Abstract

Life expectancy (AHH) is an indicator that can reflect the health status of a region, whether from infrastructure, access, and health quality. As one of the dimensions of the Human Development Index (HDI), AHH is deemed to need global attention. Today, AHH growth in developing countries is slow even slower when compared to underdeveloped countries. In Indonesia, the trend of life expectancy at birth continues to increase, but the achievement of national AHH is still lagging behind the AHH of neighboring countries. In addition, as an archipelagic country, the achievement of AHH among provinces still shows a disparity. This study modeled the factors that determine AHH with semiparametric spline truncated regression approach. The method of selecting optimum knots using Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) method. The best model that is formed is a model using three knots with the coefficient of determination of 84.70 percent. Significant variables were percentage of the poor population, percentage of households using clean drinking water, percentage of population who have health complaints, the percentage of under five years who have been complete immunized, and Mean Years of Schooling (MYS). The results of this study are expected to be an input for the Government to take policy in order to improve the national AHH as a whole

Abstract

Mall Success can be seen with a large number of mall visitors and visitors coming. In this case, one of the malls in the Tidar area of Surabaya is more important than most of the malls in general in the city of Surabaya. At the XYZ mall area, visitors are seen lonely from day to day, this is a big question mark whether visitors are satisfied to receive a compilation of visiting the mall. For this reason, the satisfaction of visitors and customers in the mall is an important factor in determining the buying and selling activities in the mall. The research offered suggests about customer satisfaction and customer loyalty proposed by, hedonic value, Relaxation Value, socialization value, Utilitarian Value. This can affect the purchasing power of consumers to buy at the mall. Satisfaction can provide a supported spending will, thus providing a significant turnover of money. By creating a sense of satisfaction can generate customer loyalty in the mall. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to visitors or customers who have come to the XYZ mall. The method used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling. by Processing data using Smart PLS software because the research model is complex. The findings in this study are the outcome variable, Hedonic Value, Relaxation Value, and Socialization Value regarding customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, while the Utilitarian Value only has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to make the mall management considerations to develop the right strategy in increasing the number of visitors and customers to come to the mall.

Abstract

Based on investment data in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) with asset code road and construction, also port facility construction in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) 2017 – 2018, there are 65 projects of physical construction. In the bidding process, to assess competence and business ability, also other requirements from the provider with stages of administration evaluation, technical evaluation and bid price from contractor. In 65 investment projects there are 18 projects fined. This research took 65 samples. While secondary data was collected from document of eligible awards of bidding on investment project in 2017–2018 in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) with asset code road and construction, also port facility. Analysis used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research conclude that bidding process significantly affects to project performance variable

Abstract

Mall is a shopping center consisting of the main tenants (anchors), retail, shops, services, and public facilities that are built, managed, and arranged by the manager with the aim of conducting interaction between visitors and sellers. In 2018 Surabaya City had 33 malls or 50.77% of the total number of malls in East Java, this shows that the mall population in Surabaya City is very high. Mall XYZ is one of the malls that stood in the city of Surabaya and has been operating for one year. This mall still has not shown a development that is not optimal because of the many complaints from tenants to building management related to the sale of products that do not reach the target, as a result tenants often violate the rules (house rules) that have been set by managers to break the cooperation contract between building management and tenants unilaterally . To find out the cause of these conditions, text mining methods are used to filter reviews from visitors filtered from the Mall XYZ Google page. of the existing reviews classification will be based on reviews that contain positive and negative sentiment. review with positive sentiment becomes an appreciation that must be maintained and improved while a review containing negative sentiment becomes a complaint that must be addressed by the building management as the mall manager.
