from the mean pretest 46.72 to the mean posttest 78.69. Meanwhile, the results of the calculation of the Paired Sample T Test hypothesis testing with the data obtained from this study are a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant influence between the average score before treatment and the average score after treatment. It can be concluded that the direct instruction model can affect the learning of class VII floor gymnastics at SMPN 3 Cikarang Utara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Se-Komisariat Cipanas mengenai penanganan cedera olahraga dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik proportionate random sampling, melibatkan 218 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket tertutup yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Dari 40 butir pernyataan awal, 33 butir dinyatakan valid, dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,92 yang menunjukkan tingkat keandalan tinggi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif melalui perhitungan frekuensi, persentase, dan nilai rata-rata (mean). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat pengetahuan siswa terhadap penanganan cedera olahraga berada pada kategori memadai dengan nilai rata-rata 62,79. Sebanyak 75% siswa termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi, sedangkan 25% sisanya berada pada kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. Pada aspek pencegahan cedera, siswa menunjukkan pengetahuan tinggi (rata-rata 7,89); pada aspek penanganan cedera, siswa memperoleh hasil terbaik (rata-rata 8,46); sedangkan pada aspek perawatan cedera, hasilnya relatif rendah (rata-rata 4,36). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa siswa telah memahami konsep dasar pencegahan dan penanganan cedera, namun pemahaman terhadap perawatan pasca-cedera masih perlu ditingkatkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the peer teaching model on improving basic basketball skills among tenth-grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Cikampek. The main problem addressed in this research is the low level of students’ basic basketball skills due to teacher-centered learning methods. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 60 students, divided into experimental and control groups using the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a basic basketball skills test (dribbling, passing, and shooting) that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test with the help of SPSS version 26 at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a t-value of 6.12 > t-table 2.00 and p = 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the implementation of the peer teaching model has a significant effect on improving students’ basic basketball skills. The experimental group demonstrated a higher average score improvement than the control group. In conclusion, the peer teaching model is effective in enhancing students’ basic basketball skills through collaborative learning among peers. Practically, these findings can serve as a reference for physical education teachers to apply teaching methods that foster active participation, cooperation, and student responsibility. Theoretically, this study strengthens the relevance of social learning theory in the context of physical education in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student interest in learning at SMKN 1 Tirtajaya Karawang. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with a survey method and research design using cross-sectional. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMKN 1 Tirtajaya Karawang, totaling 155 students. At the same time, the sample was taken in one class using a purposive sampling technique, obtained in class XI TKR 1 with as many as 40 students as the class that will be given a questionnaire about students' interest in learning. The data is processed using Microsoft Excel Software. The results of this study indicate that the level of student interest in learning basketball shows a percentage of learning interest of as much as 43% with suitable criteria. So, it can be concluded that the level of student interest in learning basketball can increase if the teacher can present the material well and pleasantly and provide teaching through games so that students do not feel bored when learning takes place.
