Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the causes of the crisis of love found in the community of Christ's followers today.  Nowadays, it is found that the lives of most of the believers who in fact profess to be followers of Christ, but in fact show the value of life that is contrary to their confession of faith, whereas Christianity is identical with love and care based on a high impulse of compassion towards others as a form of service.  The real.  Because, if the basis of Christianity is no longer love as has been taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ during his presence and ministry on earth, of course it is an irony.  The research approach method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through various sources such as the Bible and other literature, interviews, and other sources that are related to the topic of study.  The result: first, the purpose of life for some followers of Christ is not to exalt Christ, but rather for their own sake. Second, the value of the life that some followers of Christ live is not different from the value of the life of people in the world (outside of Christianity).

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor yang sangat krusial dalam keberlangsungan sebuah organisasi, oleh karena melalui peran seorang pemimpin dan cara dia memimpin, nasib organisasi apa pun dipertaruhkan. Kenyataan bahwa ditemukan sebagian pemimpin Kristen yang tidak memiliki visi dalam kepemimpinannya, sehingga kurang efektif dalam rangka mencapai tujuan organisasi yang dipimpinnya, padahal tanpa visi yang jelas mustahil memperoleh hasil yang diimpikan. Tujuan: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menganalisa dan menemukan kepemimpinan yang efektif berdasarkan iman dan visi Ilahi. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dengan pengumpulan data melalui jurnal-jurnal, berbagai buku, wawancara serta dokumen yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan topik yang dikaji. Hasil: Pertama, kepemimpinan Kristen yang efektif berasal dari pemimpin yang memiliki iman yang hidup. Kedua, kepemimpinan Kristen yang efektif berasal dari pemimpin yang memiliki visi. Kesimpulan: kepemimpinan Kristen yang efektif adalah kepemimpinan di mana pemimpin aktif menghubungkan visi dan iman, oleh karena kedua hal tersebut pada dasarnya saling berhubungan sehingga tidak dapat dipisahkan, sebab seorang pemimpin yang beriman teguh melihat keadaan yang nampak hari, namun juga melihat keadaan masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of a healthy church based on Acts 4:32 and its relevance to the Church today. The method used is qualitative exegesis and data collection through Bible sources, books, and journals that discuss topics as needed. This topic is necessary because many unhealthy churches are now full of divisions. The result: First, a healthy church has unity and unity among its congregations. The Church, in conclusion, is a spiritual institution and belongs to God in essence; it must be fit by showing the characteristics of oneness and unity in the community so that in this way, the Church can glorify the name of God.

Abstract

The phenomenon of speaking in tongues is often a debate among church because there are various kinds of doctrines about tongues. This problem is also exacerbated by the existence of exclusive statements about tongues, pentecostal and neo-pentecostal church often state that people who are filled with the Holy Spirit must speak in tongues, while the opposing with tongues-speaking people allege that the act is heretical and some who declared it a trance phenomenon. This writing method uses qualitative literature review to understand the essence of tongues in the church. In conclusion speaking in tongues is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and not an absolute sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit.   Abstrak Fenomena berbahasa lidah sering menjadi perdebatan antar aliran gereja, hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya berbagai macam doktrin tentang bahasa lidah. Permasalahan ini juga semakin runcing karena adanya pernyataan-pernyataan yang ekslusif tentang bahasa lidah, aliran gereja pentakosta dan neo-pentakosta sering menyatakan bahwa orang yang dipenuhi Roh kudus pasti berbahasa lidah, sedangkan aliran yang kontra dengan orang berbahasa lidah menuduh bahwa tindakan itu sesat dan ada pula yang menyatakan itu sebagai fenomena kesurupan. Metode penulisan ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan tinjauan pustaka untuk mengerti esensi bahasa lidah dalam bergereja. Kesimpulannya bahasa lidah merupakan salah satu karunia dari Roh Kudus dan bukan tanda mutlak dipenuhi Roh Kudus.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Google Classroom on learning outcomes. This research uses literature study by searching relevant journals and articles through online databases that focus on the use of Google Classroom as a distance learning media. The results of the study show that the use of Google Classroom is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The use of Google Classroom provides many benefits, such as facilitating communication between teachers and students, speeding up the assessment process, and enriching learning material with features such as videos and images. Although there are some obstacles faced in using Google Classroom, such as limited internet access and the need for training to operate the platform, the use of Google Classroom is still considered an effective alternative in the process of distance learning. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the use of Google Classroom in the educational environment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, by considering several important factors such as infrastructure and teacher qualifications.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar adalah salah satu kebijakan pendidikan yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) Indonesia pada tahun 2020. Kurikulum ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kebebasan kepada siswa dalam menentukan materi yang ingin dipelajari serta cara belajar yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang peran dan fungsi guru, meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang kompetensi guru dan meningkatkan kemampuan guru. Hasil Pelatihan Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru Dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Adalah mempunyai tujuan Program Guru Belajar dan Berbagi Seri Semangat Guru-guru : Kompetensi Nonteknis Pendukung Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Mendukung program dan inisiatif Kemendikbud-Ristek, seperti Guru Penggerak, Guru Belajar, Guru Berbagi dan Kurikulum Merdeka, sekaligus membantu menciptakan program yang kreatif dan berkelanjutan dalam sistem manajemen pembelajaran "Guru Belajar & Berbagi" dan Platform Merdeka Mengajar.

