Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan aplikasi smart apps creator pada mata pelajaran pembuatan hiasan busana kelas XI SMK Pemda Lubuk Pakam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan ( Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE ( analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Pemda Lubuk Pakam. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas XI Tata Busana SMK yang berjumlah 10 siswa di SMK Pemda Lubuk Pakam. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembuatan sulaman fantasi pada tengah muka blus wanita yang dibuat dalam bentuk media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan aplikasi smart apps creator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, hasil uji kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan aplikasi smart apps creator menurut 6 orang ahli. Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan menyatakan media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi smart apps creator pada mata pelajaran pembuatan hiasan busana layak digunakan dengan kriteria “ sangat layak” dari ahli materi dengan hasil persentase 92% dan validasi ahli media dinyatakan “sangat layak” dengan hasil persentase 91 %. Hasil penelitian uji kelayakan menunjukkan hasil penilaian siswa adalah 98,5% dengan kriteria “ sangat layak”. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba maka dinyatakan media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan aplikasi smart apps creator ini bisa digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dikelas terutama pada mata pelajaran pembuatan hiasan busana.

Culture that is inherited hereditary and takes place in certain local areas is an invaluable heritage, one of which is the weaving culture in Aceh Besar District of Aceh Province. The lack of young generation’s interest to sustain weaving activity is concerned with the existence of Aceh Songket weaving, which contains various philosophical meanings in the future. Through education, it should be a relay to maintain the culture of weaving in Aceh Province so that it becomes the identity of the Aceh people. The research in this article aims to design and determine the feasibility of the media, practicality, and effectiveness of the Aceh Songket Weaving-making textbook media Integrated with Local Wisdom. The development of textbook media uses a 4-D development model. The results of the validity testing validated by material experts and media experts indicate a score of 91.5% in which the considered aspects are categorized as very valid, the practicality testing indicates 80% in the Practical category, and the effectiveness testing on students’ performance aspects indicates a score of 80 in the good criteria. Along with the data, it can be concluded that textbooks are feasible to use in learning.

The aim of the activity is to maintain Yati Modiste's business in facing the pandemic by making ready-to-wear clothing decorated with Batubara songket ornaments using embroidery techniques. Mitra is a tailor at Yati Modiste, Barung - Barung Village, Limapuluh District, Batubara, North Sumatra. The output of the activity is three ready-to-wear clothes decorated with Batubara songket ornaments using embroidery techniques, development of an effective business management system, online marketing and articles resulting from the activity. This activity is carried out using a persuasive-educative approach through counseling and training stages. The methods used are lecture, demonstration, question and answer methods which include preparation, implementation, evaluation. and monitoring. The results of the activity obtained were that participants were able to make six ready-to-wear clothes decorated with Batubara songket ornaments using embroidery techniques. Many students experience the difficulty of applying the right variations of embroidery to clothing. The available learning resources only contain material on clothing variations without providing appropriate examples for applying embroidery variations to clothing. Hence, this research aims to develop an electronic book on the application of embroidery variations to clothing. The research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model used is the Brog and gall model. Validation of teaching materials is carried out by material experts and media experts. The validation results from material experts indicates 92.06% in the very feasible category. The validation results from media experts reveals an average of 94.43%, which was very feasible. Small group trials indicates an average result of 82.87% in the very feasible category. Large group trials reveals an average score of 87.85% in the very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the e-book on embroidery variations is very suitable for use in basic embroidery technique courses. The development of an electronic book on embroidery variations can facilitate the delivery of practical material in applying embroidery variations on clothing so as to increase students' understanding of learning basic embroidery techniques.

Perupuk merupakan desa di kecamatan Lima Puluh Pesisir, kabupaten Batu Bara. Kabupaten Batu Bara dikenal sebagai sentra industri songket Melayu Batu Bara di Sumatera Utara. Potensi industrI songket ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh mitra dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Pendapatan utama ibu-ibu di desa Perupuk adalah menenun dan menjahit. Namun, masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu kurangnya kreatifitas dalam memanfaatkan tenunan songket Melayu Batu Bara menjadi busana nasional modifikasi ready to wear. Padahal, melalui industri fashion mitra dapat meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga dan dapat memanfaatkan produk busana menjadi platform pengenalan bentuk warisan budaya melalui tenun songket Melayu Batu Bara. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yaitu memberikan pelatihan pembuatan busana nasional modifikasi ready to wear di desa Perupuk, kecamatan Lima Puluh Pesisir, Kab. Batu Bara. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan dan evaluasi. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan memberi edukasi pengetahuan konsep busana ready to wear. Pengetahuan mitra dalam menciptakan busana ready to wear menggunakan tenun songket Melayu Batu Bara meningkat secara signifikan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan mitra meningkat sebesar 81.6% kategori baik. Mitra mampu menganalisis konsep desain busana ready to wear, pembuatan pola, merubah pola sesuai desain, pengetahuan merancang bahan dan teknik menjahit busana. PKM ini diharapkan mampu membantu mitra dalam memanfaatkan potensi budaya daerah dan penguatan ekonomi masyarakat setempat serta memastikan produk busana ready to wear tetap mempertahankan identitas tenun songket Melayu Batu Bara.

