Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to improve teacher competence in compiling HOTS instruments in the form of regular multiple choice, complex multiple choice, and item quality analysis with JASP at MA Darul Aman Tegal. This service uses the Service-Learning (SL) approach, namely activities that combine service and learning with structure and reflection so that the community benefits from the service carried out. The training method goes through several stages, including; observation, training and evaluation. The results of community service activities show that training activities for compiling HOTS instruments in the form of regular multiple choice, complex multiple choice, and item quality analysis with JASP can improve teacher competence. Training and mentoring activities greatly assist teachers in producing quality instruments in accordance with the demands of madrasah assessments.

Abstract

Kehalalan suatu produk (pangan, obat, dan kosmetik) merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi konsumen muslim. Jaminan halal suatu produk sudah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 dan PP No 39 Tahun 2021. Selain itu pada tahun 2024 Indonesia telah menargetkan untuk menjadi pusat halal, dengan upaya nyata melalui akselerasi implementasi sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku UMKM. Salah satunya yaitu dengan program 1 juta sertifikasi halal gratis 2023 dibawah Lembaga Kemenag. Program ini mendorong tim pengabdian melakukan sosialisasi sertifikasi halal dan pembuatan NIB yang diadakan dengan kerjasama Halal Center UIN Mataram di Desa Barabali. Lokasi ini dipilih karena semua produk UMKM belum tersertifikasi halal. Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan sudah diperoleh manfaat berupa terbitnya NIB 12 pelaku UMKM di Desa Barabali. NIB ini kemudian diproses dengan pendampingan sertifikasi halal sampai terbitnya 12 sertifikat halal untuk 12 produk makanan

Abstract

The background of this study was triggered by the long time period in which students spend playing games and the ineffective use of learning media in teaching chemistry subjects. The purpose of the study is to design a model for learning through an Educational Role Playing Game (RPG) to be feasible and practical in teaching acid-base principles for grade XI students. In addition, the study Using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) approach in conjunction with a research and development approach. The participants in this study were media experts, subject matter experts in the area of chemistry, chemistry teachers, and learners in Grade XI from MAN 1 Mataram. The study used interviews and questionnaires as techniques to collect data from the study participants. With validation scores of 92.85% from media professionals, 90.62% from subject experts, and 97.36% from chemistry professors, the study's findings demonstrate the viability of the suggested learning game. Students with an 85.90% practicality level also provided a very positive feedback. This outcome also leads to the conclusion that this RPG-based instructional game is workable and useful for improving students' comprehension of acids and bases

Abstract

This study analyzed the learning difficulties in stoichiometry for university students at the Chemistry Department of UIN Mataram based on their upper secondary education backgrounds. This research employed a descriptive design with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique utilized was purposive sampling, targeting students who had studied stoichiometry. The research instrument was an open-ended diagnostic test form, which was validated by an expert. Data analysis techniques included calculating the percentages of question indicator completeness. The results indicated that the stoichiometric learning difficulties faced by UIN Mataram students were significant, as suggested by the percentage scores obtained in each category. Students from national senior high schools scored 41.7% (moderate), those from Islamic senior high schools scored 36.4% (high), and students from vocational high schools scored 16.7% (very high). The level of difficulties in learning stoichiometry was categorized as very high for students from national senior high schools in two areas: the application of Gay Lusac's law and Avogadro's hypothesis, and the application of the mole concept involving limiting reagents. The difficulties were also categorized as very high for students from Islamic senior high schools in three areas: the application of Gay Lusac's law and Avogadro's hypothesis, the application of the mole concept involving limiting reagents, and determining the compound formula. Furthermore, vocational senior high school students experienced very high difficulties in learning stoichiometry across seven topics, which included writing reaction equations, balancing reactions, formulating basic chemical laws, applying Gay Lusac's law and Avogadro's hypothesis, determining the relative equation (RE) and molecular formula (RM), applying the mole concept to limiting reagents, and determining the formula for hydrate compounds. Based on the results of this study, a differentiated learning strategy is needed to accommodate students' educational backgrounds in terms of content, process, product, and learning environment

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di MI Yusuf Abdussatar Kediri pada mata pelajaran IPA. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru sangat jarang menerapkan model dan menggunakan media dalam proses pembelajarn dan juga masih bersifat satu arah atau masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media kokami pada siswa kelas IV di MI Yusuf Abdussatar Kediri tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Hasil belajar yang diukur yaitu nilai kognitif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa metode observasi dan tes. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Skor aktivitas siswa sebanyak 59,72% dengan kategori aktif meningkat menjadi 85,41% dengan kategori sangat aktif pada siklus II. Begitu juga skor aktivitas guru dari 68,66% dengan kategori terlaksana baik meningkat menjadi 92,10% dengan kategori terlaksana sangat baik pada siklus II. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 14 orang dan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 9 orang dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 60,86%. Pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 22 orang dan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 1 orang dengan ketuntasan klasikal 95,65%. Dengan demikian, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media kokami dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajara IPA Kelas IV di MI Yusuf Abdussatar Kediri tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.