Abstract

Environmental education plays a pivotal role in fostering a sustainable future by equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to address complex environmental challenges. This research presents a comprehensive bibliometric review of the literature on environmental education for sustainable development, with a specific focus on curriculum design and pedagogical approaches. The analysis encompasses a wide range of scholarly articles published between 1961 and 2023, providing valuable insights into the current state of research in this field. Furthermore, the research employs VOSviewer, a bibliometric software, to analyze co-citation and bibliographic coupling networks, identifying influential authors, prominent journals, and emerging trends within the field. The most frequent and fewer occurring keywords are compared to highlight central concepts and potential areas for further research. The results of this study contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the diverse themes, effective practices, and influential contributors in environmental education for sustainable development. By identifying key areas of focus and research gaps, educators, policymakers, and researchers can design targeted interventions and initiatives that promote environmental literacy, responsible behavior, and sustainable practices among learners. Ultimately, this research seeks to advance the field of environmental education and empower individuals to become active stewards of the environment, shaping a more sustainable and resilient future for all.

Abstract

In the contemporary world, the dynamics of culture and communication are constantly evolving due to the forces of modernization. Traditional rituals and practices often undergo transformations as societies adapt to new realities. The research aims to analyze symbolic communication in the ritual of Slametan Ngawandasa Ndinteni in the village of East Kasiyan, using a semiotic approach. In the context of modernization, the ritual faces challenges in preserving its meaning and relevance amid social and cultural changes. Therefore, this study seeks to understand the symbolic values embedded in the ritual and the role of symbolic communication in strengthening cultural identity and social cohesion in the community. The research adopts a qualitative approach with semiotic analysis method. This research employs a qualitative research design, aiming to deeply explore the semiotic aspects of Slametan Ngawandasa Ndinteni ritual and its significance in the context of modernization. Data is collected through participatory observation during the implementation of Slametan Ngawandasa Ndinteni, as well as in-depth interviews with 20 participants, they were 5 community figures, 5 local leaders, and 10 cultural practitioners related to the communication. Besides, relevant documents and literature are used to support the analysis. The research findings reveal that Slametan Ngawandasa Ndinteni is a ritual rich in signs and symbols, including language, bodily movements, and ritual objects. These signs form a complex system of symbolic communication, containing profound meanings about tradition, religious beliefs, as well as identity and social relationships in the community.

Abstract

Pelatihan penulisan Karya Tulis Ilmiah adalah tahap penting dalam mempersiapkan proposal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM-KM) yang unggul. Sebuah artikel ilmiah yang berkualitas tidak hanya harus menggambarkan penelitian secara sistematis dan jelas, tetapi juga harus menunjukkan relevansinya dan kontribusinya dalam domain yang dipilih. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa harus memiliki pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar penulisan artikel ilmiah, struktur yang benar, serta teknik dan strategi penulisan yang efektif. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah. Hal ini diperlukan sebagai langkah efisien dan efektif untuk mengubah proposal menjadi sebuah karya tulis ilmiah yang kualitatif. Di era teknologi yang berkembang pesat saat ini, PKM menjadi salah satu sarana yang memungkinkan mahasiswa mengembangkan ide-ide kreatif dan inovatif dengan cepat dan tepat, khususnya dalam menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah. Metode pelatihan mencakup berbagai sesi seperti presentasi, diskusi, dan latihan praktis dalam penulisan. Peserta akan dikenalkan dengan langkah-langkah kunci dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah, seperti pemilihan topik, penyusunan abstrak, identifikasi pertanyaan penelitian, tinjauan literatur, pengembangan kerangka pemikiran, pengumpulan dan analisis data, serta pembahasan hasil, simpulan, saran, dan penyusunan daftar referensi. Harapannya, pelatihan ini akan memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah dan akan meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam menyusun proposal serta menulis karya ilmiah yang sesuai standar jurnal.

Abstract

This research delves into the prohibition of idol worship in the Bible, especially the Old Testament, with an emphasis on the role of the prophets who emphasized this prohibition. The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of the concept of idol worship prohibition through the qualitative research method of Literature Review. The Bible, particularly the Old Testament, consistently conveys the prohibition of bowing down to worship idols. This activity is considered serious and carries severe consequences, especially for the people of Israel. Violating this prohibition is seen as betrayal to God and has the potential to trigger divine punishment. The theological basis for this prohibition lies in the jealousy of God, which arises when offerings are given to idols. Idol worship is equated with the practices of pagan nations and reflects unfaithfulness to God. This research also describes the history and theology behind this prohibition. Through the perspectives of Brian S. Rosner, E. L. Carlson, and Christie Kusnandar, the research demonstrates how idol worship triggers God's jealous reaction and disrupts the human relationship with Him. This message is strong in the Bible and integrated into Jewish religious teachings. In conclusion, the prohibition of idol worship serves as an important warning to maintain loyalty to God and avoid practices that are inconsistent with faith.