The present study discusses the relatively low literacy skills and reading interest of students in children's fashion lectures. The learning process is not yet fully optimal because the level of understanding and psychomotor abilities of students still vary. The research purpose is to produce comic-based teaching materials for students of the Fashion Education study program to produce products that can be used by students as independent learning resources. The development model used in designing comic-based children's fashion teaching materials is the 4-D model consisting of four stages, namely 1) Define (definition), 2) Design (design), 3) Tell (development), and 4) Disseminate (dissemination). Data collection was carried out using a validation questionnaire from material and media experts. Data analysis techniques used include qualitative data analysis with descriptive methods and quantitative data analysis with validity and feasibility tests. The results of the validity test conducted by material experts produced a score of 91.5% in the very valid category. The results of the media expert validation obtained 94.46% in the very valid category. The practicality test obtained a score of 80%, included in the practical category and the effectiveness test produced a score of 80 in the Good category. Thus, it can be concluded that comic-based teaching materials are suitable for use in children's fashion learning. This product has the potential to be a source of independent learning that supports increasing literacy and reading interest in children's fashion lectures.

Learning that takes place in the Fashion Design Education Study Program is of course related to practical learning in the field of fashion. In the practicum learning process, students need a high level of understanding to carry out every step of making a dress. Learning that is regulated by blended learning has various obstacles including; restrictions on the number of practicum classes in class, different levels of student understanding, mastery of sewing skills that are not the same, inadequate learning tools and also internet network disturbances during online learning. This study aims to design interactive e-books to support blended learning. An e-book is a book that is programmed into a computer so that it can visualize abstract material into a visual form that can be animated so that students are more interested in the learning process. The development of interactive e-book media uses a 4-D development model through 4 stages, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Development stage and the Disseminate stage. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that the average practicality test results were in the practical category and the effectiveness test was in the good category.

Desa Mangga Dua, Kecamatan Beringin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dihuni oleh 1106 KK. Pekerjaan kepala rumah tangga terbagi menjadi tiga kelompok yaitu Pegawai, Petani dan Peternak. Akan tetapi mereka masyarakat yang sangat terbuka dengan perkembangan dan mempunyai keinginan yang kuat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan taraf hidup. Hal ini terbukti saat tim membina salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang tergabung dalam kelompok UPPKS Kemuning mendapatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan dari LPM Unimed, mereka sangat antusias. Kelompok ini dinilai sangat berhasil meningkatkan usahanya. Sementara di Desa tersebut terdapat 60 KK ibu rumah tangganya juga mempunyai usaha yang sama yaitu menjahit. Mereka kebanyakan masih menjahit sesuai orderan atau limpahan pekerjaan dari kelompok kemuning. Mereka juga sangat berharahap akan dilakukannya pembinaan dan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan seperti kelompok UPPKS Kemuning. Tim berusaha mendiskusikan dengan kepala desa, kelompok PKK dan ibu perwiritan untuk membentuk kampung bordir yang pada akhirnya tercipta badan usaha desa dalam bentuk koperasi. Tawaran ini langsung disambut mereka terutama bapak kepala desa yang menjanjikan akan memasukkan kedalam RPJMD. Metode yang dilakukan dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut diatas TIM menyusun program dalam bentuk tranfer ilmu dan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan. Tim yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini berasal dari 4 fakultas yang berbeda yang mempunyai fungsi dan keahliannya masing-masing. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa untuk dapat berperan dalam pengabdian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diawali dari pemetaan peserta baik dari segi pasilitas yang dimiliki, omset, dan keterampilan yang sudah dikuasai. Transfer ilmu untuk pembekalan pada masyarakat, kemudian tim bersama dengan masyarakat berusaha meningkatkan mutu produk dengan melibatkan tenaga ahli, mahasiswa dan tutor sebaya. Menciptakan produk yang mempunyai kekhasan daerah sehingga dapat berdaya saing. Perbaikan dari segi manajemen usaha seperti pembukuan secara manual. Demikian juga sistem pemasaran yang berbasis IT dan sistem online akan dilakukan. Dari hasil pembinaan yang dilakukan telah menghasilkan produk yang lebih baik dengan basis motif etnis Sumatera Utara. Secara manajemen pembukuan setiap peserta telah menggunakan pembukuan standar yang telah dirancang oleh tim. Disamping itu, peserta juga berhasil menghasilkan produk turunan dari kain percah yang selama ini menjadi limbah.Kata kunci : Bordir, Pelatihan, Pendampingan, Berkelanjutan

The low interest in learning and understanding of students in studying Body Spa material is caused by the limitations of the learning media used by teachers, as well as the lack of interesting and interactive media. The purpose of this study is to develop learning media in the form of animated video tutorials based on Blender on Body SPA material for class XI students of SMK Swasta Imelda. This study is an R&D study with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages, namely: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a data analysis technique, namely descriptive statistics. The validation results from media experts and material experts showed that the learning media developed was very feasible to use, with an assessment of material experts with an average feasibility of 89% and media experts with an average of 88% with a very feasible category. The results of the small group trial were 87%, the medium group trial was 88.33% and the large group trial was 90% with the category Very Feasible. These results indicate that students gave a positive response to this animated video. This media is considered interesting, easy to understand, and able to increase students' motivation and understanding of Body Spa material. The use of animated video tutorial learning media based on Blender can increase students' learning motivation, especially in beauty expertise competencies.
